Hey, good afternoon, I'm trying to make payments is it possible to speak with you, might not be for long can't afford mentorship 😢😢
Just bought the course can't waif 😊... your video was the first I watched when I started learning UI/UX design, got the link from a friend, now I'm.buyign your book I hope and pray I get a job. I did get jultiple certifications and joined bootcamps (since 2021 though), Google UX design, iBM agile Intro, Design pal, women Techsters funded by Microsoft. Just hoping your book is a holy grail. 😊😢
This video was just what I needed as I was starting to get really discouraged! Thank you so much for the insight about the future potential leadership positions if AI takes over. I'm feeling more hopeful!
This is the most polite video I've seen online ever. I don't even know who this girl is but she's so sweet. Her energy is so polite. This video screams polite and gentle
Nice 🎉
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Very helpful!
I recently managed to finally land a very good job as a ux designer but it took me close to two years. During that time l did a hackathon and two contact work that were several months long. Also the job I got is hybrid and I would say remote jobs are harder to find.
Also For self taught courses I highly advise MaleWicz and designcourse. Affordable and taught me Figma and design from 0
Malewicz is the best!
Michal Malewicz for low income zero experience ux design passionates is like Jesus for Christians😂
@@amirhosseinhosseinzadeh7627 thats true!
@@amirhosseinhosseinzadeh7627which is the best you can recommend..
@@amirhosseinhosseinzadeh7627does malewicz teach from basics.. where can find his course?
This is a video that's full of honesty and openness❤I wish I could like this video multiple times.
A lot of RUclipsrs wont come out to say such truths.
Thanks Sharon
And for someone who's getting into UI/UX, this is the best advice I need to be encouraged❤
I’m soo glad to hear this
Wishing you all the best ❤️❤️
This video is quite helpful, thank you so much
Great video. Good advice. I think it’s ok to specialize in growing fields like AI and accessibility especially with the aging population. Your tips helped me land a ux job +2 years ago. Thanks again. I’m looking to move more into ux in ai 🙌
How do you like ux design? What software do you use the most in that field?
@@af6744 I enjoy it. I work for a large corporation. Unfortunately we use Sketch. Everyone wants to move to Figma but I think there’s a licensing/security concern
I’m interested in this route as well !
What would be a good way to move into UX with ai?
Thank you Sharon, insightful as always 💖
Thank youuu
Great to see you again 👏👏. Great insight as always
Thank you so much
so well explained and articulate. Thank you Sharon
Thanks friend ❤️❤️
Just what i needed❤❤❤
Always amazing and super helpful. I was on the edge of giving up. Seems like I've been trying to move into the field for last couiple of years now. But this video has given me some hope. You have to keep on going.

Just started a course and was lookin on the ux sub reddit and saw so much about how bad the market is layoffs etc.. Automatically got discouraged! Your video is what i need to see/hear today!
So glad to hear this! You’ve got this
same here reddit had me super discouraged. Thankful for this video

Very on time word. Thank you!
You are so welcome
Thanks for the tips, boss. 💯
Any time!
Shit I’m too deep into the career switch. I can’t stop now lol
thank you, helps me a lot. I get scared easily when facing job applying. People had been saying it was the worst time to get into ux design field. I flinched and ran to apply PM. after a month of searching and interviewing, I remembered why I determined to be a ux designer. I'm so stressful if my life as my dream career not happening,I'd need a lot of money to build a second choice of life. And it turned out impossible if I dont even love my life. I'll be brave to hunt my first ux designer job. ❤
As usual, very helpful video.
Glad to hear!
I completed the Cousera Google UX Design Certification…. I have my portfolio with three projects. I currently applying for entry level positions. While building my UI skills. I apply for internships with my certification but they want college students. What the best way to get my foot in the door?
Thank you! This video was exactly what I needed to see today.
PS: unrelated but your skin is SKINNING!!!!!!
Please what does SKINNING mean?
Thank you so so much!!
@@Jennifer-Ihuomait means it’s giving what it’s supposed to give.
Thank you So much for sharing this Sharon... I'm currently in the "working for free" stage 😅😅
You got this!
Hi! Thanks for the video. Do you have a video talking about AI vs UX designers? If not, could you talk more about that?
The market is so hard right now... I was one of those affected at the beginning of the year with the layoffs and it have been so difficult to get up.
Just hang in there, you'll soon get another job. Just stay positive, keep searching for, keep showing up.
You’re awesome ❤
You too!!
I liked how clear and articulate you were. Thank you for a great video
Me watching this 4months into my bootcamp 👁️👄👁️
Hi Mrs Sharon I'm a really big follower of yours but I really need clarification on a lot of things
Hi, great video and thank you for sharing these tips. Are you still doing mentoring or 1:1 for the UX design career path?
Yes, she is
And I thought it was hard a few years ago!
With your 1:1 mentorship do you give guidance on figma, like assist with making certain buttons or prototypes interactive and how often or how many times can someone or a student do a 1:1 with you ?
Yes absolutely, we can go over anything you need help with. You can book a call here > www.coachli.co/sharononyinye
Also you can book as many times as you would like
Hey girl thank you for the video. I’m actually taking coursera courses for UX design but starting to question if this is for me. I feel overwhelmed with the course
I am starting the course soon how is it going? Are you still doing it?
@@BrandiO-ys4it yes I’m still doing it. I am on course 5 right now.
Thanks ma , do you have a wasap group I can join ?
I am planning to dive into the world of product design, kindly see me through step by step guide to attaining this
I’m currently using a free bootcamp and I’m looking to upgrade to the paid version which is 75$
What course are you taking, if you don't mind me asking?
@@MarquittaDenise UI/UX
What kind of bachelors degree would you recommend? I’m open to several options :)
Which ones are you open to?
Didi uxui desing kaise kre
I know you said, don’t consider a bootcamp but what if it’s free would you do it? A bootcamp would help me stay focused and have a learning structure
I'd take a free bootcamp opportunity anytime, I'm pretty certain she'd advise that too.
Definitely
If you have the opportunity to take a free one, please do
Have you done freelance yet
Will AI replace ui ux designers job ?
AI will not replace designers. A designer will have an easier job if he learns to use these tools. AI does not know the context of tasks, it will not be able to create very complicated and correct mockups. The designer will have to watch and correct.
@@Yuukinea Ahmm Thanks ✨
