How do you know whether its readings are accurate? There is no point of reference.
you need to aim the sensor to the reflective sticker for accurate result, use the laser for easy aiming. thank you
@@DiyToolsStuff I know how it works. I own one. There's still no point of reference as to accuracy. I compared mine to a Starrett analog tach. The values were not identical. What do you compare yours to?
sorry but i don’t have another non contact tachometer to test and check the accuracy of this uni-t ut373.
You can use a function generator to light a LED at specific frequency and measure with the tachometer and see if it match.

Contact tachometer is more accurate than non-contact laser ❤
if you just want to measure average rpm. laser for you
if want 100% actual rpm. contact for you..
I'm just thinking and saying this without any experience use both meters😂😂..
But more logical use contact for more accuracy
