The Darkest day in the arctic in Nuuk. How short is the shortest day in Nuuk, Greenland?
Lying south of the Arctic Circle, Nuuk gets really dark in the winter months, with the 21st of december, being the shortest day of them all, with almost no sunlight during the day. Making living up here especially difficult, if you are a person who needs loads of sunlight to function properly.
Luckily Nuuk is a more southern located town and luckily we never really lose the sun, its just not showing itself that much during winter.
