- I love to fly, plain and simple. But becoming a pilot is expensive. It takes years of training and when you show up for your first job, you still don't know what to expect. That's what I'm working to change and it's my way of solving a small part of a worldwide pilot shortage.
The videos I produce are the first example of an airline approved, comprehensive view of becoming an airline pilot. Each video is about a specific topic, something I wish I'd learned before I started flying as a professional pilot. What do you want to learn? Leave me a comment below!

They truly are the best of any aviation channel I know, both in terms of content and quality. Each time you release a new video I know that it will usually make my day ! If there is a glider operation near you you could start there and you could solo by age 16 and from there to powered aircraft.

You inspire me to chase my dream even more than ever. I've wanted to become an airline pilot since age 4 and still do. I go outside everyday just to watch a plane pass and say to my self "One day that'll be me flying." I"ll be starting my flight training next year and hope to do well. I've been studying planes since age 8 and I'm looking forward to using that knowledge and more to graduate from flight school early and successfully. Fly safe and never give up on your dream 👍🏽

Being a pilot is a way of life, started when I was 15 and now fly for the Airlines and the Air National Guard. Would not change it for anything.

you’re right about it being tough and a long road to complete training. I started in college but have had to take several breaks because of how expensive it is & I’m still trying to make it happen but I appreciate the videos as they’re super informative and also keeps that inspo alive!

Hi Swayne, I am 41 years old, and since I was a boy I have always been fascinated by flight. I had the opportunity for a few years to fly on an ultralight. For several reasons I have never embarked on an airline pilot career, but I must say that when I see guys like you with this passion, seriousness and willpower in achieving their goals, my heart fills. For all the young men and women wanting to start on this journey in 2020, don’t be discouraged. Now is the time to start. It takes years to get the experience required and the airlines will bounce back. The pilot shortage is or was being driven by pilots retiring and lack of interest in the industry, this will continue irrelevant of COVID or not. I’m 45 I had my PPL at 19 and I’m just starting training again. It never to late. Great video young man very inspirational
I like that you are very real and honest about the content in your videos and with relation to the airline industry and pilots. No sugar coating. You don’t find that much about what it takes to be an airline pilot, or the path to get there. I would like to know what you do on your downtime and what the turnaround time is once you land to get back in the air. I often notice pilots sitting at airport bars by themselves. Looks lonely. Must be rough. Thank you for your videos and all you do, Swayne.

Thank you for this. I’m motivated to become a pilot more and more. I’ve always loved aviation. There are times where I feel like I should’ve pursued engineering instead but videos like this make me feel like I did the right thing, and that is to do aviation.

Thank you your videos moved my desicision to move from my "part-time" weekend job in right seat in local cargo company to decision change my vision and career in my 30s to go and follow, make that step leave my very well paid desk job (which paid my never ending training expenses :)) and answer that nice HR lady from local regional airline there in Europe and leave anything behind, move to another country, and step into the cockpit, with pink glasses and neverending entusiasm.
Yeah, after year and something I must day - it's hard breed, especially for someone who sit in warm office from 9 to 5 for decade; but I chose to follow. And from now to the future, maybe in my late 30s, maybe at the end of my career in 40s, and may be never, I grew up into big airline and big dream...but that first step is most important decision you need to made, all after that? That is just small ladder to your dreams...
