I tried it, coffee extraction was not enough, the taste was weak with both methods. I made some experiments, so this is my receipt using the immersion method with a great result by an anaerobic natural Ethiopian coffee (which was very difficult to brew successfully with V60): 12 grams coffee, 46 clicks with Comandante RedClix upgrading (same grind scale also for V60), immersion with 195 grams water at 96C temperature, at 2:45 stir with a spoon and opening at 3:00. I had all the beauty of this coffee in my cup, even the fruitiness and acidity. Anyway this video helped me a lot and I thank you very much for it!!
Hi! I love Kurasu and believe they are one of the best coffee roasters in the world, but for the immersion method of the Hario switch using a 1:15 or 1:16 ratio, I highly recommend waiting 5 minutes instead. This gives the coffee enough time to extract all the amazing flavors you would get with a hybrid or full pour-over method. So follow the same method displayed in the video but wait till 5 mins instead of 2 mins. The difference is drastic
One of my favorite coffee equipment (along with Aeropress)! My brew method when using the Hario Switch is water first before coffee though, same as James Hoffmann's clever drip technique. 😆😆😆
Thank you for the video, I enjoyed it. Your presentations with totals etcetera made it very easy to follow the recipe.

Hello Kurasu! I love your videos. How would I convert the hybrid method to an iced version?
😢😂😊
I understood 1 word. Juicy. 😀
