checking out a few things here: 1) dragon strike is best done with a tall character 2) claymore characters seem to have easier time pulling it off 3) weapons with fast attack animation like sword and polearm is difficult to use for dragonstrike, even if the character is tall 4) bow characters most likely cannot pull this off because they hit from arrow and don't get the hitlag fun fact: i remember there being a time when dragonstrike was only able to be pulled off by selected characters and you didn't needed to hit any enemy to do it, it was just a click, space and plunge in right timing
@@RogerNbr if its the xiangling one, im not sure you could call it a footstooling, first the character that im using is xiangling, which is considerably a short character, second the enemy is not something that you can footstool on(?), please correct me if im wrong

This concept was indroduced in genshin from 3 years and today i am watching it after playing genshin for 1 year. No one is talking about it. Thanks for the info , it is pretty much helpful for diluc main.
I remember one time last year ago I was using Lumine Geo for the 1st time and I got certain characters that goes on the rock and jump attack all the time for a nice Jump attack damage and easy method to do it without Venti or Kazuha. Lumine Geo is my perfect partner to do that. This Dragon Strike stylish looks smooth as hell and its my 1st time witness it as well. :) I came here because like you I too am Diluc main and I got him last year. You earn the sub because u too also discover something that no one haven't try out yet which is cool. ;) DGDScarlet is my name and I am Genshin Impact player too, nice to meet you. ^__^
u can do it with any character, but its just a matter of how difficult its going to be, its been soo long since i've covered this topic, but i believe i even did it with xiangling.
I tried for the first time and used a tree, it was horrible and I was horrified how difficult it is, because I maybe did it once every 15 tries XD Then I tried with a Whopperflower and that was much better and way easier and I could hold actual combos xD Thank you so much, it's really helpful, and I learned how to hop as well since I didn't know you do right click and then space !!! ^^ I main Itto so it would be such a shame not to try to learn as he's a tall claymore xD
nice..imo the right click is way better than shift so thank you for that. So far, pairing it with 2 anemo really helps. I can even do it in the rocks tbh and when you listen to the swooshing, you can actually time it like a rhythm-like sequence (idk too much rhythm games and spending time in tekken helped me to get it and watching some guides really helped me allot) > done it for 9x already so great vid thankyou
I did it. I have tried it out, without using 2 anemo, or diona, or claymore. I tested ut on Zhongli, Kazuha, Heizou, Lisa, Tighnari & Yaoyao, it worked. You just need some practice.
Is it just me or does it seem easier when fighting certain enemies? I've done it on some hilichurls. Doing it on ruin guards seems to be the easiest for me. Although, I can't for the life of me pull it off on a tree.
there is some enemies that could give you much easier experience for doing the dragonstrike, for example if you hit a big hilichruls that is using shield. i have forgotten what its called, but there would be a bigger frame for you to do the dragon strike if you hit enemies with shield
I finally did it ....but man the timing is really hard...like out of 20 times I got like maybe 1 or 2 times...and plus am using Sayu... Edit: funny thing is it's easier with with Jean cause she has anemo resonance and she has legs for days...I don't have Diluc so am just practicing for when I get him

as for the fact, for time to time it happend to me aswell, i never thought to call it dragon strike since it never hit, but idk what to call that xD
the second technique you're describing was called footstooling btw

imagine xiao mains doing dragonstrike
Satisfying but hard to do
The shorter character is the harder it is, so Xiao… heh
yes and they absolutely do need to know how to dragon strike, especially with their elemental burst
Yeah the e and then plunge combo kinda helps but I don’t think that counts as a dragonstrike
I would love to learn, but first I will have to master it normally-
(I'm a Xiao main btw-)
As a controller player one thing i can say is
W h a t
Well said
Same
r2->r1->x->o
it's pretty easy to do on controller too
@@mymsoup i’ve moved around my buttons, I’ve only been playing for a month, what moves exactly do I have to do to do this?
this is pretty great and informative :0
Thanks!
Yo that e skill dragonstrike is clean as heck
if u want to dragonstrike with xiao use his ultimate its so easy you just have to press spacebar
Wow I never knew
You are the only person who pointed out the timing for dragogstrike in this guide

i relate, such politeness only can come from a diluc main 😃
@@Edgard28Fe Fact because he was either 1st or 2nd character I got from the start of the game.😁
with the spears it is better to cancel the charged attack animation (and its very easy, you just jump in the middle of it)
After this tutorial I was able to donit twice in testing ill keep at it thank you
I know I’m a bit late to the party here, but I just did it with Jean against a tree on mobile somehow and am convinced I will never get it again

Nice video it helped me
Glad to be!
Bro is looking at Genshin like a fighting game.
This was really well made. Thanks!
I'm gonna use that on Sayu once I finished her artifacts.
the shorter the character, the harder it is
Imagine hu tao mains, doing dragon strikes after skill
I don't Diluc but is going to worked some day
Thats why I keep jumping with a few dragonstrikes in between.

So on hit confirm/blockstun, you jump cancel from a dash cancel in a piano/plink motion, all while having SPD +10%. Did I get all that right?
Tysm, i kept doing it with shift. No one told me that.
Can you do this with any character? You did it with a tall male, but what about Jean?
I also did it with xiangling, in short, yes you can, but you would be having a hard time to pull it off
Xianyun enters the chat
nice i dit it now thanks to you, thanks you
Thanks man , hu tao dragon strike incoming

I think I wait for Xianyun. i tried this so many times but I can’t get to perfect it. I think it’s probably easier on pc then on ps5
i recently have an old account that i continued, and i lost to diluc, and i accidentally did this at tea pot is it possible without enemy?
I didn't know this is a thing I always do this when I got my razor lol
now im confused.. is it hit lag or head lag 😂
How do I do it on phone?
I can't believe they didn't patch this
Thank u soooooo much
good tutorial. best dragonstrike tutorial on this platform
Dunno who needs to see this but you don't need two anemo chars to do this!
indeed! but the chance of hitting those dragon strike surely increased with it
Does it need to be done on a ruin guard? Or can it be done to any enemy
Another tip, tall characters are easier to dragonstrike. Also search how to foot stool.
I'll try the right click because ive been using shift and its really hard.
lmao it only took me 10 mins. to learn but its hard to maintain multiple strikes if you dont time it right 😭
I GOT IT IN ONE TRY!!!!! but after that, its kinda like 50-50 chance lol need more practice~
Almost impossible to do without speed boost =(
No dragonstrikes for me I guess
Did ping effect the hitlag?
play the video at 0.25 speed
masterd it in 7 min
I tried and is really hard for me as a mobile player😅
It’s very easy to dragonstrike whopperflowers on mobile. You can practice with them.

how you can do that? you don't have movement speed buff
by having rosaria (also at night), or 2 anemo, or diona's E, you can have a movement speed buff
you are in the daytime. god of dragon strike
@@koontoza0127 as i said, you could get a movement speed buff by having 2 anemo character
oh didn't see you have 2 anemo.
I think you dragon without any. because I can't do that
Does this works on mobile?
Yes, but it's even harder to do
😩🤌🤌🤌🤌 Thank you babeee u made my dayyy I'mma try it on my c5 diluc and see if I can do it or not

Yes but really hard
Does It still Works? O-O
