I have been rewatching these videos (for sleep) for years! You sorting thru jewelry and items is one of the most relaxing things ever. Greatful for you!
I really like for you to walk around the flea market. I wish I was able to wander around like you do. I have 2 antique radios that use those like that but I don't need any now,
teri, Dave is a perfect companion when walking around the flea markets. Not only is never a harsh word heard, but he takes time to explain the history of the items he chooses to inspect. If I had a criticism of Dave, it is that he never buys me a coffee - he is rarely seen without one (or at least he starts with a coffee but leaves it on tables where bids are made from passing clients!!! nb - dont worry dave, I am English and prefer Yorkshire tea.
Those NOS tubes are a good find. I used to restore old tubed Ham Radio equipment and finding old tubes for them was a chore. When I came across an old 6MJ6 power tube for my Swan 350A transceiver it set me back about $35. Good luck with them.
Man $5,000 for that fire truck is insane. I mean that's a used car. I can't imagine being in a position in which I would spend that kind of money on something like that. It is super nice don't get me wrong. Are these like everyday markets? Or just certain days? Here in Central NY we have one flea market that runs every Sunday from about 7am-1pm. Prices are cheap too. There are plenty of repeat vendors. One in particular has mountains of fresh goods every week and can be heard calling out "make a pile folks" from a mile away. I collect tools and always get a boatload dirt cheap. Tools and vises are my thing. I am always on the lookout for a nice big anvil but you can never find one. And if you do happen to stumble on one they want a ridiculous amount of money for it. Anyways, great channel, I love the whole scene. And by watching your videos it is almost like I'm there enjoying it firsthand.
Dave, you may have answered this before, but, did you have to get a commercial drivers license for the big blue bus? I think, in Georgia, you have to have a CDL to drive a school bus, but since yours is repurposed you might not need one. Just curious.
I’ve been to Brimfield only once! I do live in Massachusetts and I need to go back!!! Do people need to put everything away overnight? Or does it stay up with security watching? Just asking!! Love your videos!!! I’m a new subscriber!!🤞🏼👍🏻

That booth with all the apothecary and drug store antiques looked amazing! Do you know their name, or what field they were in?

Some people just put tarps over their stuff I guess it depends on how much value you have people with jewelry put that away always
