Malaysia Airlines' no. 1 A380 -- which features a special livery -- accommodates 494 passengers in a three-class configuration.

Manufacturing parts and assembly for A380 would require 12 months while testing would require another 1 to 2 months or perhaps more due to complexity of the aircraft.
