This will be very helpful for me moving forward. This is my first year doing markets and my 1st two markets were slow markets. While I did make some sales, it was the downtime between those sales that was so draining. I have a market coming up that is one of the few popular markets where I live. Even when it rains, it's still packed. So fingers crossed that I end my drought of slow markets and get to experience the other side of things lol. And I will definitely start using these tips for future markets in my area. Thank you 😊
That sounds like you've been through a challenging start, but it's great to hear you're pushing forward! It's common to have slow markets initially, but participating in a popular market like the upcoming one sounds promising!!!Hopefully, you'll see a lot more foot traffic and sales there. 🥹 Remember to stay positive, engage with potential customers, and showcase your beautiful products. I'm glad the tips will be useful for your future events!💗💗💗
Such great advice, I've recently "found" your channel and love both your sage tips and your calming voice - puts me in a zen moment watching your posts while I take in your knowledge. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you’re here! Thank you so much💗

Awesome advice granddaughter ❤
Thank you my Nanny💗
This was super insightful. Everything you said about slow markets is what I've said yes to in the past 😂 Now I know better and what to look for thanks to you! I'll have to give markets another try ❤
Thank you! Oh no😅🥲…well we live and learn and can pass this knowledge on to the next person! Yessss keep me updated 💗
Makes so much sense! Thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome!💗
I'm also a crafter and do a good amount of shows including Girl Gang Craft @ their Massachusetts shows. You have some really good info on this. I think nowadays there are too many pop ups coming up across the country without enough marketing.
Oh wow how are their events?! They always look so fun. I agree 😔
I have Facebook!!!! And the Gram😂 I’m not old , I’m a classic !!! This is really some good advice.
Hahaha love that! Thank you so much!
Hello Arianna,
This is very good advice and to think about. A very long time I had participated in a few. Some where better than others. I haven’t been to any lately. I’m wanting to attend to some but I at this time don’t have enough items to make it worth it. I’m a crafter of many different crafts. So I have been wanting to make a few of all the crafts I make to see which ones sell over the others, so I can concentrate on narrowing my niche. Hope you have a good rest of your day
Hi there!
Thank you so much for your lovely message! It sounds like you have a wonderful and creative journey ahead of you. Exploring different crafts and finding your niche is such an exciting process. I totally understand wanting to have a variety of items to showcase before jumping back into the craft fair scene.
Keep experimenting and having fun with your creations-each one brings you closer to finding what resonates most with your customers! Have a great day💗
This is my first market season and I’ve been going weekly to one near my house. The traffic there thankfully is consistent week to week but it’s exhausting doing it every weekend 😅 I’m looking forward to the fall though because I’m hoping those will be even busier!
Wow, how exciting that this is your first market season! It’s fantastic to hear that you have consistent traffic each week, but I can imagine how exhausting it must be to keep up with it every weekend. 🥲
Fall sounds like it’s going to be amazing, especially with all the beautiful crafts you’ll have ready. The busier season ahead is sure to bring even more excitement and success. Keep up the great work, and take some time to relax and recharge when you can!💗
Hi! I’ll be vending for the first time at my neighborhood’s block party. Would you recommend that I have a friend sitting with me at my booth? Personally, I don’t want anyone with me but I’m open to other opinions. Thank you 🙏🏿 😊
Hey! Congratulations on your first event! I personally had someone attend my first event with me. Vending can be so unpredictable, especially your first time. For things like help setting up, using the RR, getting a quick snack, watching your cash bag, running to the car etc, it’s soooo helpful having another person in attendance with you. Especially if it’s an option, I recommend it. Doing it alone is also possible, but personally it takes a lot of practice to execute this well. I hope the block party goes well!💗
@@ariannagenell thank you! And great points. I decided to have a friend sit with me. 😃 I’m looking forward to my first event. Your videos have definitely helped me prepare 😊😊😊 God bless you!
