link only opens a page indicating 50% done... clicking on the big download button does nothing - i.e., no page opens

Thank you so much, Deborah. I was an Access expert 25 years ago but this refreshed everything and also amazed me how far it has come during those years :-)

Amazing that this course was for free. Deb is an amazing teacher! I needed a refresh for Access. I expected some queries handling and sql views, making forms with bounded data. Did not expect the sql install bit ... Nice! Heading back to Udemy for more ... Thank you Deb & Simon

I have worked with Access many years back and wanted a refresher.
For a free course, this is not too bad, but it is definitely not teaching correct database design.
Mainly the lessons on link tables is incorrect and very confusing for beginners, in my opinion.
The only reason to use a link table would be for many-to-many relationships.
If it is a many-to-one relationship, like the status, it should be setup as a simple lookup field in the main table.
The explanation that using link tables makes your database more efficient is not making any sense. Your link table would still contain as many records as your main table.
Also, why maintain data in 2 tables when this can be done in 1 table?

I really appreciate your detailed feedback! Your perspective on link tables is valuable. Thanks for watching 😃
