That double hem looks a lot easier to manage than a binder. I want to give making my own cover a whirl and this helps my confidence. Cheers

I put pics of the hem tool next to a ruler in the community page. Good Luck. -EZ

How many hours to make it?

A bow cover as shown about 4 hours. The cockpit cover takes a full 8 hours using my methods.
Add shop's time spent on quote day, time Betsy spent ordering material and the choreographing of boats in and out of the shop.
My job was to create the best products and keep her updated on completion. A lot of her time was wasted chasing customers. Include this time in your quotes. I have a video called quotes and renders in the Low & Slow playlist.
      Good Luck. -EZ

Can you make one for me? I can send measurements. I just need a cover for the bow

How far below the pin should I measure if I want to double hem and put on binder

The measurement should be the same. I suppose you could shorten it to a 1" double hem, but you'll have much less room for errors when it's time to set snaps.
