Fun video. It's nice to see other collectors doing as I have. You find a piece of an outfit on some doll you buy in a flea market and then you find another piece in a big bag of clothes or an old Barbie case you find in another flea market later. It's like a treasure hunt. It feels like I am meant to have that Arabian Nights outfit. I managed to find a dressed Ken in his version of it in a flea market, and I found the skirt for Barbie in great shape on a modern doll in a flea market. So I just need the rest of it because I think it's a romantic fashion and looks very good on both the dolls. But I will have to buy it piecemeal as a treat. It's expensive when you get the pieces on eBay, though sometimes that's the only way to find them. Those vintage outfits are so amazing when you see the detail and the incredible quality up close and personal. But I'm like you, it's hard to spend $20 or more on a little piece of a Barbie outfit, I like to find really good deals. 😊
I so agree, I like the deals, but sometimes I have no choice if I want to complete an outfit. Going on the hunt is fun and exciting. A such a thrill when you find something really good. Thanks for watching and keep finding those pieces.

Hi, you can also add Ken in "Fun on Ice" to your skating Barbie and Skipper, though his outfit is not red and white. But the three look good together in doing the same activity. You really need that Aladdin lamp for your Barbie now! Enjoyed the video.

Love that skipper outfit ... but I would have such a hard time not unboxing stuff ... on the one hand it looks so good in the package, and has more value ... on the other hand, once I had it I don't think I would want to sell it so who cares about value lol!! The Arabian Nights outfit is really cool. I have parts of the Barbie and Ken Little Theater - the backgrounds, some of the furniture, and the book with the various plays and it includes illustrations/ads for the outfits.

Skipper collecting is a cut above barbie collecting - those Skipper clothes are so much harder to find in really excellent condition - I doubt I'll open any of my nfrb Skipper things either (Skipper can get by w/ opened clothing )
Can you do a tutorial on how to remove green ear on vintage barbies? I have a ponytail #5 and side part bubble cut with green ear that I’d love to know how to remove effectively. Thank you so much!!
Sue, for the Ice Breaker ensemble, I just got it on eBay and it is in VGC, but the fur coat is not as white as yours. I was thinking to give it a wash with Oxy Cleaner, but I am scared that the red colour of the insides will run over the white of the outside. Did you clean yours?
I don't remember if I did or not. Probably did though. Soak in in water and white Vinegar. I use about half cup of Vinegar & half cup water. It sets the color so it doesn't run. I have had great success with this. Soak about one hour then do oxy. Watch it closely though.
