She's his sister and unfortunately and sadly she auditioned before him and failed but she is so happy for him what a sweet moment .
Jade, the girl was his sister. She tried out also but didn't make it through, that's why they asked him if he was okay.
Oh it was so weird. Cause it didn't feel like they were dating but she was so invested. Of course they are siblings.

Glad April cleared that up! She was rejected and then Callum came out and she was so distraught but so rooting for her brother and then to have SIMON give him the golden buzzer. EMOTIONAL (even though I know these shows are all rigged - it still got me) Actually it was THIS performance where I first heard the song, then I heard it on the US TV show "Smash" which I LOVED and then PTX broke my HEART with their rendition that felt like a good bye to Avi! Great song and Great reaction as always!!!
ALSO he is gay.
Well he did look real happy!
He had his boyish innocence here and at the time was still struggling with whether he should come out or not. He gained confidence here when he was given support and love from people to finally do it. Joe McElderry did the exact same thing back in 2009, and we see Bryan Justin Crum was a few steps ahead of them but still valued this extra validation from the public. Nice to see the world gaining more acceptance .
Fantastic! I remember watching this. Calum's sister auditioned right before he did. She was desperate to be in the music business and had been practicing nearly her entire life. But, dearest, it was not good. She didn't make it through. She was so heartbroken. So when he came on, I was hoping against hope. He'd only been into music for like three years. Lo and behold--he was awesome! Their mom was happy for him, but still upset for her daughter.
This is one of the best BGT performances...... ever.
If you're a singer and Simon Cowell hit's the golden buzzer after you're performance than you're doing something right, he's extremely critical of vocalist. That was fire! 🔥🔥

His sister, the girl standing with A&D was on just before him and sang rather well but didn't make it. That is why his nerves were shot, though i think it helped him crush the song. Ive been fallowing him since i seen this performance, it was a great season. Song is so powerful
They asked him if he was ok cause his sister just got turned down right before! This is my favorite talet show audition to this day!
Dee, I have to update.... Calum opened for Pentatonix during their latest tour and I saw them in Dallas when I travelled to PentaCon. I had VIP for Calum (I'd already had PTX VIP in 2016) so I got to meet him backstage after he performed. He is the absolute sweetest person. He hugged me 5 times and was just completely genuine and lovely. I've been a fan of his since his audition and when I heard he was opening for PTX it was a dream concert for me. Having PentaCon on top of that was absolutely incredible (PentaCon2020 Coming *Hint**Hint* lol) 💗

And now here is is, singing amazing songs like “come back home”, “if our love is wrong”, and “what I miss most.”
He has a touching video about coming out. Can’t think of the name of it, but it’s pretty emotional. Also, as someone mentioned below, Jade, the girl they show with Ant & Dec, is his sister. She auditioned directly before him and they rejected her. That’s why Alesha asked if he was ok, and he said he was. But I’ve since heard him talk about it and he said he was really upset about it when he walked onstage.
That was the day Calum told the world he was gay. It was his all or nothing hail mary God love him. He is a huge success. Every gay boy and girl around the world felt he spoke for them.
I've had a shitty day today, but your enthusiasm when you react is really wonderful to see. Very contagious. Thank you for putting a smile on my face. :)

Before his audition his sister jade had hers and sadly didn't get through and got some hard feedback that's why ant and Dec were comforting her because she was the one who tault Callum to sing in the first place and it's always been her dream to go on Britains got talent

Calum's sister Jade auditioned first, but didn't make it. She was wrecked. That's why Calum was so emotional. He and his sister are very close.
It’s his sister who sang before him and didn’t make it. That’s why he was so sad when he came out.
They had said he'd never performed in front of large groups or competitions before. I'm not sure. Maybe like small gig s with his sister. Less than 100 people. His sister had to convince him to and boost his confidence to get him to compete

ok let talk about this.. I'm a 43 yearold (from usa), and i'm totally overwieght a262lbs.. about 3 months ago I wieght 345lbs. I was a crummy skater when I was younger :).. so what the hell I bought a skateboard and pull off my 1st true ollie in 25 years// this is the greatest thing I have EVER done in my life.. lost almost 100lbs in 4 months!! fucking go me!

Bear78420 I know him but I prefer James Arthur over him. Plus I really like calum Scott too. But Jahméne Douglas is talented in his own way too. In my opinion , I just thought James Arthur is more talented than him.
