      That's why only Mono and Melt are encouraged, unless you have C2 Jean or C6 Amber.
      Mono for the obvious reason while Melt has a properly working setup and rotation, which practically works just as traditional Melt, albeit harder execution.
      As long as your Dragonstrike timing isn't off (Either staying mid air for too long or doing it too soon) you wouldn't have trouble finding the right timing.
      It all comes down to muscle memory.

      It's the opposite for me.
      Finding the right time is easy, but pulling of the Dragonstrike is the tricky part.
      When I manage to pull 3 consecutive Dragonstrike, rest of the combo always do what I intended.
      Probably because I have used to playing Diluc Melt so I kinda know the Cryo & Hydro application
      I run Bennett, Diona, Rosaria for melt and Kokomi, Diona, XQ for Vape btw.

    EDIT: I DID IT FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!!!! AND I DID LIKE 10 OTHER TIMES AFTER THAT!!! I'm so happy, I never did it before and I tried WAY HARDER than I did now! I just didn't get it before. The "press shift a little before jump" tip and showing the actual N1 frame where I need to dash+jump made all the difference. Thank you so so much. I'll keep practicing now that I know it's possible for me :")

    Maybe i can do better in PC once i get it. Dragonstike is so painful to do in mobile for me. I can do it fine on stationary targets like ruin guards. But when it comes to abyss, I can't do it reliably enough for it to be a DPS increase. Missing just 1 dragon strike is a massive DPS loss.
    Like you mentioned in previous video, I think you should add that you cant dragonstrike when you are inflicted with cryo in this guide. I didn't know about this before and tried practicing it in abyss 7-1 that gives additional movement speed buff, but there were also cryo hili shooters who'd inflict me with cryo. I had no clue on why i couldn't dragon strike there at all even though i did everything correctly, until I observed that the attacks were very slow for some reason. Only much later did I learn about this.
    Got my c6 Diluc today BTW!!!! YAAAAAY!!!

    Do you have to hold dash and jump like you do? Wouldn't pressing them just work? What's the benefit of holding them?

    • @cavernman4739
      @cavernman4739  2 месяца назад

      Yes and No.
      You don't have to hold the Dash Button but you do need to Hold the jump button because you don't immediately gain Height for Plunge so it's necessary to hold the jump button.
      There's also the benefit to allow you to do High Plunge instead of Low Plunge the longer you hold the Jump button.
      In some cases, Enemies (Generally Tall Enemies or those float like Pyro Lectors, ASIMON, and those Black Swordmans) can slow down character from gaining height because they collide longer with your character, so Holding the Jump button would massively help in this scenario.

    Hello, thank you for this guide. I have a question about Dragonstrike on different enemies. For some reason with outworld's ASIMON and outworld's Maguu Kenki is much harder to perform Dragonstrike than to do the same with Abyss Doggos at 12-1-1 while with Funguses at 10-1-1 is literally impossible to do that. Why there is such difference? Does enemy's size/height/floating state matters for Dragonstrike?

    • @cavernman4739
      @cavernman4739  Год назад +2

      Hello!
      Only ASIMON is indeed "harder" to execute in OW as it afloat in the beginning, starting after it first use camouflage, it'll the same as in Abyss.
      Rest of the mentioned works just the same as in Abyss.
      Yes, enemies that afloat is harder to Dragonstrike as their Hitbox can "Block" Your character from gaining height.
      Refer to the "advanced Dragonstike" Section in which I mention a workaround for such enemies (including those with Janky hitbox like ASIMON, Aeonblight, TM) that is harder to execute normal Dragonstrike consistently.

    even with guide, it still never works here
    but I guess it heavily depends on your pc performance, in a certain way like that stupid echoes set does

    • @cavernman4739
      @cavernman4739  Год назад +3

      I have tried and test in every possible scenario, and I can guarantee that connection doesn't affect Dragonstrike at all.
      Though Device performance indirectly affect it through tighter Frame windows, it is still doable and Managable through memorization.
      There are case where people actually find Dragonstrike easier to do in lower FPS (30) in fact.
      Unlike Echoes that tied to the Game server (which is why low Ping matters, because having low / fluctuate ping means delayed DMG which tied to the server hence delayed effect of the artifact), Dragonstrike tied *directly* to the core gameplay in real time that has no bound to connection at all.
      If you aren't convinced, in many of my Dragonstrike runs, I occasionally face delay from high ping, sometimes accompanied with stutters. It's nor because I'm used to it, it's simply because connection and Ping doesn't affect Dragonstrike one bit (just Like Keqing twin blink worked)

      Yes, by prolong holding the Jump, it enables you to jump higher to certain extent.
      The height and how longer you can jump (from keep holding Jump button) is determined by how precise your Dragonstrike is.
      On side note, you can still prolong holding Jump, regardless of your Dragonstrike timing when facing enemies that can support footstooling (Slimes, Regisvine, Mitacurl, the back of ASIMON just to name a few)
