Jay, thank you for sharing your thoughts on the exhaustion of negative titles. Negativity, drama, and fear may get you to click, but my videos have little negativity, drama, or fear. I appreciate the recommendation to look for inspiration out of my niche.

Thank you for this video 🤝. I am experiencing exactly what you said in my last videos, and I am learning more and more. SO exciting! For me, the most important part is understanding my mistakes from the past.
It's very difficult to draw a conclusion like the one he mentions at 3:30 about what works best regarding the relationship between a thumbnail/title... The example he used was buying land vs. buying a foreclosed house. The search volume of buying land is exponentially more than buying a foreclosed property. What that tells me is the overall demand is much much lower for the foreclosed topic, hence you can expect the overall traffic to be lower as well. All of that to say, I'm not a RUclips video expert...
Learning so much from this! Trending! I've built a running track on my interior build of the Starship Enterprise, I should have titled the video ' The Olympics on board the Starship Enterprise!' or something like that for the recent Olympics! Thanks for the great content!
Ugh! I hate clickbait titles. I appreciate the need for them. But I refuse to click a clickbait title even if the content looks great. I'm so tired of reading "My best title advice yet..." and then next week it's "My best title advice ever!". Clever clickbait is good. That being said, my titles have been pretty boring. Thanks for the advice. Time to spice it up a little.
Titles, thumbnails and editing togther cannot beat content. Lately a trained surgeon who decided to live in the wild went viral with 0 editing, crappy sound m, no edited thumbnail. YT decides what and who to promote or shadow ban. Titles, thumbnails and editing are important but less than topic and content.
I resonate with your tentativeness around using fear in titles. I know it makes people click. But all else equal, I want a world with LESS fear in it. Fear jacks up our nervous system, and causes us to think more narrowly. It does seem questionable to me to create fear where it need not exist. (This all depending of course on the topic of the piece of content. An article about seatbelts might be a great time to use fear in a title)
I'm a Brit, and noticed a character in Desperate Housewives once said it correctly, so I deduced most Amsericans DO know how it's pronounced. It just seems to be a lot of internet marketers who pronounce it "Nitch"!
