All the new stuff coming out like the digital screen optics with zoom and additional digital zoom 100% elimination of parallax and focus issues stacked with inferred and night vision all these expensive optics and accessories and going to be outdated and subpar to the new stuff don't waste your money Holosun got some good ones coming soon the new military vortex will have a civilian version soon coming out in just a few months and everyone will follow within the year. they also have range finders and auto radicle adjust and windage. We are at the beginning of the next evolution in optics and they will change the gun world like cell phones and computers did to business and media just not that long ago.

They're making a civ version for cheaper.

why tf are lasers 2k? aint no way a couple laser emitters cost more than a few hundred bucks. its all mark up.
Then why, at this point, haven't any garage engineers produced any cheap lasers or nods for us "normal people"??
@@billydanzz Laser diodes are very inexpensive. These companies have no real reason to charge as much as they do, they should be charging a few hundred dollars at most.
Perhaps then that's your calling.. to come up with a more cost effective one

VCSEL illuminator but what about laser.
Doesn’t matter, it’s never going to be full power and most people don’t use full power anyways. VSCEL is what matters most.
Laser on the FP version is strong AF. Luckily you’re able to program a “half power” mode where it cuts down the power of the IR laser by 50% when on dual high. Rated at 30mW Vis high, 35mW IR high. Very bright. Low power is 4.7mW vis and .7mW IR.
Are the civ models actually useable like the civ MAWL’s?
I know you made this comment a while ago and you probably have the answer now but I'll answer it anyway. The illuminator is probably going to be one of the best on the market, because of the vcsel laser diode used, this is what the mawl and the DIR-V use, vcsel illuminators are much more powerful (and cleaner) at lower mw than the older edge and center emitters used on older lasers such as the peq-15 and ngal. Also, the beam divergence really does seem incredible and the throw lever is a great design. The laser pointer on the other hand, is more than likely going to be the exact same as other civ lams, serviceable but mediocre.
Here come all the somogear enjoyers to compare this to some cheap chinese offering. These 2 are not even comparable

What does “near IR” aiming laser mean??
It means that the beam it’s emitting is near infrared on the electromagnetic spectrum.

2k for lights, lasers and IR? You’re out your damn mind! Not only that, but the civilian versions will be Nerf down. At this point if you want, a Chinese made one which is cheaper quality, but will give you that full power.

It is a lot but it’s an expensive niche market. It’s closest competitors is the MAWL and NGAL. Those are both double the price +. It’s all relative.
a peq15 will go for around 1900 used and they are pretty outdated. more modern ir lasers like the mawl go for 3,500 and the ngals go for 6. if its as good as they say they have a chance to dominate the ir laser market

That’s a fine price for a brand new VCSEL LAM. Cheaper then all othe rVCSEL options, MAWL/NGAL/raid xe

Not a great product sales person never showed how it works a demonstration should’ve shown the laser light a how they work together I know there’s four (4) types lasers that would’ve been cool 😎 if they showed them together at the same time 🤨🧐🤓😎🥸🤔🤫🫣🫢
