- I was inspired by the new 2023 Advent Barbie doll to make my own stylish Christmas doll from a rescue 1960 doll. She was dirty and tattered. Now a glowing beauty!! One of my best makeovers!! She is old Hollywood glamour in RED.This video was made with Clipchamp

Where do you get the little bitty bobby pins? I LOVE your videos! I Love that you actually do things and play with your Barbies! 😻I am a Barbie Glam Fan. I am so sad when I look at the new Barbies and the only one available each year is either Holiday Barbie or something extremely expensive.

I love your passion for Barbie especially your enthusiasm for DIY projects! I've seen others flaunt their, "12 Days of Christmas" then listen to them complain about this or that... Too much Drama for me. Mattel created Barbie for us to be creative with our imaginations. And I love yours!
I bought the reproduction '62 Dream House and then I created my own DYI cardboard Dream House with a "Mondrian-ish" vide. I kept the doll and outfits that came with the Dream House then sold the house on eBay. I got exactly what I paid for it so it was a Win Win situation for me.
I also bought the '57 Chevy Barbie convertible but had my dad help me paint it a very oretty "Grecian Gold Metallic" with beige and white interior. It looked so much better then "Barbie Pink" and more sophisticated for vintage dolls. I took four vintage blonde barbies put them in matching "Sophisticated Lady" outfits and had my Barbie's as the "King Sister's" and gave them to my mother for her 80th Birthday. She loved them, and so did my family...since we are all Mormons from Salt Lake City!

Very nice. I have the advent set and have been thinking of dressing a swirl ponytail Barbie in one of the outfits that came with it. This convinces me that I should experiment a bit.

As usual, loved the video. I especially loved the candle idea for the candelabra. Your Dollar Tree store still sells $1.00 items? I wish ours did. Ours raised their price to $1.25 a while back. 😊😊😊😊

The head on that #4 body is not a #4 head - it looks like a #6 or #7 PT head. I'm 100% positive. I've been working with vintage barbies since 2007. The 1-5 Barbie PTs lip paint always seemed to last but anything after #5 the lip paint usually faded or mostly gone. And her eyebrows is definitely #6 or #7 shape.
