You wouldn’t believe how long it took me to realize that the “GP” in “The Hoof GP” was just a shortening of Graham Parker
I thought it meant general practitioner. So you knew more than me.
@@missybeaudetteI thought the same “hoof doctor” lol
😂 I also thought it meant general practitioner.
I thought it was Glue Pro😂
FINALLY, I’ve been wanting to know what GP meant but now I know, I’ve been wondering for months and I kept looking in the comments for an answer, thank you
"Grass Puppies" is now my new favourite word for cows! Cheers Graeme and thank you all for everything you do to keep these majestic beasts as comfortable and happy as you can!!
"Grass Puppy"--cute term!
Pasture Pets
It made me laugh when he called them that 😂
Calves are definitely grass puppies especially if it’s a rescue cow that’s growing up around dogs 😂
ACTION
Hello Graeme, 'tis the season for a joke: Do any of you know what a Snowman w/a six pack is called? Well, he's called an "abdominal Snowman", either that or a Snowman that'll be a lot happier in a couple of hours, depending upon which "six-pack" ya want to go with!!!!😊 Hope y'all got a giggle from that... Hope all's well with everyone/thing! Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 🙏😇👊
Same to u, Randy & thanks for the laugh, I needed some goofiness today😆😆
😂😂😂😂😂
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Watching this at 2am. Nothing like a dad joke to make me chuckle😅 cheers from a kiwi 😊
Dumb joke: "If you're an (insert Country name) in the Living Room, what are you in the bathroom?" Answer; "You're a European".. 😅😅😂
Your skipping along behind the foot transformed cow made me smile! Your joy in helping these cows is so obvious…even without the skipping!!
The way you explain viewers can almost learn about trimming as if they were next to you doing it
That's because you can do it.
You might need the crush, but other than that, some practice Allis well
Ikr! I didn't even know I wasn't this interested in cow hooves! Lol. Niw I'm, wish I could take a class and find some cows to help! Lol
Easy .
I'm getting better at forecasting diagnosis after watching for a while. I try to guess if blocks will be used and how many will be needed.
@@WhiteManXRPI googled it and was quite surprised that it was only a 4 day course.
Fanfare please.....let's hear it for 2 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS!! I don't know if you're aware of this or not, Graeme, but you might be the closest thing to a You Tuber who is universally loved and respected. The things you do for these poor girls is awesome.
Keep it up, my friend....LONG LIVE HOOF GP!!
It’s good to see Kevin up and about. This is an elite strike force team that takes care of these sweet loving animals.
Maybe I've been watching too many of these videos. My internal voice pronounced "about" as "aboot."
You talk too much.
And wash the cows' hooves before you get to work.
He's been up and about for awhile now.
@@TheMrCC21 He has. My husband had the same surgery recently, and his recovery is behind Kevin’s. He’s older, but seeing Kevin get along so well encourages me. 🥰
Missed your videos! Glad you're posting again!
Just seen the news that you were part of the rescue for that sheep that's been stranded for 2 years! Go HGP, top job! 👏
8:17 BRILLIANT ❤😁😍🤔
Graeme, I’m going to tell you now, figure out a way to MARKET “Grass Puppy”. T-shirts, hats, sweatshirts, stickers, mugs, keychains, ANYTHING!!!
I’m in Texas, and every rodeo we go to, there is cow memorabilia OUT THE WAZZO!! Grass Puppy is a GENIUS MARKETING idea!!!
Mark my words, that phrase is about to BLOW UP!!!
Use Mini Scottish Highland calves!!!
Thank me later 😁😁
Congratulations on 2 million subscribers 🎉 I'm so happy for you and your family. You deserve all the good coming your way! Hi from NY✌🏻
Thank you, Graeme and crew, for taking such loving care of these great creatures.
For some strange reason I love watching this stuff.
Every post I learn something new. I love this channel.
Hey Graeme, thanks for being part of the 'Fiona rescue team'!!!!!! You guys did a great job, SUPERB! Absolutely fantastic! 👍👍👍🤗
Fiona was lonely for some time and then she got a friend or many…………..
Metacam made a huge difference to my last dog when she had bone cancer. Her quality of life was transformed, and until the day when she gave me the "it's time, Mum" look, she'd almost been puppy-like! I've been given it for a few of my dogs for less serious reasons (injury rather than anything terminal) and it's a wonder drug. I only wish there was a human form of it because I'd love to cut down on the number of painkillers I'm prescribed!
Metacam is an NSAID, we absolutely have human equivalents! Ibroprofen and naproxen to name a few.
There is metacam (meloxicam) humans, at least in the US. I took it for my knees.
As I'm morphine immune person I agree with you. Naproxen works for some things
Meloxicam is the name it started with for people.
@@cindyrussell7017The oxicam drugs give me terrible headaches 😢 and as far as naproxen, I might as well eat a piece of candy, for all rhe good it does. 😢
OUCH!That cow is lucky to have crossed your path to get some relief. 👍😊☹️❤️
I'm sure I've just seen a photograph of you after rescuing a poor sheep that was stranded on a beach for two years in Scotland!!! Well done ❤ this story broke my heart knowing that she was trying to call out to passing kayaks. I hope she's safe and happy now?
You could see her relief when she skipped away, amazing work as always!
I've had a toe infection in the past, and I have to say, you wrap those claws so much better than most of my doctors and nurses ever did. Keeping medicines in place helps healing so much.
Well done on the sheep rescue too!
Just what I needed on this Friday afternoon! Thanks man
Graham, you take so much pride and care in your job... that is one of the reasons I enjoy watching your channel.
It's great what you're doing 💖 your very much appreciated 💖
You're doing great work helping these animals.
It was wonderful to see you skipping along!! 😅Thanks for taking such good care of the cows' hooves!! I'm sure it feels great to help relieve their pain!!! 😊❤
I can't wait to see how much she's improved the next time you visit her
Hey there. I am a aspiring farmer from Germany. I love to watch your Videos. I always find it fascinating how little things can help animals so much less. Thank you so much you are fantastic
👋😊🇺🇸
I love watching you help those amazing animals 💗
My vet describes Metacam when my cats are sick or operated and it is really a good medication :) happy to hear larger animals get this too when needed :)
Prescribes?
You and the team are performing so much relief for these girls. Love watching your videos.
As someone who started Kendo a few months back, Whenever you talk about 'imagining your soul being bruised, swollen, tender and painful, I don't even have to imagine it. Keep doing the good work.
I walk on the insides (the arch part on the side of the foot) of my feet, and if I walk too much or for too long it honestly feels like what I imagine a broken foot would feel like; it’s super inconvenient when you’re on vacation and are doing things
Spotted you on the news Graham, well done on helping to rescue Fiona the sheep!
My toxic trait is that I love seeing the cow’s hoof give a bit where the access is. I love animals, and I love seeing them get the care they need by such a great team.
Good job! I never knew cows feet could get such problems! I heard the caves bawling! I wonder if my dad took care of our cow's feet?! She was always in the pasture!!
8:16 I can imagine what that pain is like, after years of plantar fasciitis. Nothing like feeling like one’s feet are full of broken glass!
Just like Graeme takes care of these lovely feet, always take good care of your feet!
2M subscribers for such an amazing selfless man. Thank you Graham. You touch more hearts for more reasons than you’ll ever know! And you have 2M loving supportive caring subscribers that gave your back until forever
I love to hear the cows talking. Delightful.
I’m totally enamored by your work! Thanks, Graem for sharing!❤
Congratulations on 2million subscribers to the herd of which i am happily a part of!! I have msgd b4. I grew up on a small beef farm in northern Alberta, Canada. I kno that bawling baby sound lol. Love what you do... and on behalf of the massive bovine herd you manage, thank you 💙 🤗
Thank you for sharing the love that you have for farm animals and I enjoy watching your family too. May God bless you may God bless your family.
I tell you, other hoof trimming pops up in my feed, but you are the best trimmer. Very gentle and nice! Thank u for taking such good care of these babies
Hello from Chicagoland, USA! Grew up on a farm in Louisiana. We raised Black Angus - showed them in livestock shows and such:) Miss living on acres and acres of land and waking up to cows mooing and sheep baaaahhing. Love watching your videos. We didn't have anyone who came out and trimmed our herd's hooves per say, but my daddy would from time to time take care of issues. I showed my older brother one of your videos the other day (one with an infected hoof) and he said he could just smell that video because it's just an awful smell LOL:)
Hope you’re hands have recovered good after the burns I still have issues with mine old second degree burns that happend in 2005
If I may, a quick spelling lesson. Sole is the bottom of the foot/hoof that touches the ground. Soul is the spiritual part that is touched by your loving care. Thanks for your care.
The girls are so sweet and gentle
Your attitude and concern is so honorable..
@The Hoof GP - hello 👋 just wanted to say that, I thank God for the work that you do and these cows that yall treat & help so that their life can be better. I love animals and it kills me to see them in any sort of discomfort. Thank you for uploading the videos that yall do. Thank you for caring. Hope yall have a blessed day! 😊
Your explanation is clear , it's good how the cows walking changes with one visit and block
Good to see you on the new helping Britons loneliest sheep 👍👍
Aww those girls are feeling better thanks to you. Good luck on your Invisalign journey! Mine was totally worth it.
Congratulations on your 2 million subscribers you guys do a great job and are amazing to watch and that poor lass deffo walking much better, the pain she must have been in ...
You are a man who loves his job. You do such a great job for these ladies. Keep going.❤❤
I’ve just seen Graham and his friend the sheep farmer I’m my news feed rescuing a sheep who’s been stranded for two years - these are guys with climbing experience?!?!? Really HGP Good for you (who did the climbing?) you really are a bunch of good guys 🤩
you are such a kind man...with the most gentle heart
Love seeing the cows feeling better after a pedi from you.
Metacam does wonders. I take Meloxicam(metacam started as a human drug) for hip dysplasia
Yes, meloxicam is an NSAID, like Ibuprofen, Naproxen and Diclofenac. But has much less side effects on the digestivesystem. So, less nausea and diarrhea/constipation issues.
Ive watched a lot of these guys doing this work, never done it myself but i do farm both crop and cattle. But this man, seems to be one of the best in the world really.
Great job, well done, hope you had a Great holiday x
Metacam does have some antibiotic properties! It was developed for pain relief but was found to be very effective in the treatment of mastitis etc.
Metacam is meloxicam (brand name Mobic in humans, in the US). It has no antibiotic effects; it is an anti-inflammatory drug like ibuprofen or naproxen.
@@erikawanner7355 Yes, after I typed it I realised it was anti inflammatory. But YT won’t allow me to change it.
Your passion and care for these cows is what is draws people to your channel I think or for me, even people that have never been around cows. It is inspiring, you make it funny but informative a new video is the highlight of my day. I wish I could find my passion and use it for the greater good like you. The world needs more men like you. Congrats on your success, may you continue to be blessed in your endeavors.
I love seeing these videos! Even if there isn't much but a basic trim to be done, it's nice to see 😊
I love how you're able to help improve the well-being of these cows
Loved seeing you happily skipping along behind the cow. ❤❤
We were close to Dumfries when we visited northern England. I wish we would've drove by
Always enjoy watching your videos
I think you all did a wonderful job holding down the fort in this video!
I watch a lot of your videos, I don't really know why since I don't own cows, live near cows, or have any dealings with cows unless they are on a bun but you make it look like something we should ALL be doing to make their existence as comfortable as possible. Also, the time lapse makes it seem like they are in the crush for hours and yet it's only minutes. You do a wonderful service to these animals. Most people don't understand that without these animals as a food source, we would have a much more difficult existence, so it's in our best interest to take care if them because they take care of us.
I really enjoy watching a skilled craftsman at work
Thank you so much for helping this sweet cow, poor girl
Love the skipping Kevin lol. Awesome job you all do.
Lol, I was watching this video and my 19 month old granddaughter saw you (Mr Hoof GP) and she said Dada. You do look very similar to my son- in- law. I've got all 4 granddaughters hooked on your videos. ❤
So glad she's under your care.❤❤❤
Great, great video! Thank you, Graeme!
At the first farm, I was just thinking "that's a chatty herd," when you pipe up and explain why.
Glad you included a trim where something was clearly wrong... but there was nothing a trimmer can find or do.
Keep up the good work!
Greeting from the USA ... It's fascinating to me that I live in a city on the other side of the world (ish) and yet these videos are so compelling. Thanks dor for what you do 😊
Graeme I have invisalign as well and I already had a lisp before getting them. It was nearly impossible to say s’s at the start. But once my teeth got straighter and I got used to the aligners it’s much easier
I love that he constantly tells you that no animal is in pain they are just loud lol.
I really needed a smile & a giggle today. The giggle is from you skipping along after that cow. TY!!!
Congratulations on reaching 200,000 subscribers! Love watching your videos! 😍
2.03 million
Funny,i dont have a cow or a ranch, but i enjoy watching this cows got their pain relieved
Believe it or not I can understand because the underneath side of my right foot is open. I have an infection that has entered the small bones of the foot called osteomyelitis. I have an external fixation device on my right leg and foot to keep my foot off the ground and that allows me not to put pressure on the open wound. I feel so bad for the cow and really any animal that has a foot issue. I have been going through my problems for close to three years now. Hopefully this cow heals quickly. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work that you do. God Bless!
Well, the two of you skipping out the clip was hilarious! It is still so satisfying watching you carving away delaminated hoof horn!💕🇨🇦
Graham I love your videos. Feel like I could trim a hoof because I have wTched so many of your vids. Lol. Not reallg but I sometimes watch others and I am like, NO, you arent doing it right!! Keep on hoofing!!😊
very compassionate Graeme! Thanks!
Thank you for this video Graeme.
So cool. You make them 🐄 feel so much better. TFS ❤
Ok I live In Southern California and I saw a Crush for the first time In my life. Most places in Southern California is too hot for cows but there are some high valleys cool enough for cows. The Crush was green and there were guys on horse. You could tell they were working on the cow’s hooves.
I really like the way you explain things and how you take your time to find the problem on the cow😊
wow, great job finding the problem. looking forward to follow up videos of this cow. thanks for posting such great content!
what a great job you did with her hoof!!
I spent almost three years in Invisalign trays, Graeme. I remember hearing my voice go wonky for a while. I hope you get the best results. 👍
Wow, that black dot was tiny. Good job spotting it.
I have Invisalign as well. because two teeth drifted and my bite was off. hate a slimy part after 5 hours. I'm always brushing them clean. I'm on week 8 of 11 and it has made a differences. Keep at it.
Hi from a midwest state, Illinois, in the USA! 😁
👋😊
Great job, Graeme!
I have tried to explain to my kids how fascintating these videos are :)
I love your work! Greetings from Catalonia (Spain) Mireia.
👋😊🇺🇸
Merry Christmas Graham ' Hoof GP ' and Family 2023. I pray you have a better Christmas than me. I lost my spouse of 47 years this past October 29 th., 2023 🎄🤶🎅🧑🎄🧑🎄🇨🇦😭
Great trim(s), Graeme! Thanks also for showing the real time it takes for the glue to initially set. That is way quicker than I was thinking. And yes, they should rename that orange liquid goodness to eye-odine, hahaha! Cheers, Frank
Love this channel..Thank you!♡♡♡♡
Now if you could just get Craig and Kevin to link arms with you and skip away singing “We’re Off To See The Wizard…”😂😂😂
from your videos it looks like you are doing a very important job for the cows to be able to walk smoothly not everyone has inflammation or something wrong with their hooves but still if I understand correctly their hooves have to be trimmed like human nails so how do they do it in nature how do wild cows survive without this "trimming" thank you for the answer
Your Invisiligns are not impeding your speech what so ever. Great Job Kevin and Graeme!
I have a bite plate--it's like invisilign on steroids (keeps me from grinding my teeth {bruxelosis}). It gives me a minor speech impediment. Big improvement over grinding my teeth!
@@Cricket2731 I had full on metal mouth braces ALL thru highschool and into college... That took a hot minute to figure out how to speak without insecurities of a speech impediment. 😂🤣💜
