Keith I'm so grateful for you being on RUclips to help especially me with my S430, and ML500, all your information has been correct. I watch no others, now I'm without both rides was told the S430 needs computer modular was told have to go to Mercedes dealer, want stay started, 2000 nice car, but been putting much money into it, the box under the back seat, fill with water been replace twice, now this, now had back brakes put on the 07 ML500 it will go for about 30 minutes shut off in the street anywhere a guy that's works on Mercedes kept it for a year to try to fix this couldn't find anything, want to buy it, now it want crank both in the yard HELP!!! not working now, shop is out of ⁉️ Thanks
Salute Keith. Good luck to you. We have all been there before. You are truly a surgeon. Waiting for the next video, for you to come out successful. Thx for sharing.
@@iRepairAutos Hi Keith! I enjoy and appreciate all of your videos. What should I do if my Ml350 is starting to take a long time to start. It's starting to crank cold at least 5 seconds. But once hot, it starts fine.
I have a 2008 ml550 and it leave me on the road, i recently change the fuel pump and now it reads quarter of a tank when is empty. So my gauge is not working properly
Hi my brother.... watching from the Bahamas...I have a Mercedes ML350 2007. It takes 4 or 5 tries before the jeep starts...once it starts it runs just fine.. hoping I don't have a fuel pump or filter problem. I don't drive the car every day and it started after going away for 10 days....any ideas? Thanks
I guess your ML350 does not report having a Fuel Mgt module... else it would directly read the actual line pressure (as in E350/'14). Normally we can hear pump priming shortly during key-On... A good TIP when the pump brushes are getting too short: bang the tank with your foot then safely drive on side roads. 🤗
1. Bridge fuel pump relay. Listen through the fuel filler neck if you can hear the pump running. No ? Then you won’t get fuel pressure. 2. Check voltage at pump connector (relay bridged) Power / ground ok ? Yes - Renew pump. No ? Check wiring.
Maybe... i trust the gauge and the scanner though. I also know how much gas is in the car. Looking at the tow receipt they charged me $2.00 for gas. I think they tried that.
Hi Keith, I have a 2010 ML350 which died on me about 3 Weeks ago. I hope you can help me fix it. A week before it died, there were some day where it will start when insert the keyfob. It was not making connection for the it to even crank. After putting the keyfob in and out, it will eventually recognize it and then start normally. I have checked all the fuses and everyone is fine. I even test the battery it’s also at 12.1V. I thought the keyfod needed to be cleaned so I open it and cleaned inside the case. Since then, I have not been able to start my car. Can you please help or give me some advice as to what I can do. I am leaning towards having to purchase another keyfob since I bought it with just one keyfob from a Friend who passed 2 years ago. Thank you and I love your videos. It has made a mechanic out of an IT expert.
You can verify with Keith- but this could be the motor in your steering wheel lock sensor. The bad part is that even if you can repair it yourself with a new motor- you have to take it to Mercedes to have it programmed. Assuming thats the actual problem you are running into.
I Keith love your video’s they are a life saver. I have a 2008 ml 350 and the alternator died on me on the high way .i had it toed to the house and I put in 2 new batteries and new alternator but now I have no power, I check all the fuses and they are all good I been checking them for days now now I’m stuck can you please help me .(fellow yard/ Bostonian, big up your self.)
No not after I installed the 2 battery & the alternator & that is why I stuck cause I know nothing about the electric all fuses seen fine so I’m thinking maybe I need help
Im not sure if you two linked up outside of this thread but did you reset it after the battery install. Let the windows down hold for 3 sec up hold for 3 sec also do the same to the sunroof. How did you install the battery I know the battery in a benz is not installed the usual way. You have to make sure all electronic are off,etc etc follow the manual for the install. Im no expert. I know your comment is 9 months old but let me know what was the issue and how you resolved it please.
Hello my car (w203) 2007 C350 4matic is doing the exact samething BUT when I leave it in the position right before I try to start it for 5 minutes or longer it start right up. Its been doing that for 3 weeks now. Im getting codes 2006 intake manifold runner control stuck closed bank 1 a, 303 cylinder 3 misfire detected, 335 crankshaft position sensor A circuit, 410, 455, 300.The first set of codes I received was the 2006,300, and the 455. I went out and purchased a crankshaft sensor, but didnt put it on bc I got a bit intimidated by the process. My car start after doing exactly what your car is doing but the wait time is getting longer and longer. Surprise the last 2 cold days here in florida it started right up without me having to wait. However I decided to take it to a shop, but I got scared when they told me they would have to remove my back seat to check the fuel pump. They dont need to do that to see if it is bad. Im also afraid now bc it was starting of course when i went to them yesterday but they had to do something to make it do that, and then when I was driving home yesterday the rpms were going up and down and hadnt down that before. Oh the other thing that it was doing prior to me taking it to a shop was the flashing "gas cap open", but the cap was closed.Im at my wits end. I bought this car cash during my grief. I now want to sell it and get my money back, because clearly I cant afford to keep it. Help please!
In germany used taxi mercedes diesel . People visiting germany is beatifull car people think if used for taxi is for many mille but here is is different no give wrong is machine precision but need strong is to much I Lerner very much thanks
Hi, I think it is the common issue that the fuel level sensor failure, maybe in gas filter or pump side. You know, three are two tanks and level sensors. Although gas meter shows three is still some gas, but it already runs out of fuel. My w251 has met this issue.
My car after stop the ac blower still working and blowing air so I decide to disconnect the blower to save battery and bought a new blower with the resistor as the resistor looks bad and woola it works my is 08 ml350

That's correct. ICarsoft doesn't report that module.
mine will drive 15 min then dies but if I wait an hour it starts back up what could it be
1. Bridge fuel pump relay. Listen through the fuel filler neck if you can hear the pump running. No ? Then you won’t get fuel pressure. 2. Check voltage at pump connector (relay bridged) Power / ground ok ? Yes - Renew pump. No ? Check wiring.
Did you tried just putting some gas in it, look like the gauge sensors are dead, maybe the tank is empty dry
I hadn't thought of that. I did check the voltage coming from both left and right sides of the tank. The level sensors are reading fuel.
@@iRepairAutos dont forget to try simplest thing first your sensor is misreading fuel, open circuit

Yes. I understand that issue. I've seen it before. Trust me, I wish it was that. Unfortunately it's not. I know how much gas was in it.
Fuel pump malfunction

Voltage regulator is the problem.

Maybe just bad luck or a bit suspicious that your daughter was driving when it happened, maybe flooring the gas pedal too often blew out the pump lol
