I just scored a 2012 GT 6R80 in Ingot Silver today for $11850 all in, its completely stock, even has the sound tube. Probably owned by some old man who garaged it and took care of it. Not a single spec of rust underneath except for on the exhaust. It was cheap because it has 165K miles on it. Now I have 3 Coyote vehicles and an old 88 Pontiac Firebird 5.7 lol
I agree 100% I don’t understand why the Mach E wasn’t a Hybrid, that makes more sense to me!
High mileage C5s are 10k and under, my personal choice of road race car. All the maintenance it would already need is basically track prep stuff anyways
My first “hpde” i road along with an instructor for two laps to learn the track and etiquette, we had a short drivers meeting to learn the flags, and then i had 5+ 20 minute sessions at my own pace. Every organization will be a little different but the value proposition for the amount of seat time was great. 10/10 would recommend. Im hoping to take my gen 2 out to try it again next week!

Yup, Ford actually has a nice hybrid in the “PowerBoost.” 430 hp and 570 tq. That would be a rocket if they could put it in the mustang.
If volkswagen went hybrid tdi it would probably get around 100mpg and be relatively fast

Alex, on the GM side, they have a process for warrantying engines in performance cars and diesels. The way it works is there is a list of 10 pids. There are two numbers associated with each flash of the computers, the software ID and the verification number. The verification number is populated based on some black magic hidden in the program that trips a list of ID’s that are associated with non-OEM calibrations. You send an email of those numbers to GM and they respond with what Calibration is factory and what’s not, then the approval or not of the claim.
Forgot to add, the reason there are so many pics and traces of previous calibrations is to prevent people just flashing a stock tune back in for warranty. They also ask questions if there are 10 flashes of identical ID’s of both the software and verification. Even updated cals for recalls or updates have different ID’s. So 10 cals of the same software and verification… GM has asked questions in my case at the dealership.

Keep in mind had 300 miles. Mine Exhaust Cam Bank 1 would fall out just driving down the highway. Then all the other cams would be commanded home then go back to normal.
