That is just BS. I have been using iPhone since iPhone 4. My wife was on android before switching to iPhone when iPhone 6 launch. The user experience has always been great on iPhone. Never had any issues. Plus when we have to get a new iPhone, you get amazing resale value. Try trading your huawei and see how much you get back compared to the price you paid. To give an example, I traded in my kids 7th gen iPad that I bought in 2020 in Best Buy for $130 GC each. I paid $275 for each when I bought them. Getting close to 50% back is amazing.

Bloomberg missed the important point about the argument between Apple and Wechat regarding their fee payment. If they both stand firm, and when it comes down to forcing Chinese to choose between Apple and Wechat, Apple can start packing their bags. Wechat is indispensable in China, not Apple, and Huawei doesn't have to do anything.
iPhone hardly have any significant changes but charged their customers premium prices! Look at Huawei phone and you will see major improvement from generation to generation.
I don't think that's truth, for the mainly used online shopping platform Jingdong shows apple sale most. Also, except Huawei, Chinese brands' phone all cost less than 600, but apple's cheapest device cost about 1000, it's less affordable

Apple is for suckers. The only thing great they created in the last 10 years was the ARM laptops but now that Qualcomm developed their own ARM cpus for laptops there is no reason for anyone to keep buying Apple.
Apple is losing it shine. Feel like get same old fine from iPhone 8 to 15 with small improvement. Worst of all, Apple design now looks ugly compare to other competitor like Samsung and Huawai. Also, the so calle Genius bar is not that good as well. Once Apple replaced broken screen and the iPhone did not work after a few month. iPhone sales are still 200million units or more per year dude and all of those are minimum 700-2500usd iPhones. Flagship Samsung only sells 25-30million units a year. Other brands sells 1million or less units of flagship. The rest are for poor people

For the other countries which may be more receptive to this product, the issue might be about price and brand Apple, people, even in 3rd world countries are brand obsessed, generally if it is not Apple or Samsung it is hard to for them to accept. The numbers there of course will be very low and the rest will buy the various entry level products like the Transsion, Xiaomi and low priced Samsungs like A24, A54 and the like. So l do not see how they can compete at least globally. For example India is a very important market but Chinese phones have faced all sorts of problems, like some companies being raided for tax issues to being banned or branded a threat due to suspicions. Therefore if they cannot sell in India that is huge setback. Meanwhile Apple is doing very well there growing its market share as well as even moving more of its production there so that is a key market which will probably not be available to Huawei for the foreseeable future. There is another obstacle which may deter people, Huawei no longer uses the google application market - the play store. This therefore means it faces a twofold problem, firstly to get developers to develop or modify their products for them which is dependent on the numbers of users so some may be reluctant given the number of users of Huawei in foreign countries. Secondly and this is directly related to the first, many people will be nervous of buying anything with a store they are familliar which means there is less up take and thus less willingness from developers. That in my opinion is one of the biggest challenges to this phone besides price for those people who are not heavily influenced by politics or news. There is of course sideloading but who wants to go to the trouble and risk of doing so? As someone who has used a phone where l had to sideload some apps, it is an experience never to be repeated. Anyway it will be interesting to see where they go from here, they may surprise many people.
I just came back from Shanghai. Apple store is always crowded with people even without any new product yet, and for what I observed most millennial and gen Z use iPhone. It's like a status symbol for them.
