What makes your videos and channel so great is the fact it’s relatable to the vast majority. While larger channels are cool to watch not all of us are on that level. Most of us are saving, doing what we can, learning as we go, small garages or dirt driveways. So props to you man.
Looks way better. One of the first thing we usually do after chasing gremlins is clean up and get rid of what we don't need and neatly tuck away what we do. Really cleans the look of any engine bay and makes it so much easier to work on. She's coming right along nice.
I lived in Arizona and used 2 butt connectors under my truck. It didn't take too long for the connectors to get corroded, turn green, and I was left with an electrical issue. Since then all of my connections are soldered, shrink tubed, and covered with plastic wire loom. It takes longer to do but well worth the effort, if you never want wire issues in your car. Keep learning and improving, it's one of the secrets to a great life.
Don't forget, butt connectors are sturdy and they to can break wires with a lot of vibration. I always put soldered wires in a wire conduit and have never had an issue with any vibrations.
Quite a transformation. Lots of sweat equity, not much money. Always love to see " somebody's been here before " in the wiring. Especially when they skip fuses.
Good work.I suggest rubber bungs to close off all those holes.Second get a fender liner installed now that the wiring is passin thru there.Otherwise crap n water will get into the connectors. Also build a shade over that gravelled area where you park your cars to save them some ultra violet radiation!!!
Got to love someone else's bright ideas for wiring. At least there was real wire and not extension cord pieces. A little elbow grease and a few cheap rattle cans will make a BIG difference. Looking good.
You can use a 4 or 3 AN braided brake line for oil pressure gauge , they don't leak of break. Painting radiator core I would think cause more heat to be trapped in it.
Amazing job sorting that wiring result is really good looking. On your fan you can build a circuit to turn it on. For three or four dollars you can buy a temp sensor switch that will ground at a given temp. Plumb it in the cooling system somewhere. Then from there all you need is a 30 amp relay fuse and some wire run a pos from the battery to relay then to switch so when it grounds it closes the relay. Power from bat to fuse to relay to fan to ground to run the fan when the relay closes your done. Run this set up on my 86 Firebird.
You did a great job under the hood of the mustang, it looks beautiful now and I like how you painted it flat black that really makes the motor stand out. Keep up the great work on your videos and God Bless 🔥💯💪🏼👍👍🙏🙏✌
Fuel pump relay is under drivers seat, Wide Open throttle/AC relay is on passenger side near CAI. Check your fusible links, should be 4 that goes to solenoid. Also the ecu has a few grounds, one to negative batt terminal if it’s not butchered and one off of injector harness that goes to firewall. Also there is an ECU relay tucked way up in kick panel above ECU.
This whole "wire tuck" was a joke and half assed, i hope people dont watch this and think this is the way to do things. Ffs dude said it costed him 40 bucks, COSTED!
just got done working on my 72 f100 the trucks all prepped to replace floor pans and the beds all ready to come off just waiting on some friends to come out and help.
Get the air filter to full cold air access. The amount of heat you are sucking in will surprise you. On a 40F degree day my engine / efi was pulling in 80-90F.. imagine that on your 100F days.
Look for a missing ground on the fuel pump.. the first gen fuel injected fords had a ground that went straight to the negative on the battery... I fought one for about 2 weeks after reassembling my 87..... Hooked up the ground and boom it started...smh moment number 305..
You did a amazing job on the wiring looks sooo much better ! I’m hoping your not going to sell it I would love to see you bring this thing all the way back to complete finish .. you do such great work would love to see lots of videos of all of it !! 👍
Nice Vijeo young man, thanks for posting. Sounds like you just need to disable the VATS if it has one ...the chip just needs reflashed. If that is the problem
Coming along just take the rattle can to the hood and the front bumper it'll buy you time before a full tear down proper paint job... also gt ground effects and bumpers would be nasty give it that lower appearance but it's looking good keep it up!!
Nice work Craig. May want to wrap that wire up under the wheel well there but love all you did. Hope you're back on the Galaxy's soon :-) RUclips is covered with foxbody stangs but the Galaxy's are fewer and further between :-) Such great looking cars and with the right motor [talk some about the motors soon please?]. :-) All the Best!
Hey buddy, use motorcraft there is a reason Ford uses it. Look at test they are at the top for quality and not near as much as wix. Seeing it on a motor is a good sighn. Dont fall in to the price hype. Ran them on everything from stock to boosted 800 hp. I also run motorcraft synth oil. Never had a failure.
I don't know if you decide to stay with black for the car but if you were to paint it the viper blue or the sonic blue would look really good on it and you can keep an all black interior and you would be good maybe throw some silver in there somewhere so it ties in the wheels to it but it'll look good
Love the mustang... that hood looks like its been fixed alot of times. Cowl hood looks ok on mustang if it does not have that 2 step style cowl. 1 inch normal cowl would look great in your car... slowly clean it up and make it solid and reliable. A/C is one if the first things I would add after getting the electrical and engine bay sorted, even if I had to use a vintage air setup it would be worth it..
Are you sure that was a speed control for the radiator fan? It looked more like the fan temperature control. I had one like it on a Datsun 30 years ago. Turning the knob changed the temperature at which the fan turned on.
Nice work. I have this engine in my 1990 Ford Ranger extended cab. I'm digging your Ford truck in the background. What year is it? Looks to be between 68 and 70.
If you're going to reuse the radiator it's better to dump the fluid from the lower rad hose rather than the bung. The bung ports have a habit of shearing off the rad tank.
Hey not sure if any told you yet, but your battery install is fire hazard, those cable (positive) should be away from the metal inner fender. just saying hate see you have a melt down., yep cleaned up nicely, at least you have hold downs.
So i actually double checked the oil filter theory about wix and fram, because i remembered actually watching videos about whats inside them before i bought a filter... I have to say i was surprised because i thought fram was pretty decent, but it turns out only the gold ones are of somewhat good quality, the rest is trash. Same with wix the xp line seems to be fine. But alot of the seem to have rust issues.... I will defnetly buy motorcraft in the future
Look on eBay you can get the older traditional or usually seen set of 20 sae/metric gearwrench ratchet wrenches for like $65 and shipping or do what I actually ended up getting the kobalt pro90 20pc ratchet wrenches also off eBay $71 and free shipping only paid tax almost $74 they are much nicer than the original gearwrench ratchet wrench set I used to have the whole set and someone permanently borrowed them,,,grr anyways I was going to replace them because I loved them and it was a early Christmas present from my momma one year,, but I don't think I will I think now I want a nice big set of regular kobalt combination wrenches sae/metric..
I feel bad you dealing with all those cars..I feel like just sending and giving you my 2013 Ford raptor it's all modified with twin turbos and nice pre runner lift

soooo, what happened to those valve covers you made look so pretty?
Most likely too tall for explorer intake. Need a spacer to run taller valve covers than stock
The pcv location was wrong for the gt-40 intake. It puts the breather under the intake which wouldn’t work unfortunately

Quality butt connector's wont corrode and solder can crack in a vehicle with alot of vibrations
Don't forget, butt connectors are sturdy and they to can break wires with a lot of vibration. I always put soldered wires in a wire conduit and have never had an issue with any vibrations.

Thanks Craig this video motivates me to start cleaning up the wiring in my 86 Firebird, starting with the electric fans and the headlight door relays.
Nice job on the engine bay you have a lot of patience, and that hood is looking better all the time, you should keep it on.
Man, I love what you’re doing with the Fox Body! Keep rocking!
When you fist started painting the bay, I was like damn he's shooting it gloss. The bay turned out sweet, fun watch.
Looks good. Really appreciate the care and effort you put into stuff when you do it rather than just slapping it all in there.
You did a great job under the hood of the mustang, it looks beautiful now and I like how you painted it flat black that really makes the motor stand out. Keep up the great work on your videos and God Bless 🔥💯💪🏼👍👍🙏🙏✌

Stock valve covers look badass polished.
Damn! Nice!! Enjoy watching your videos. Especially the ones like these. Keep the Stang! Truck & Race car combo👌🏻
You do awesome work man you don't ever give up you always figure it out.
Impressive, Craig! Always love your video’s. Spray the battery cover black too. Gives bay even more clean look! Cheers, Arnoud from The Netherlands
No grommets in the holes to protect the wire that pass through

Outstanding in just a short time! Ya know you could make this into one helluva Foxbody in a short time. They sell for big money fixed up!
Great to hear from ya bro! Engine bay looks killer. The dinner valve covers didn’t work I guess???
Finned *. Not dinner
fan controller - yellow wire is water temp sensor, green wire is manual on/off switch (or can be used with a/c on/off switch).
Looks great Craig
with obd1 system (make sure your grounds are prefect) that is key for obd1 systems just a tip just get a harness out of a sn95 better wiring system

Wow looks way better than before. I am definitely going to have to do my c10, it has orange overspray all over the place.
What was the overspray from ? Radiator ?
@@omaralvarez5231 nope I someone before me painted it all over orange spray paint

That came out really nice for a few bucks and some time.
Looks good man well done
Back in ‘88, I pulled my 5.0 valve covers and polished them. I should have kept that car..
Turned out awesome!
Starting to look real good. I figured your next daily driver would be your next project car. Keep up the great work 👍

Great job! The car looks tough 💪
Great job! Car looks great under the hood. Lots of work. I'm doing the same thing to my car.
Yes! Please keep the car man. It's amazing.
Looks great man! Nice job for sure and cleans it up! 👍🏻

loving the Fox body content. I may do a Fox body at some point, too.
That is a great looking mustang i just hope you get a pre airbag steering wheel for the car . I thjnk the airbag steering wheel look so ugly
Nice work bro , it came out good . When do you think we will see the F100 get that work done on that leak?.

Craig front bumper and wiper panels r u going to fix them
This turned out very nice. I’m enjoying the fox content. I just bought my first one yesterday. Took me to the age of 40 but I feel like a kid again
See how you got the hose u weld a pipe with holes in it so the water spits out wen its 100 go in it
Love these foxbody videos
Really enjoy your content, I am looking forward to the return to the Galaxie's
Nice man looks great just don't get 1 piece headlights lol 😆
Don’t Sell The Fox So Fast, I Like This Build
What year is your Fox?Nice👍
Lookin Good... Great job engine bay is clean!!
Engine compartment looks great- any chance you can reinstall A/C into it? Seems like it would be miserable driving a black car on hot sunny days…..
Tech Flex makes some great wire wraps that would really clean up that wiring.
Looks good... i miss my 87 gt... :)
That is a wood screw! Lol. Enjoying the video.

When the clutch speaks and the pedal becomes loose feeling but also hard to operate check the clutch quadrant cable. And slave cylinder.
Looks like ya changed your mind on the finned valve covers . Did they not fit ?? Though the were very nice looking .
same thing i was wondering
You keep passing that turd and you’re gonna end up with a really nice car👍👍
Great job keep it up!!!
Definitely diggin the fox Craig
What motor do you have on your f100, I have a 351m/400 but it blew up and I bought a 302 do you think it’s a good swap?
Nice work. I have this engine in my 1990 Ford Ranger extended cab. I'm digging your Ford truck in the background. What year is it? Looks to be between 68 and 70.
Did u check to see if u have power flowing through the fuel pump safety shut off switch. I've had two go bad on me
Loved it mustang cant go wrong
So you stuffed the harness in the wheel well where all the road debris and dirt can corrode it just to look good?
Dang boy u done rubbed the fins of the valve covers lol
I have been using Fram for 40 years never a problem
@@trillrifaxegrindor4411 shut your face your opinion

Put wires out in the wheel well, out in splash and debris danger.
First you gotta paint over the rust so no one sees it
@@Ironwind1972 I get it.. but SoCal car.. rust isn't as big an issue as for the rest of us.
