Ya know it's a Craig video when ya hear the words badass, super stoked, super rad, super pumped. And he talks so fast you can hardly make it out. I think Chuck the duck from street outlaws has him beat on saying badass though. Mustangs are like nipples everyone has 2.
Giving me big boosted motorsports vibe when he started the hellcat swap on his dakota. This will be the series that's gonna blow your channel up. Not gonna lie, I'm kind of sad seeing the pushrod 5.0 go, especially because of how gnarly it sounds. But that's also just me.
Some of us OG's remember w h en you talked yourself into that holy red Galaxy. Loved watching all the body work you did, all the modifications we all learned with you how to do it in your back yard Plz Craig some content on the red shell of a hotrod.
Some advice… take that Gen 1, keep the heads, get a Gen 3 Bottom end and mate the heads to that and put Mustang intake cams (or Gen 2 Mustang cams all around w/ timing components) on it. You’ll gain 12:1 compression from Gen 3 bottom end and you can use a ford racing control pack matching the Gen you use for cams/timing. That setup will sneeze at 800whp which is more than enough for a street Coyote fox build, oh and get it tuned by Lund for the love of god.
yeah this, absolutely. Gotta do something on the cheap to get it running, he's still got shit loads of $ and time to spend on the rest of the car to make it handle and what not, a crazy engine like in his F100 isn't really required right now. Stock parts are easier to source too.
@@cobyfield9237 exactly, most of not all of it is Power by the Hour, Lund racing, and Ford Performance. He’s not making this a full on drag car, it’s a street cruiser which a Gen 3 and a close ratio T56 will suit perfectly as it’s not about maximum horsepower.
@@TanCalHan just the stock compression like the other guy said, I don’t know how Ford lets you go WOT on 12:1 on 87 octane but it does work. I personally never use 87 though and stick to Shell 93.
I love that the bodykit has been fixed and finally looks like a nice kit instead of a half ass racecar body. Hopefully yours doesn't end up getting busted like my 240Z did by some jerk at the grocery store and a runaway kart. Cant wait to see it finished and in paint
Good luck on the complete process! I had a Maier Racing 3" widebody on my coupe / notchback a few years ago. The extra tire width really changes the feel of the car. Between the brakes, suspension, and sticker tires, the Coyote is going to be a lot of fun on the track.
Stoked to see this build not surprised at all to see a JBA kit with as much as you deal with them. Losing that classic FoxBody pushrod rumble is what’s swaying me away from a Coyote swap but that power and reliable efficiency is so tempting, can’t wait to see/hear what you do for exhaust on this future beast. 👍
The best possible guess I can make is he wants to make the 2 most popular driving cars he has the best he can make them as of right now. That being the f100 and the foxbody. After the foxbodies done, I'd almost imagine he'd be doing a lot more galaxie content. I mean the red one (I think, can't remember) is his first car, so it obviously is a sentimental thing that he wants to see done the right way.
Got soft spot for fox body's growing up my dad had one 302 with 5speed. He wanted a wide body but didn't want fiberglass used the mercury Capri fenders and quarters molded the rear wing section into roof of car. Never seen another one like it.
So sick your building this kit and can't wait to see the finished product. BtW spotted the off road lincoln on the 15 freeway Monday, can't miss that car .
I was wondering when you were gonna make this happen. I knew when you videoed the blue one at JBA, you were gonna do one. Stoked to see it come to life!!
I was about to buy an 82 foxbody coupe and swap the engine for the 5.8w thats in my truck. But this, This is gonna be wicked. Can't wait to see it in development!
Btw on your channel since the near beginning.Good to see you progressing.Had been advising you for merchandising since long.Good to see you on it.Youre a hard worker.Kudos and more success to you.Stay humble!
I've never watched any of your videos but this one caught my eye because of the car, I'm 44 years old and from the age of 15 up until now I've owned, tagged and parted out over 24 of these cars from a 1968 fast back up to an 1995 cobra!! My favorite being my 68 fast back and my 86 gt light blue paint Grey interior spotless I love them, my biggest disappointment with Ford is that they never put a aluminum headed 351 Windsor if they would have done that the camaros and fire birds would have never had a chance, that's why I had to build one of them it was completely bad ass anyway you have a new viewer
I don’t like that the molding is one piece. What if you have a 4 eye? I’m putting the Maier kit on this winter. I agree with the guy that likes the oem fox body lines. But… my car in particular is 100% form follows function build. I’ve ran some great autocross times with 255’s but if I want to run with the big money cars I need to go 315 square or 315/335. The wheels I bought (used RPF1’s) have used 315/335 that I’ll run on the street as long as they fit but I’m probably going with 315 square of whatever the current newest hot tire is for ax. This build is exciting as it is very parallel to my own upgrades. I may even finally paint mine!
I like the idea of it as a fan, but you have so many other projects that you’re well into, I’d rather see those get worked on and finished. This is a big commitment and will take up the shop space for months or years.
Hell yes!! The only thing better than a Saleen Mustang is a JBA Dominator! Are you going to put the Capri hatch on it? I'm excited for this build and the $300 coupon for the body kit.
New build is going to be cool. How are u meeting cal. emissions with coyote swap. Will you go into depth on how you’re getting it street legal? I’m getting a lot of push back trying to swap my 86 bronco.
This is going to be the nastiest fox out there. I've watched your 18 hour rebuild of your 302 a few times for inspiration on building my SN95 up to a "period correct" build. I love the push rod, but hearing that coyote scream on the track is going to be great. Thanks for the content!!
I just got my first fox platform(1992 Lincoln mk7 lsc) and I want to do a t5 swap and a cam and leave it alone it and it has a 410 posi in it and it's been de smogged plus it has a nice bbk h pipe to flow master super 40s
Dibs on the old wheels for my mustang lol but I'm loving the content can wait to see how it turns out and I'm looking forward to some more galaxy stuff as well and updates on all the trucks
I was thinking of a Dech body kit on my fox but she needs a transmission swap. AOD no good, torque converter actively trying to die. Might as well T5 swap.
Are those wheels you took off the old 4.50 bolt pattern? If so, I may be interested in buying them. I need a set of wheels and tires for my '64.5 Mustang.
Loved the video man it’s gonna be a beast when you are done. Not sure if you are planning on getting rid of your gen 1 coyote engine but I live in Anaheim and am interested in buying a coyote for my 67 mustang hmu if you want to sell it. Can’t wait to see it finished!
As you probably already know, stock Fox Mustangs have a flexible chassis, crappy rear suspension, marginal brakes, mismatched gear ratios (trans/rear end), and the list goes on. I appreciate that some original examples are tucked away in collections but if you're going to drive it, you'll have to change a bunch of stuff.
Widebody that wide needs a wider axle or absurd wheel specs. Slap on some dummy thick rubber with like -60 ET and you'll be swapping wheel bearings after every track day.

I can not wait to hear the 8 into 1 exhaust, it’s going to sound so mental, especially on the track.
Should use RideTech front upper lower suspension and shave the strut towers to make more room for the new engine and improve the handling.
You're spot on. And you'd think that RideTech would want to cut a deal to someone with media presence for the promotional opportunity.
OMG the relability of a Coyote and the Power it gives you. you are going to love it! Very Excited to see this build

Good luck...I'm not into tearing up a mint foxbody but now it's out of my range.....
Cause I don't have that kind of money or connections you have

You should check and see if Painless Performance makes a drop in wiring harness for the car.
Interesting that you dodnt go with a Maximum Motorsports suspension set up. 🤔
The build looks like fun, I’ll definitely be tuning in for the whole thing. The widebody kit reminds me, from certain angles, of a Lancia Delta.

Do a Dakota dash or holli , Dakota is more of a stock styled aftermarket dash seen on a lot of coyote swaps
G'day Craig, would you happen to know where I could find a 1999 F150 (only, NOT F250, etc) PI aluminium 5.4 2V intake manifold?
Nice. Will we see a fox body version of Bandit, black and gold?

You should put the fox motor in your bullnose
what are you doing with the old motor?
What happened to the truck get a new frame
Gonna be hard to do a 8-1 header exhaust with a Coyote in there, not going to be much space.
Where will you be posting parts for sale
That’s gonna be a great build young man! Keep up the great work and putting out very cool videos
302 boss intake would look good under the hood if it would fit
Now wheres the holley terminator x efi system for the ecu
Stock computer > Holley on a Yote, no reason not to use a stock ECU for mild builds.
Are you going irs in the rear?
302 block in Galaxie?
Don’t listen to the haters! Widebody FTW!! 👍🏼👍🏼🤘🏼
What happened to the 64s
Personally I would have bought a roller fox body and out those parts into it, and had 2 foxes
I say given the theme ditch the coyote and go Voodoo. That motor with an 8 into 1 would be perfection.
What you need got the seats?
Is the old 302 for sale?
I want to see a wide body , imsa style turbo coupe.
Bruh went from thecreg909 to throttle 😂
let me get that whole old drive trane set up
