@@Reubenn1 Parts list is in the video of part 3 at the very very end. Ordered from Babbits online here: www.babbittsonline.com/oemparts/l/hon/624c548287a8660f304c03c5/2023-grom125-ac-parts
i have a new rear shock but its 1.5 inches shorter than the stock shock since you already went through this what part of the bike has to move to make my install possible ? thanks
Honestly just haven't decided what kit I want to go with haha it's on the list to do down the road though! Also, to a lesser extent, I'm leaning towards a high mount exhaust and that limits my kit options a little bit, need to do more research on it before hitting buy on something. Mirrors will probably happen sometime after I do the bars. I have doubletake mirrors on my F800GS and these mirrors seem slim and svelte in comparison to those.
@@SpencerDesmarais I’m very impressed with your videos thus far. Subbed last night. You definitely have a knack for this. I was thinking, “This guy could build bikes for people in an aftermarket sense” 👌🏻
@@BuRt0nRid3R Thanks! Really appreciate the kind words and the sub. I'd love to do this for others someday, but I have a hard time letting bikes go after I've worked on them haha not sure I could do it
Pretty big difference, yeah. If it feels like it sinks down too much when you get on it or is extra bouncy in the rear, where it doesn’t take much force for the shock to compress, add in a few turns and see if it gets better.
Stealing that ladder idea when I do my shock. You are literally doing everything I want to do to my Grom.

Thanks for the reminder, didn't realize I hadn't put it in the about section yet haha! Glad you're enjoying the videos.
@@SpencerDesmaraisWhere did you get the Matt Black Panels to change the colour of your bike ??

I’m shocked you haven’t swapped out those hideous mirrors yet. Or done a fender eliminator kit!

That looks like a nice piece and the spring rate seems right from my testing on similar bikes. Might have to snag this how do you like?
Zero complaints, still! Price was right and it works well for me after dialing in the preload a bit on it.
1:58 looks like you have a wire " positive and negative " is that after market light wiring?
Nah, just an SAE lead for a battery charger
@@SpencerDesmarais thx...
Any big difference on adjusting the preload? I installed last night and havent adjusted the preload yet

Break loose the bolts before your lift it up.
