    Doing a solid minute of swinging with a 10-12lb hammer is hard enough. Doing that with a 40lb must be brutal.

    holy shit this guys a beast, and he's swinging that bitch without sliding his hands up

    Great, especially with rhythm! I counted exactly 26 seconds both ways so timing was perfect.

    He's not even sliding his hand up to the head. That is a very heavy and difficult work out. Good man, warrior!

    I know some big old dude who used to swing the 40Ibs sledge in one hand.. his forearms were the size of my legs almost.

    @iknowhere
    The entire midsection (both preventing and causing lumbar flexion, rotation... pretty much everything), lats and grip. Not to mention that it's one hell of a conditioner.

    Its good for breathing.but not really power.
    Use less swinging momentum, slam it on something solid to keep it controlled in which you will have to use your own power to lift it and slam it again. Rather than being bounced back and using the help of the tire to talk it up

  • @sag8730
    @sag8730 5 лет назад +2

    Nope that's no way to swing a sledgehammer,there's no power in the swing.you need to slide the left hand down on the drive.

    • @yo1yo2yo3yo6
      @yo1yo2yo3yo6 5 лет назад +2

      It's 40lb g, and he's holding at bottom to do swing do you understand how hard that is

    • @sag8730
      @sag8730 5 лет назад +1

      Why even swing it then,if your going to work it like that

    • @sag8730
      @sag8730 5 лет назад +1

      I work sledges all the time,hundreds of strikes.and my key is to generate as much force as I can.that is using nothing but momentum,uterlly useless,trust me.

    A FORTY POUND SLEDGEHAMMER!?!!
    Are you serious?!
    I'd imagine he would've lost that thing without gloves.
    Those stiff work gloves must've torn him up too.
    I think batter's gloves would work best. I don't know.
