@@SpookyFow hahahaha yes that's true. But we're talking about soon-to-be-available $15k quads which for years were $40k-50k (and mostly off limits to civilians). Moreover, most people dipping their toe into the NVG market are getting $2K PVS14s or even cheaper Digital NV (recognizing that they aren't necessarily comparable). The ocean is wide and deep for NVG/Thermals, but once you're in, you're in.
It's easy to make fun of IG Operators/"LARPers"/Airsoft, but at the end of the day, they still: help normalize NVG/2A, support companies that are making NVG, create demand that drives innovation and pushes prices down, and ultimately when SHTF it's that many more people with NV capability when there is an actual need for it.
Dude, I read the comment and then your name, FULL SEND. Hopefully that's how digital can be pushed to not suck and be affordable. Stay Safe and Stay Spicy! - Taylor
And this ladies and gentlemen is how you don’t do an interview. You brought on an expert and then went ahead and did almost all of the talking, then you start explaining his area of expertise to him.
Last year, he kind of sat back and let people talk. This year, he's running his suck about everything he's learned. Dude, STFU and let people talk. We're watching the video to hear from them, not you. Augie at several points had this vibe like "umm... who's interviewing who, here?" Ask questions, don't pontificate, holy shit.
Looks like TNVC now has the ECOTI priced at $8,900 now (instead of the previous $9,500), so hopefully the new TAD will be a little bit less than the $6,500 quoted price.
What? Every CODI I've encountered on the second hand market is in the $3k ish range.. I know this because when I was first getting into the hobby I was torn between a CODI on a single tube, duales without a CODI, etc. Everyone kinda just toasted me, calling the CODI a gimmick. They were around $2800 to $3500 when I was considering one. Regardless I'm always happy to view innovation. Though I know we're right on the cusp of making analog obsolete, with digital being king. Once digital is comparable, pricing is going to plummet. It's an exciting era, and I can't wait until everyone is producing a comparable, affordable option. I suspect analog units will retain their value due to nostalgia, and price of creating, but I gurantee within 10 years digital tubes will be under $1500 per set. Could you imagine?! Hell look how cheap and Gucci Thermal had become! My ReapIr cost 10x that of a thermal hunting scope, and is nearly 10 years old now...
Is there anything better than the BREACH for scanning ? It doesn’t seem that impressive to me, it’s always refreshing image and identification range / image is not great.
@@mattg9971 MTM is listed usually around 3k and the iRay is 5k edit: The Breach is not worth 2k in my opinion, it’s battery life of about 90 min per CR123 and grainy image are no better than a $500 Leupold.
I feel like this is the year of the Nightvision and Thermal
i hope cause i been thinking about some
Ppl been saying that for about 5yrs lol
Thermal is only getting better. I can’t wait for more fusion of NVGs with thermal overlays personally
For $15k-$20k for a helmet set up, who isn't ready to pull the trigger on that?

Airsoft. Because organized Militia training is severely frowned upon by government worshipping Fudds, and _'guns are bad, mmmkay'_ Dudds.
Welcome to ARFCOM. I love You.
Thank you for putting that into Layman's terms for us, I had no idea what he was saying 😂👍
No worries!

FINALLY!!!!!!! Glad I held off on buying the carbon. Only needed the basic bump but wanted the removable shroud.
Idk about civilian laser systems. They charge the most premium of premiums for cucked
Augee was also repping at the Men’s Warehouse booth at Shot Show this year.
Great video ! thx
Dude stop butting in so much…. Your viewers know what that shit means
Augie is a saint.

The way he throw he’s hat on the ground 😂 4:36
This interviewer is the worst at interrupting people
Its annoying af
When is the opscore bump with removable shroud going to be available?
Thanks
What's that camera looking thing on the side of the helmet with the panos and Optics1 TAD?
I hope TNVC makes some good video on the TAD.
I got some a villain weapon systems on my dbal d2 and man it’s awesome

You probably encountered the original COTI. The ECOTI has a higher res sensor and all of the AR/networking features mentioned in this video.
now the trick is for TNVC to keep product line "In Stock"
Interview was cringe... gotta learn those interpersonal skills. Slightly took the focus away from the product
😎👍🏾
That a new low-profile BNVS dovetail for the artemis goggle? Looks like a remote-power only version and a lot less tall
Hoping one day yall do Ops Core helmets in DCU
Youre trying to look like a GWOT Seal I see
I cannot listen to this guy interview people
If I hear ig flex one more time
Co-ord-in-I-cate. That was good, he should have just rolled with it.
7:00 I don’t think it’s true that the Tor-mini IR laser can be seen with thermal. I wish this was the case
Would like to see it if so.
It’s aligned on the thermal, and although you can’t see it with the thermal, it’s meant for you to activate it for other users under nods to see
I had a hard time paying attention after I noticed he was pushing his glasses back every three seconds
Someone please tighten his damn glasses!!
So what are the odds of getting Ecosi to play with?
Horrible choice of words 2A propaganda

Not for $2000.
@@mattg9971 I was considering the iRay but I’m not sure if of the quality for twice the price. Even the MTM but don’t know anyone with one.
Iray mh25 or rh25, nvision nox 18.
@@messagesystem333 not for $2k though

I don't know what's worse, unobtainium or unaffordium.
Little bit more affordable means 8k not 9k lol... 1 day Timmy 1day I'll buy is both a set
