That hip-hop gathering where B-free attacked RM and Suga... If you watch the whole thing, it will make your blood boil. Suga was trying to explain his decision to join an idol group and B-free just twisted everything he said. Remember that RM and Suga were only 19-20 at the time, still in their first year after their debut, and B-free was 8-9 years older than them, and yet he saw it fit to attack his juniors. But both RM and Suga handled the situation with poise and grace, despite their young age. The video: (ENG) B-Free Disses BTS 방탄소년단 디스하는 비프리 You can see their thoughts about this idol/rapper duality in their songs. If you remember, Suga mentions this in his verse in "Born Singer". RM struggled with this dual identity for a while, and finally laid out his answer in "Do You".
I'm sitting at work with the biggest grin on my face at you two giving each other RM shirts and his suga shirt. I love it. Fun that they went through both your biases in the first video!
Y'all! I love those shirts! So glad you are getting to this. It's going to make you realize how much content is out there for you to catch up on. 🙂 Can't wait for the rest!

Remember that during that interview where RM and Suga was disrespected, they were only a 18 & 19 and that is a radio post cast. The guy disrespected them was 10 years their senior but Suga responded at that time in a professional manner.
19:19 So it *is* kind of a cultural thing. Most mainstream entertainers in SK wear makeup whether it be singers, rappers, actors or anchors. But the ones who were disrespecting Suga and RM were their peers in the underground rap scene, where makeup is not a thing. But the whole issue was not only because of the makeup, but also because they thought RM and Suga "sold out" by joining BTS. One of the rappers from that interview, B-free, said that he also struggled as an underground rapper, but he was capable of enduring everything and that's why he didn't want to go mainstream. Ironically, B-free is still a no-name rapper in SK and the only thing he is famous for is dissing BTS. He also went to jail a couple of years back for assault, there's that too. So I'm glad BTS decided to "go mainstream" because they made the right decision for themselves.
That is not quiet true. Everyone going on TV wears make-up because of the light/glare while filming. In the K-Hiphop/Independent scene it was not a thing back than. I think they moved from that since. B-Free has actually done MVs - with make-up - since than. In 2020 or 2021 he was nominated for an award, too. I saw some antis making bets how Army would get angry if he actually won that award... as far as I know he didn't since there was no reaction as far as I can tell.
@@ruthfischer7615 Some K-hiphop artists have started wearing makeup, but it is still not prevalent. Especially if you look at underground artists. Also from what I understand, B-free has a small following in the underground scene, but my point still stands that he is not famous for his music. The general public knows him because he dissed BTS and because he was arrested recently. B-free might have chosen to move on from his past comments and start wearing makeup in his MVs. But that doesn't change the fact that his Twitter apology to BTS in 2019 was bullshit. Right after tweeting that apology, he was retweeting shady stuff about BTS. So I don't feel bad about holding a grudge against him.
@@ruthfischer7615 Also what I meant when I said makeup is a cultural thing is that, mainstream entertainers in the Korean industry wear noticeable makeup. Whereas in the west, it tends to be more subtle. But yes everyone who goes on TV wears makeup. I should have worded that better.
@@MinSugaCheonjae Don't worry. That wasn't meant as an attack. I'm sorry that it sounded like one. I'm fully aware what that a* is famous for. I also know the story that got him arrested. I think I saw a reactor once pulling up one of his MVs for fun. There were many Army comments. So I didn't mean he had a very successfull career just that he had some success. The most number 1s is a weird record it’s how many countries did a song or album hit #1 in, it’s really only a thing for truly global artists because at this point it’s mostly just been BTS vs BTS as no one else has their global reach (things like getting up to #1 in 120 countries in a single day of release etc.). Weird or not we do enjoy keeping it going and each country large or small gets friendly competitive in Army for how quickly your country hits #1. In a lot of award areas it’s been BTS has a group or soloists, being the only one who can top streaming or sales records set by BTS. RM is I think at 209 song writing credits and I’m not even sure what Suga is at right now but JHope is close to Suga. The vocal lines writing credits are all between 10 to 25 or so, which is impressive but the powerhouse and 3 pillars of BTS song writing is the rapline. They 3 rappers have been steadily encouraging the vocal line to write more which is great to see, like you saw RM helping Jimin in the video with writing a song he’d been working on for a while.
Man and this is why I love bts and bts only. This isn't even all the crap they went through in the earlier days. But look where they are now. legends!!!

5:15 That specific scene is from their minisode series finale episode 8 of #BTSAmericanHustleLife when they went to LA to film back in 2014 and worked with several western artists such as Warren G and Coolio (I don’t remember the rest). The was part of one of their missions of self-promoting as well as learned a few things from other artists before finally making their appearance for their mini concert at the end of the show where they performed “No More Dream” & “We are Bulletproof pt2” followed by small improv encore where they then showed what they learned during the show. 6:14 Yes, they had full participation of their music but they still had to follow much of what they company wanted them to do such as what to wear and how to act etc as well as some of the songs they sang or covered that was contributed by other artists. 11:32 😂Namjoon was very experimental with his hairstyles, he even had a sort of dreadlock mohawk at one point it was hilarious … im glad he grew out of them and im sure he is too! 13:14 That was RM’s previous IQ for the longest time until retesting during university entrances (I think) and his IQ reached up around 190, which is almost as high as #WalterOBrian who’s IQ is 197 13:32 Yes even though RM is still known as the only one fluent in english, they all can speak decent amount of english to hold conventions as well as sing & rap in full english including Japanese. *It doesnt mention that RM learned english during his childhood from watching sitcom “FRIENDS”.*

Oh I love those shirts! Finally we get to watch the guide (again like for a 100th time but we loooooove it) with you guys. Yes Taylor is a fantastic ARMY. She did a crazy great job.
I also want to emphasize how extraordinary Namjoon was at the time BigHit scouted him. The whole group is created around him - at the beginning Bangtan Sonyeondan was supposed to just be a three-member hiphop group with him as a leader. Bang Pd basically saw the potential he had and decided to bet all of his money and investment on Namjoon when he was just a 16 year old, that’s how special he was, and still is. By the way, Mono holds the record for the ALBUM that reached the number 1 position on iTunes in most countries ever. While Sweet Night by V holds the record for the SONG that reached #1 in most countries, so you don’t get that confused lol. I think I already suggested that you react to Agust D’s song The Last, but here’s some background about the song and Suga of that time before getting into it. In the song, he mentions the show “Show Me The Money” which is Korean hip-hop competition show, where many rappers compete and it was considered that you’re a not true rapper if you don’t go to that show. Some people were making fun of them for being idols while doing hip-hop music, even had their name in their songs in the competition, calling them out for not coming to the show etc etc so that’s why Yoongi mentions it. Later, it turned out that the show is very racist and all in all problematic. They really dodged a bullet by not participating in it..
This is fire! Thank you for reacting to this guys I know there’s quite a bit of reading but it’s really cool to see you guys get to know a bit deeper about who BTS are it’s really satisfying to see you guys go on the BTS journey and to see they are far from just a boy band. it means that RM's 'mono.' had reached #1 on iTunes in 121 countries, breaking the all-time record for most #1's for any album in the platform's history
THIS IS NOT THE BEST INTRO because there are lots of texts but people always recommend this because it was created by ARMY. xCeleste’s and Rice Squad’s versions are narrated and easier for beginners.

RM's mono means most album number #1's in different countries. so #1 in US, UK, Germany... etc edited to add: yes he is the most out of all artists in history
Suga is a piano major too😏 And iTunes!!! They always hit on most countries. So don't doubt about it..as i remember now record of the 1st place holds Jungkook or Taehyung

I'm sure you guys figured this out already, but Most # 1s means # 1 in the most countries. Every country has their own chart and tracks separately on platforms like Spotify, iTunes and SoundCloud, etc. Melon is the main platform in S Korea (hence the Melon Music Awards / MMAs)
What you guys don’t understand is that Europe and Asia is a bigger music market than the U.S. The U.S. was the only part of the global music industry they hadn’t yet conquered. So, more people outside of the U.S. stream music via iTunes, Spotify and other non-American music streaming sites; this is why the stats are what they are. And musicians, actors and the like have been wearing make-up for their live performances, videos, photos etc. for decades; some examples are Kiss, Black Sabbath, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, many/most 80s and 90s bands…and on and on.
I'm behind watching your videos because this week has been so busy, but I'm so happy to be catching up. Your Tshirts are dope 🔥 y'all make me laugh, thank you 💜
I’m so glad you’re checking this. BTS has awesome songs and I came in only because of the rapline in the beginning. Airplaine pt 2 is awesome , latin vibes, and Airplane pt 1 is a solo J Hope song from his 1st mixtape. Agust D The Last is so good, and BTS Nevermind. Jimin actually has Nevermind tattooed on his chest. In Run, one if them has a Nirvana shirt. When is part 2 ?💜💜💜💜😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣💜💜😭

Cheers guys can’t wait to see part 2 ☺️💜
it means that RM's 'mono.' had reached #1 on iTunes in 121 countries, breaking the all-time record for most #1's for any album in the platform's history
I LOVE THE SHIRTS 😂💜
Thanks for the reaction!! Gonna wait for part 2 💜💜
THIS IS NOT THE BEST INTRO because there are lots of texts but people always recommend this because it was created by ARMY. xCeleste’s and Rice Squad’s versions are narrated and easier for beginners.
8:12 Run BTS(the show) is amazing. It’s sooo funny and ridiculous in the best way. Just watch it in your free time. Well worth it
Oh dear, you're wearing my bias and wrecker... LET"S GO!
when the soulmate is soulmate-ing 😆. that's actually so sweet~
this reminds me when rm ordered this figurines, one for him and one for jhope as a gift. and turns out jhope did the same thing for rm so they have the exact same 4 figurines and ended up gave the other 2 for the other bts member 😆💜
RM's mono means most album number #1's in different countries. so #1 in US, UK, Germany... etc
edited to add: yes he is the most out of all artists in history
You guys are so funny love it lol finally and yes is a fan made ..Taylor are a amazing editor
Suga is a piano major too😏
And iTunes!!! They always hit on most countries. So don't doubt about it..as i remember now record of the 1st place holds Jungkook or Taehyung
great shirts!!!! thank you for watching Taylor’s guide 💜 hope you are enjoying your BTS journey! Merry Christmas!!!
3:34 army is an acronym btw
Adorable Representative Mc for Youth
Not the government name😔
@@yadiraurieta9910 😭
Loved your shirts!! Thanks for checking Taylor's guide, and yes she's a BTS Army 😊.
omg I love your shirts 🤣🔥
Thank you for reacting to the guide. 💜 It's ok if you guys pause to read, It's a lot of information so..
If you’re buying merch you are definitely ARMY… welcome. Shirts are fire!
Loved the gift exchange and the story behind it! 😍👍
Y’all cute !! The way you guys thought of gifting e/o and that too same shirt says a lot about your brotherhood 😁 keep going !! we love your content and omg thank you so much for this reaction !!!!
ALSO OMG YOU GUYS NEED TO REACT TO ‘RISE OF BANGTAN’ (all episodes) !!! It’s okay to read out subtitles and pause , ARMY loves it 💜💜
15:27 The iTunes record is worldwide, meaning the mixtape itself hit number one in 121 countries.
The gifting part was so wholesome💜💜Thank you for your reactions!!
Love love , can't wait for the next part !!! Your shirt ... Damn :) stay healthy and happie .
FINALLY OMG IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Жаль не могу написать по аглицки, но очень нравится реакция парней на корейцев, не просто смотрят вижуал, а читают, вдумываются, разбирают тексты, молодцы!
Thanks to Google, we can.
RM is actually a middle child, he's smack dab in the middle of all 7 members, Jin, Suga, and Hobi (by a couple of months) are all older than him.
Yep, they wrote Born Singer 20 days after debut (as they say in the original song) and it was released July 11th 2013 ^^
OMG I LOVE YOU TWO AND YOUR SHIRTS!!! 💜💜💜
Cant wait for pt 2
I prefer the Rice Squad introduction video. It’s narrated well.
Camisa mais linda do RM que ja vi! BTS the best
You guys are officially my favs. Can't wait for the 2 part!!
That suga's shirt ia dope! 🔥
I love that you guys got that shirt! Why can’t I meet any guys who like BTS. I guess the ones I’m meeting are just not aware.
Both shirts fit you guys really well make me want to order same too .. thank you guys , amazing reactions can’t wait for the next one 💜
I love the shirts!!!! Thank you guys, i appreciate you guys continuing to keep an open mind despite differences of opinions 💜
Woke up from a nap n saw this. So excited!!
I'm sure you guys figured this out already, but Most # 1s means # 1 in the most countries. Every country has their own chart and tracks separately on platforms like Spotify, iTunes and SoundCloud, etc. Melon is the main platform in S Korea (hence the Melon Music Awards / MMAs)
gonna wait for all three parts to binge 😁😁
Let’s Goooo!!! We also would not have minded if you did the whole thing -no matter how long it is - we are here !!! 💜💜💜
whoa never noticed the Nevermind Nirvana connection, that's a good point
Love those shirts! Merry Christmas!
You realize ARMY doesn’t mind long videos, right? 2 members at a time is sacrilege. I HATE WHEN PEOPLE BREAK IT UP! I also love your tshirts sigh.
Omg thank you guys for reacting it 💜 i love the t-shirts 😍
wow im glad you guys are doing this
I want that tshirt too😭😭😭
I'm behind watching your videos because this week has been so busy, but I'm so happy to be catching up. Your Tshirts are dope 🔥 y'all make me laugh, thank you 💜
RM SHIRT & SUGA SHIRT! LMAO YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE! 😅😅
Btw, thank you for the reaction guys! Appreciate it!
When is part 2 ?💜💜💜💜😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣💜💜😭
seing this vid many time from other reactor, BUT the fact that i seing u guys reacted it now while Jin go on military service makes my tear fall..🥺 i dont know..guess im miss him so much.
too cute with the shirts. so fun to watch you get to know more about BTS. definitely check out some clips or episodes of their variety show called "Run BTS". Entertaining stuff
Now I need Part 2 😭😭😭
Good reaction guys. I am already waiting for part 2. 💜 Your tshirts are great!!

@@bluehourtarot it just got announced today, I believe it's called Yet To Come in cinemas. It's basically a stream of the concert
I’ve watched the concert atleast 10x would I still go to the theater to watch the concert? Yes yes I would 😏
@@lalapozada7834 you’re just like me Fr 🤭
@@lalapozada7834 yes I plan on going, it will be so hype in theaters

Thank u for this video, but the intro with the gifts, was so sweet. Happy holidays guys💜💜
The tune when Joon is showing the bike Jin got him is in fact Bicycle (a song he release as a gift last year BTS anniversary) ^^
I don't have a license either. Eco conscious / I don't care for cars xD / I always had nice public transportation any place I've lived in + strong legs and feet to walk.
We army love bts unconditionally... I hope you upload more bts related videos 💜
The shirts are awesome, I have a jhope shirt so if we ever get together we'd be rap line twinning lol
EU QUERO ESSA CAMISA DO RM
Yayayaya I’m so happy to see this reaction💜
