Best not to wrap up all the excess wire behind the dash as this can cause reduction in reception strength.
Best place is in the "A" pillar near the antenna itself.

Mistake 1: Distance of upper anternna to window frame has to be at least 15cm. Mistake 2: Never touch the amplifier contact nor the antenna landing with your finger.
