This is one of my favourite outfits for Barbie.
I love this look, so much! It brings back great memories of my childhood. My mom had a hat with an attached scarf (blue) and I used to think she looked like a movie star, when she wore it. Barbie and Ken look so nice in these road trip outfits! The clothes are in such great shape, and that little map, marking the spot for Mattel, is a great touch. Every family in my day, had maps. You could buy them at gas stations. Some families even bought a yearly atlas, but we only had maps. Daddy always kept one in the glove compartment. Another awesome video!

Now you need a Barbie Cadillac for them to get around... Altho even that cherry red Mini Cooper they released a while back would look nice with their outfits...

I love these fashions I have both of them nearly complete. The sweater in good condition is really hard to find.

i love Ken's outfit and Barbie's hat most. When i started collecting, i had this "brilliant idea" to dress my G.I. Joes in vintage Ken doll clothes from the 60s.
So i bought a few outfits, but in the end, i played myself.
i would love to have "Rally Day", the coat especially, but it won't fit any of my Superstar-era Kens.
The only item that is usable for me is the red cap, which i have used a lot.
I love the red hat! I wish they had made them in more colors. Do vintage ken not fit GI joes? I know you mentioned their fists are too big for some of the sleeves

I think the zipper of the pants must be on the front. 😊😊😊
haha yes I did know that. I like to put the zipper on the back on Barbie so you can’t see it on the front. Not a fan of exposed zippers on the front
I thought the zipper for Barbie went in the front so the pleats would lay flat?
@@Lewisa369 Yup there are small darts on the pants. Zipper goes in the front. I did the opposite to avoid the look or a zipper on the front.
