I like more instructional info. I’m a fairly new boater and we have experienced some fails. I’ve already learned some things from watching launches and loads. Keep it coming 😊
If you have a V hull, allow the V under the bow to slide up the center bunks and bring the bow directly toward the bow stop. Once your bow gets close enough to the bow stop, your entire hull should be resting on the trailer lightly enough for you to be able to winch it the additional 2 or 3 feet without any difficulty. No need to race the engine to force it up the rest of the way, you put stress on the transom and may draw a rock or piece of concrete into the prop. Becoming familiar with your hull is the best asset and keep passengers to the stern if they're in the boat when loading/unloading.
From A-to-Z this channel is ever so relaxing, I love when you commentary, I love when I hear your wife in the background or a quick shot of her, just wanted to throw a big thank you to you, shout out to the wifey🤘✌🏻💕😎
Tailgate down - Hatch up; Hi Dan, the wife and I love your channel! You should mention that sometimes when clearance is possible, the short trailer folks can drop tailgate or lift rear hatch so they can see their trailer. It helps when backing a shortie and when backing down a steep ramp. Also, when loading the boat, a lot of exposed outboard folks can glance back to check motor direction before whacking the throttle. Cheers and plugs in, JW from K.C.
I love the drone shots of the boats approaching the trailers! You do a good job of showing the regular video plus a drone shot of the same loading…great skills!
Hey Dan & Fam, thanks again for sharing the boat ramps with us, soooooo different from my life over here, love it! I enjoy the mix you’ve got right now of your water-side view and the drone shots. Looking forward to your video on how to enter/exit the ramps properly & quickly 😊, jan.
6:12 I personally like the drone and the regular video! I’m going to by a boat soon so this helps me see a multitude of boats and it helps me learn what to do and what not to do! I love the content! Thanks you!
Love the drone footage, just keep doing what you're doing. The white Ram with the jet ski, I guess you quit backing down the dock when the water is in your lap. Lol!
"watch the white truck".....I just stared at that Dodge bringing in the jet ski the whole time. The tripod camera btw is what I'm digging, some cool action shots with the drone add effect tho for sure! Love the channel man, keep it up.
Good show Dan, I watch several different boat ramps but I'm glad I found this one that is local with boats and people I have seen before. LOL Just wonder how long it will be before I see myself on here. I use Mahogany Mill ramp 90% of the time. As far as drone video vs still camera... I like the combo of both views. Keep up the good videos.
The drone gives us accurate depth of field. When you think a trailer is about to back into another vehicle, you watch from overhead and realize it is 100 yards away. But it is the close shots that give us an intimate view of the personalities of the people, and this is what is most important to many. So a good balance of both is best, and you seem to be doing it very well.
Thanks for keeping your videos cleaner overall. I can watch them with the whole family. Some things are unavoidable I get that but love the drone footage, the fails and your commentary is usually spot on! #intoodeep
I appreciate the drone shots as well as the regular footage. The perspective of the docks, the truck/trailers at the dock - positions in the water and such. thank you! (the drone shadow...thought it was a fish for a second 🙂)
Keep doing what you're doing. It's good content. 8:50- It's very hard to back-up small trailers that you can't see. He needs to put an orange flag on that trailer so he can see it over the tailgate.
Your videos are done very well the drone footage is nice for the viewers but probably causes the boaters to get angry I personally would like to see more fails and pretty women
Wife & I really enjoy your videos while having morning coffee. The drone footage is interesting but you have a good view without it so we are neutral. So you mean there is some “not family friendly events?” Now that sounds like it would be interesting!
Love watching your videos. Crazy how many people do not have any boat etiquette! My family has a boat and jet ski, we are not able to go out this year due to our sick grandmother. So watching your videos helps with missing the water not the people!!!
Variety shots, drone and ground is the winner. BOTH!!. The keeping it clean? No thanx, censorship is twice as perverted as the material that it eliminates.
I think you do a good job with the videos I do like the drone but it’s up too you how much footage from the drone but I think what your viewers really want to see is big Dan himself showing us how it’s done launching and loading . Looking forward to more great videos 👍
I'd love it if you could catch some drone footage of that pontoon-looking boat with 700HP, dual 350HP outboards, while it's out on the water. I bet the bow of that boat is pointed 45 degrees in the air at full throttle!
Watching these boat ramp videos is like a trip to the zoo. Just like watching a whole bunch of monkeys trying to have relations with the proverbial football
A good balance of both. Drone shots sometimes give better coverage of what is happening. It also gives an overall idea of the area which is interesting if not familiar with the area.
You know back in the day (70-80’s) my dad and I had to take a boater safety course before setting sail, in MD (35ft Catalina sailing boat). Is that not a thing now?
I call the drone skeeter. When skeeter goes up and out it’s about to go down. So combo of drone and video from camera at your location is fine with me. And before I forget….the audio is hilarious sometimes by people on video. That’s important also. Good audio from time to time when possible due to wind.
Drones - love 'em, have a Mavic 2 Pro. Footage I would like to see is overhead of the good and bad final moments. I see a 80% - 90% 2D & max 10 - 15 % drone.
Folks don't realize smaller trailers are harder to reverse and Not for everyone. Also surprised there isn't a more tech trailer using magnets, sensors, ect... Love the drone addition. Wish someone would do a planned educational video in real life situation. Wind, currents, algae on ramps, ramp angles, docks, timing, Etiquettes that may vary from place to place and Substantive reviews on ramp site conditions. Could even have a website with info networked to different places of interest. Could also have best times to or not launch.
after that 1st boat I knew what kinda day it would be...... 1st boat has a flag on top blowing hard to the left of the screen & that's bad for a lot of these boaters especially the PonTooN CarTuneS !! Hey, I just "coined" a new type of boat show starring the pontoon people, a hearty walmart crowd.... or not? A 1st for me in seeing the Twin 350's on a Pontoon style boat... That's a lot of motor but there must be more to that than the average pontoon?? peace
Your zoom shots give enough details as far as I'm concerned. The drone is an added expense to you that I don't think gives you a feasible return on your investment. Also, some folks may consider it to be a bit invasive if they spot it directly over head or nearby. Just my thoughts.
More drone footage...hell i might even pitch in some on a new drone if we can get other subscribers to do it, too!!! ....more drone and more bikini's 😂😂
Interviews of what’s goin thru the boaters minds when loading the boat on the trailer and how they prepare for it on a week to week basis. Kinda like a pro athlete 😂😂😂😂😂 ask why did you choose to make that bonehead move questions
I've found the easiest thing to do in the boat is to drive it in a straight line. On that ramp there must be a right to left water current and/or a slight right to left breeze that is causing many to 'struggle'. Sorry, I'm maybe being just a little too analytical, but it can get a little frustrating watching the 'show'.
Your drone footage is excellent. I love the way you edit the aerial footage into the video. The best part was seeing the drone in the long shot, sneaking up on the 700hp pontoon. The ladies looked and as soon as they said something to the captain the drone was up and out of there. You must have a blast doing this, keep it up. P.S. you could do a side channel on the interaction of shorts, body geometry and gravity.
Since I'm not a boat person, maybe a little more comments on what they are doing wrong. The drone footage would be better if there was some more shots in front of the boat heading in or out. It just would give a better view than what the camera does. Some times the camera and the drone shows pretty much the same views.
I personally think its hilarious when you see someone having some difficulty and then you hear the drone fire up and take off lol
I found it really funny that the drone pops up at 8:20 ready to catch the boat almost fall off the trailer
I like the aerial shots that are directly above the boat and trailer so you can see how crooked or off center they are coming in.
At 11:00, I just love it when people give the driver backup hand signals. I’m not watching you …. I’m watching my mirrors.
Also Dan I'd like to say that out of all the boat shows we watched on RUclips yours is the best
Thanks my friend. Much love
Great video again. Need to call the Jeep ladies out they are comical to watch. 😂
I like more instructional info. I’m a fairly new boater and we have experienced some fails. I’ve already learned some things from watching launches and loads. Keep it coming 😊
Use the winch that's why they put it on the trailer
If you have a V hull, allow the V under the bow to slide up the center bunks and bring the bow directly toward the bow stop. Once your bow gets close enough to the bow stop, your entire hull should be resting on the trailer lightly enough for you to be able to winch it the additional 2 or 3 feet without any difficulty. I like the drone showing the launching and loading of boats. So far, so good !
Can't miss the true patriots with an American flag as big as their boat! 4:58 why would a barge require two engines like those?
That pontoon with the twin 350's is just what grandma needs, out here in AZ!
you do a great job Dan, but the hotties are always a welcome site!!
'Jack-knife jet ski' follows 700 hp of 'never done this before'
Love the drone footage!
@11:00 was a perfect drone shot of the misalignment. Out of all the other channels I sub to I think you’re the only one using a drone. 👍
I'd like to see interviews with the incompetent people after.
Show them the footage then, "Let's talk about this."
Lmao
Drones are great when looking at cool boats and pretty ladies!
I like the drone shots. Gives your videos a better overall angle and look.
Pretty ladies are always a good thing to see. There's nothing wrong with that!
Drone footage is cool too.

Truck slipping in the water.😂 And more DR1 footage.
Love the drone shots

All of thee above. ❤ it all
Did they back that (blue) pontoon trailer in the same exact spot when they loaded it?
The secret to boat happiness- 1. Put in before everyone else. 2. Get out before everyone else. Don't join the sheep rush.
