It's people like that while I'm just walking around enjoying myself, would have ruined the rest of the day for me. I have zero patience for rude people like that. Would have been extremely hard to bite my tongue... jerk
That bottle looks like the same style as the Ramune Japanese sodas. There is a marble in the top like a stopper, you push it down into that flattened part of the neck with the cap and then it agitates the soda and makes it much fizzier when you drink it.
That guy with the scope was way out of line, you can't be both the buyer and the seller, you told him you didn't even know what it was how could you know what it's worth, it is his item he should give the asking price, period. We run into that when out at house calls sometimes, the people wanna sell an item, we ask how much, they say they something like they have no idea, make an offer, when they do I like to toss out $1 offer and when they laugh or get offended then I tell them well clearly you have a price in mind so just tell me, why play games. This is why all our stuff is just priced to begin with in our booth, sure it takes a little effort to actually price you stuff, but people like to see prices, many times people can't be bothered to ask thinking it will be too high or some people think you will give them a price based upon looks or whatever, so we just price the stuff. If your out and about this May, swing buy our booth, Hertan's field spots 2 & 15 right next to Vintage Vin.
Exactly! There was a lot more I wanted to say to this guy, but I held my tongue. I didn't want to cause any trouble and potentially get kicked out. I went back to his booth in September hoping to see the scope again, but it wasn't there. I was going to offer him $10 and see what happened. I'll try to look out for you in May! Thanks for watching!
@@fleabittenadventures hope to see you, in the meantime we enjoy watching your coverage of the show. As vendors we are so busy we don't get a chance to shop so it's nice to see what else is out there through your videos.
That’s why I never shop at booths without prices-i just walk on by. Anytime I have tried and I ask for prices, the items are very expensive. That guy was so out of line. You tell him you have no idea, he pushes you to make an offer and then he gets mad at the offer? That makes zero sense!
I flea market a lot. If I’m interested in an item with no price I ask. If the seller response is what will you give ? I respond with I ain’t pricing your stuff and walk away . Don’t look back.😊
Yes, a dealer asking me how much I will pay is the only thing I dislike more than not having a price on an item. Especially when they give me a hard time about how much I am offering. Thanks for watching!
It was early in the day for me so I was still in a pretty good mood, so I kind of let it go. However, for me to have said anything back to him like I did is VERY out of character for me, which means he really got me fired up. Thanks for watching!
Omg...that telescope guy was definitely just looking for a fight, acted like a jerk, for whatever reason! You remained polite, but I get it, why escalate or bother with someone like that. He's in the wrong "biz" trying to sell his wares that way. Put a freakin' price on it.
The dealer with the telescope thing was a total idiot. If I ask the dealer how much and he comes back with what are you willing to pay? I say you are the seller what do you want for it?
That guy was a jerk. I think he just wanted you to get him to tell you how much he paid because he wanted to show off a bit. There was no call for him to act that way since he's a vendor trying to sell things. lol You handled it a lot better than I would have. Expletives would have flown if I were there. His entire tone was b.s.
I don't put prices on my items, but I will say what I want and am usually willing to barter. He was rude and should have explained what it was that he wanted a high price for it. Sometimes it is the customers though that think they should get things way to cheap. For example I was asking for a under armor hooded sweatshirt in excellent condition I was asking 2$ and was told It was too much. So just remember it is fun, but the rudeness and craziness can go both ways.
@@cheerbearsue people are cheap, we had costume jewelry on a table for $1 each, lady brings a piece in off the dollar table and asks us what's the best we could do.... our reply was a dollar, that's it, that's the best we can do, it's a dollar.
That telescope guy was a tool... you were alot nicer than i would have been mate. Sydney, Australian fan.

I had some harsher words for him at the end, but I edited that out. Thanks for watching!
I agree. It felt like he wanted an argument. Thanks for watching!

Interesting. I've never seen anything like that. Thanks for the info and thanks for watching!
I should have mentioned I really enjoy your video's
Glad you like them! Thanks!
Can you show, flip thru albums please? For hubbie. And just generally scan tables a little bit more. I love seeing paper ephemera.
Thanks for watching! I'll see what I can do in September.
I am still trying to get up there!
You still have time. It's coming back on September 6.

If I was already in just the right mood, that guy probably would have something missing after he lipped at me.

That dealer would do better to employ someone to speak for him.

That's why I hate people who are selling that don't have the price on it, well maybe not hate but put a price tag on your stuff.

That’s an expensive brand. $2 is too much? What the hell?

There are two prices one they want to sell it, two there bragging that they have it
