I was 12 years old when my granddad’s friend took me for a short drive in one of these. He started pulling doughnuts in a dirt lot and it was like nascar made a baby with a go kart. 15 years later and this car still holds a special place in my heart... it’s why I love automobiles
The second fog light switch activates the Defender mode where the car transforms into a crime fighting attack vehicle.
It doesn’t work; it’s afraid to mess with anybody that has balls enough to drive a Viper
I watch this review regularly whenever I want to pretend I have a viper.
Lol me to
My tech school had a Viper v10 on a stand and you never realize how big these engines are until you're staring at it front to back. They're huge.
Did it ever get crushed?
Keyfob sets the factory alarm but it has to have the door closed to arm it. And when its armed it will alarm when you open the door. The second switch is for lights is a rear fog light switch pretty common on a lot of cars. They were probably for the viper to be euro spec compliant.
Fellow RT/10, these cars are so much freakin fun
Other fog light switch was for euro cars that required rear fog lights (like porsches in tail lights)
Missing the valve cover vent hose....can be dangerous if debris enters
Dan DeLuca that’s what I said when he opened the hood.
No cheesey music needed, my car sells itself
Christmas came and so did I
The greatest car ever built!!
Thanks for the video, and have a great Christmas!
Apologize for the late response, but I hope you did too!
Classic look on the early Vipers. A little more civilized than a Cobra kit car but not much. A car that makes you smile driving.
No trunk struts, Carol S. Said, if it doesn't make the car faster, it doesn't belong on the car.
I fell in love with these cars when I was in high school. No one had ever seen anything like this. I’m still in love with them and I will own one. It’s weird though I have always been a Chevy guy.
Nice video, Vipers are absolutely awesome cars, love mine
Thank you!
I love my Viper also
I have one! I have to say it’s my dream car!! Gotta love driving it on a Sunday afternoon
How much for a typical oil change? Typical costs; break change, tires?
Yep, those wheels were either from an earlier year viper or painted. The 1995 Gen 1 was the only year where they metallic flake added to the wheel paint. Pretty cool.
That's my dream car.
Thanks for making this great review
Thank you for watching!
It has locks in the door because it is/was the law to sell the car with door locks! :) As others have said, the keyfob is for arming/disarming the alarm system.
Break blunts like glass then you get the Banshee- Bones.
What song is that introduction track?
My dream car
Nice!
What's up with camera view??
No engine sound? Most of the video was you saying "I don't know". This car review stuff is not for you. Keep your day job.
yeah i was sad too like no sound really
0:14 It might just be the camera angle, but the front emblem looks a little off center?
It's a shadow haha. the right side of the center part of the grill is shadowed. At the bottom point of the badge is where the center of the car is.
To match words - no engine sound, no drive sound.
The "No Cluer"
Key fob is to set the factory alarm
Ah, I figured. Thanks for the info!
Wow... It is crazy to realize you can get one of these RIGHT NOW for less than 25k
I'd probably do it if I had enough money haha
If you were to buy a viper for less than 25,000 it probably would be in poor condition with high mileage but if that’s what you could afford then it is still worth it. But to find one in really good condition with low mileage you’re looking at over 40,000. The car is amazing and so much fun to drive. I know because I have one.
I’m looking at one right now a little over $40k. I’d have to drive to states to get it but I’m seriously close to pulling the trigger.
Two*
@@michaelkniazuk6418 Lmao not anymore 😂 before COVID, yeah, they were pretty cheap. Not great condition, but definitely cheap. Not the cheapest are like $30-40K..
Is that music Angel Vivaldi?
The 1995 Dodge "Viper"... It may be weird, but it's a SPORTS Car, NOT Family Car!!! It's my Favorite of All Cars!!! My 2nd Favorite, is the Porshe 928S!!! :D!!!
Who lends these cars for you to drive?
Review the GTS !!!!!!!!!
review the Prowler !!!!!!!!!!
"Daddy what's a tape deck?" "Well, son it is like an 8 track only smaller." This guy does not even know what a cassette tape deck is. You should be banned from reviewing any 90s cars. LOL
my dad has 1
Love the Viper. Liked and subscribed. Check out mine sometime. Ohh and if the top is off you need to remove the rear window for better aero. It helps trust me.
He didn’t shut that hood all the way! 7:05
What kind of a man would drive a viper through Possum Woods?
Viper morph...
Viper Defender.
never ever open or close a Viper's hood like the way you did, you're going to crack it
Dominique Tits Please explain the correct way. I just got a 1999 R/T and I don’t want to do anything wrong.
Dodge recommends opening The hood from the center of the hood at the bottom of the windshield. Closing it would just be guiding it from the center of the hood and being careful both latches are in their guides. And then going to the front of the car using two hands about 18 inches up from the hood line in the front. And then firmly pushing down until both latches catch. This would be for GEN 1 and GEN 2....RT/10 or GTS. If I have someone available with me i usually use two people to open and close the hood on my Viper. After all if you could find a hood your looking at over $20,000 for the hood.
Can someone please gift me of a viper rt/10 convertible? please
Hi Claude you can speak now
Lightning McQueen
1:43
the guy who has no clue can't figure out why the remote door lock doesn't work when the door is open. My dude, please take the sound out and post video only.
Obviously you know nothing about the Viper. Its nothing but a parts bit to an educated car person
Junk reliability, mine is a nitemare always something
What a horrible review for one of the best cars that Dodge made. Lay off the the sleeping pills bro
