i"m curious where this came from. Sounds like it's not final mixed yet, but the fidelity is excellent, like maybe a raw feed right off the board. Jeff sounds sharp-edged, like it's missing a slight reverb or delay. Still a grerat recording, and he plays like only Jeff Beck can, but the production is missing a little something. Does that make sense, or am I crazy?
the synth/keyboards are integral to this, he never gets it near the album from what I hear. All the volume levels are messed up, percussion to loud guitar to much treble, playing faster than the original and so on... its still great to see him still going though, the album is like a different song though -- always nice to see Tal!
Agreed -- and he doesn't even seem all that interested until he gets to the solo section. Nice that the other guitarist put in some synthy sounds, but a keyboardist wrote this song, and the lack of keys really leaves it sorta hollow
Wow!
Sublime
My fave song by him. I'll never forget finally finding the Soundtrack to Risky Business and rocking out to this on CASSETTE TAPE in the early 80's
RIP Maestro!!!!

Think the best live version is from the ARMS concert in '83 London and the Japan '99 is good too.
