DC really is at its best making stand-along films, New Suicide Squad and Shazam were great, I've heard Birds of Prey was really well received, I even really liked Joker despite it being pretty distant from other Superhero stuff. It all comes off as really fresh and interesting. They shouldn't be trying to be Marvel when everyone's already done with that format and their existing DCU films kind-of sucked. Just reach out to someone talented, give them your IPs and a reasonable budget, and let them do whatever the heck they want with it and you get really fun films that do well. It's just that simple!

If you're planning on making the review, I think the best film to compare this with is "Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox" The reason for this movie is because "The Flash (2023)" plot is literally the live action bastardized version of that orignal films plot. Don't know if you will like the movie or not, but this comparison would also be a good example of how the orignal animated version is better than the live action counterpart.
Unironically hit the nail on the head. If Miller is so innocent (and I’ve *read* the whole thing, it’s actually a decent read lmao) then why hasn’t Warner, who owns CNN, done ANYTHING to exonerate them?
It's funny how WB are not even letting Ezra Miller do any press for this film. They don't want him being asked any difficult questions that could paint them in a negative light. This whole thing is a shitshow. 😂
And they don’t even use the obviously more appropriate lyric: “you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it’s sinking / and races around to come up behind you again” the lyrics they chose have nothing to do with anything we’re watching here.
I get how someone like Adum who doesn't really give a shit about comics could mistake the Batman on a bike shot as memberberries for the bike launch from The Dark Knight, but I really don't think that's the case with this shot. Batman just has different types of vehicles, and one of the most common ones he has is a bike. 🤷♂️
6:08 Look I guess he can't get much complain but I don't think he'll be more as impressive since he'll be and he'll be he'll be shown up in the Barbie trailer.
Whatever is going on at WB that they thought people were really gonna watch TWO Ezra Millers for 2 hours is something that should be a film itself, clearly that's a much more interesting story than whatever they are trying to make on screen.

It's not only bad that this movie has Erza Miller, but it has two of them.
Not to mention he's literally 30 playing a high schooler.
Some high schoolers look 30
Nathan Fielder looks great!
This one might sweep the Oscars 😮
That shot thats like the Dark Knight reminded me more of the Black Widow shot from the first Avengers where she pops out of the plane on that motorcycle
The worst thing that happened to this community was Adum getting a 4K monitor.
Not even why, but HOW is Ezra allowed to be in films? And props to Johnny Depp for telling Disney to suck it
The fact that we have a Flash movie where he says "This rips!" is reason enough for me to watch this clusterfuck. Like, who says that?!
Huge "How do you do, fellow kids?" vibes from that line.
That line was totes retar
I love watching the Adum hates Ezra for 20 minutes episode number 302
Wow, they've picked and molested this song just because it's called Time. They don't give a beep about its meaning and there will probably be nothing in the movie that resembles its themes.
Sign my petition to CGI replace Miller with Filthy Frank.
Ezra is about as funny as unironic self deprecating humor, just makes you feel uncomfortable
So you hate fat people. Just say that.
This movie looks like what I feared No Way Home was gonna be, a bunch of cameos from classic characters and actors who are just there for nostalgia’s sake.
I love how Johnny Depp gets dropped over purely allegations, but Ezra Miller blatantly commits crimes and still gets to star in a movie and faces no jail time. Wonderful.
“I DON’T CARE THAT THEY GROOMED SOMEONE” ~ YMS, May 26, 2023
I know it's a time travel story, but there's something that just feels insane about bringing back super unmemorable villain Zod from a 2013 Superman movie for this dumb shit. I mean, seriously?! I knew they were talking about the sky beam, but we're going THAT FAR back into the Snyderverse to revisit a film people didn't even like that got mocked into oblivion by every critic out there???
DC really is at its best making stand-along films, New Suicide Squad and Shazam were great, I've heard Birds of Prey was really well received, I even really liked Joker despite it being pretty distant from other Superhero stuff. It all comes off as really fresh and interesting. They shouldn't be trying to be Marvel when everyone's already done with that format and their existing DCU films kind-of sucked. Just reach out to someone talented, give them your IPs and a reasonable budget, and let them do whatever the heck they want with it and you get really fun films that do well. It's just that simple!
"Birds of Prey" was abysmal.
@@brettt141 It's kind-of screwed up that Zodd is the best they've got in the DCU. Nobody cares about Steppenwolf, Cheeta kind-of sucked and was too recent, I'm not sure if people even remember that Doomsday was a thing, and Suicide Squad Joker and "Alex" Luthor both feel way too small and not that popular, either.
Man... the DCU really has NOBODY, huh...? At this point I'd just say fuck it and use Time Travel shenanigans to justify Brainiac showing up, because we need at least one good Superman villain for the Kara stuff and at least they haven't messed him up yet.
I mean, it really doesn't bode well when your only real memorable antagonist is a giant starfish monster, which only exists because James Gunn is the only one crazy enough to actually go for a comic book villain that gloriously stupid.
@@dracocrusher Don't forget: Doomsday was basically Zod, so they reused him already ;-)
@@lordmontymord8701 God, you're right. There's so few memorable villains that they used Zod twice even though he was already just the lamest! How do you take someone that nothing and somehow make him even lamer?!
@@dracocrusher I'll give Zod at least that much: Michael Shannon had a lot of fun with the role and he did ham it up quite a bit.
Thats more than the rest of the dark, gritty and not at all Superman-like MoS gave me. I would even go so far and say that's the reason he might be my favourite DCEU-villain so far.
Which is why he probably won't be nearly as funny here as he was in MoS - we can't have him "outcrazy" Ezra Miller ...
Barry didn't try to fix the timeline, he tried to perform it.
If you're planning on making the review, I think the best film to compare this with is "Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox"
The reason for this movie is because "The Flash (2023)" plot is literally the live action bastardized version of that orignal films plot.
Don't know if you will like the movie or not, but this comparison would also be a good example of how the orignal animated version is better than the live action counterpart.
Read a frigging book :p
This is Flashpoint with a shotgun splattering all it's good parts-
EM is the worst flash ever
Unironically hit the nail on the head. If Miller is so innocent (and I’ve *read* the whole thing, it’s actually a decent read lmao) then why hasn’t Warner, who owns CNN, done ANYTHING to exonerate them?
Screw the flash.
I want more cool cat.
Cool cat >dc movies. Actually entertaining and has a consistent story
Pretty sure you're on a watch list now.
Cool Cat vs. Flash - the ultimate creeper-fight!
I don't recognize the song in the trailer. What's it called?
I have time to read that truth on Ezra article today if you have the link
It's funny how WB are not even letting Ezra Miller do any press for this film. They don't want him being asked any difficult questions that could paint them in a negative light. This whole thing is a shitshow. 😂
Does he use “They” because he wants to be respectful or because he’s obligated to?
Kanays next album will kick ass so much we will all forget about the pro Hitler stuff
0:54 look ladies liking Flash has the same problem when he accuses women of beating them up. Nice try Ezra. Nice try.
What yms says about clearing his name doesn’t work if you’re guilty. If you’re guilty you just wait it out until ppl forget
The way the cape moves while batman is turning at 8:57 …
please god share the essay i am so curious, thanks
I think watch mojo has a top ten crimes of ezra miller video
3:26 yay same goes to Amber Heard in latest, "AQUAMEN 2" said it by ex-winner Johnny Depp.
It is a shame we never got a Affleck Batman solo movie. Him and Jeremy Irons were the best part of Batman V Superman.
I would love a Batman flick with Affleck, Keaton and Irons. A guy can dream.
@@chasehedges6775You gotta get some better dreams
@@makeitthrough_Good point but still, wouldn’t that be awesome?
The best part of a shit sandwich is the bread.
No 4K? 😢
No faith in this movie
hey chatter with the name of finaldouglas 9:46 "im birdman" this one is for free
Neeeeeeerd :D
“People are gonna watch this m-I’m gonna watch this movie.” Yep, we’re trapped.
I can't believe how bad this movie looks. It's surreal. How is this real?! Adum puts it so well: this is the DEATH RATTLE of the Snyderverse.
This is like a celebration of the DCEU, but the only people who would want to celebrate the DCEU are Zack Snyder fanboys, but they are the angriest with the DCEU
5:14 are they turning this goodie goodie Ezra into a "The Perks of Wildflower" now? 😅
Yay Nathan Fielder baby. Replace him!
God, doing flashpoint for the “The Flash”movie is just a wild fucking choice
It definitely should have been the trilogy capper
It’s funny that you can barely tell this movie is supposed to be about the flash
Yeah that's not Kara. Kara zorel has fucken ALWAYS been depicted as a blonde, it's literally part of her identity. All it would have taken to make the character properly accurate would have been a wig or a 20 dollar dye, so either someone in production just straight up hates blondes, or they couldn't even be bothered to get the characters right.
This is a multi million dollar production people.
But The Flash™has a family, A FAMILY!!!
That means you have to like him...
When I was watching Across the Spider-Verse in theaters I saw this as a preview and I was just so disappointed to even see it on the big screen and I cringed of course and immediately thought of Adum and how much he would hate this trailer, rightfully so.
Legit thought Adum was wearing a flash t-shirt lmao
Is this the exact same plot as Spiderman No Way Home?
ty for 4k adum
6:58 holy crap, I haven't seen rubbery fight FX like that since Blade 2. I get that a lot of people like these movies and I get that a lot of money is spent on them, but like... is it just me thinking they look like shit?
How come yms hasn't reacted to the "poor things" trailer? Isn't he a fan of yorgos lanthimos?
Ezra: “I did everything right, and they *indicted* meee.”
The thing i sont like about the dceu is that they want every movie to be avengers, which is something marvel is struggling with too. Sometimes you can just let heroes have thier own movie
7:36 look I want my original Batman Keaton in this Flash movie more than anybody so Hes getting a one more chance to play in this movie. My original BATMAN, HELL YeAH!!!
you know how you said watching old movies feel like homework sometimes. that's how I felt watching the original Keaton batman movie last night.
Yeah man the pacing...in that...movie...is...so.....off....
Why is Ezra Miller in movies still
11:01 I would join them, but no. James Gunn will take over and finally, FINALLY....he'll reboot in the mid 2020's so Im in. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for posting this. I just hate movies any more.
