I've got the jack of all trades for my elemental build but I honestly don't feel the difference with or without it. 45% damage should be impactful but isn't
First, I love this build. After running it for a bit, I would only change two things: Zero Hour replaced with the Zero Divide, which still gives you good DPS, and change the Akari Warband for the Ring of Flawed Beauty (one of the new ones). I ended up dealing 6200-7k per shot in the test range and was melting bosses without too much difficulty. I very much you putting the time and energy into this build it is absolutely amazing nonetheless!
Thanks! The ring of flawed beauty was in the game since it released and I would only ever use it if I knew I can hit the weakspot like in shahala or ravager fight. If you take it to nightweaver or Lydusa then it will do much less dmg unless you combine it with bore
Plasma Cutter has always been one of my favorite weapons and now there is a build to use it. I have two: - Easy weakspot boss -> Zero Divide, Prob. Cord, Zania's Malice, Braided Thorns and Ring of Flawed Beauty. This build has defense also because you don't need to be at light weight for Zero Hour and does consistent damage. - No weakspot -> Zero Divide / Zero Hour, Prob. Cord, Braided Thorns, Burden of the gambler and a third free slot (black cat if i'm alone, extra defense, offering stone for +15% all damage...) For me, the problem with Akari Band is that I'm really bad at perfect dodges 🙃
Yeah, I basically made this bow build Saturday. Using haste set up though. Almost no charge up time for the 4 shots, and it just one taps almost everything.
@@austinn5791 the gold ring now, I was doing the other set up with bleed until I discovered that ring. Lol been playing with a lot of various build setup. So far I think the highest dps I got was doing the 50% health amulet with haste, but it's just not super viable.
Loving the Genesis. My set up Amulet and rings are a little different but I rolled a damage reduction legendary, which is okay I guess but damn after all that work in my prism the rng is so annoying
So I tried your setup it is pretty good but then I tried it my way and this is my setup. Archetype combination: Hunter's focus & rampage Amulet: zero hour Rings: burden of the destroyer, probability chord, Archer's crest and offering Stone. Weapons: obviously Genesis along with supercharger and anguish. At the end of my damaged loop I had a damage output of 242,206. But I will admit it was very hard to let go of zero divide for this bill... I hate looking for ammo. 😄 Inside note my prism is not as flashy as yours.
@@aquamayne8168 That does essentially provide you infinite ammo as well but that pretty much just limits you to the bow, which can screw you in a fight with multiple enemies. Zero Divide at least allows you to use something like Enigma for fighting multiple enemies, but I guess a good melee weapon can help in that regard as well.
One question because i ahvent used thousand cuts yet, but Why thousand cuts over momentum? Momentum gives more crit damage and crit chance for each crit you get and max's out at 30% for each instead of 25% for thousand cuts
i'm noticing a trend that now build videos are just showcasing OP prisms which i can't seem to level up quickly despite the hours and hours i've spent in boss rush. And even when i finally get there, there's no guarantee i'll get that particular legendary fragment. it's kind of killing my motivation to play anymore. Edit: Just had to end a boss rush run because enemies got stuck in a wall and nothing could hit them. No more would spawn either, so couldn't get the aberration to show up. EXP gain is basically non-existent if you don't complete, so basically all that time wasted. Yeah i'm done til a patch out. This DLC was not ready for release.

Most of them are modding their game to boost their XP. As far as im aware they cannot just make whatever Prism they want, but they can multiply the XP they get therefore maxing out Prisms much much quicker
in the genesis build, if I don't pop the gunslinger skill the bow charge time is really bad, I would add some more charge time reduction because of that, maybe instead of the crit chance ring
It is all preference really. The DPS is very similar but my setup uses less ammo so you dont need the ammo boxes. If you want to go for quicker charge up then anastasias and feathery binding would be better. I use this bow for bosses only and for regular mobbing the enigma just blasts everything
@@Mr-Nacho420 also what I've noticed and it is probably a bug, the new ring (Tolerance Band) it increases the Perfect Charge Window, it says it is 5% but I can release fire button WAAY after that window and it still registers as perfect charge, really handy. Also it decreases charge time so it gives 2 very good things. I know it is easy to hit perfect charge but sometimes when fighting a boss you will have to hold for a bit more and u lose damage, with this ring it is no longer an issue
I run without Akari and use feathery binding, archers, prob cord and braided thorns. I really like the boost from feathery binding but have found that and more Crit is enough. The extra 10% speed from haste is nice but losing that Crit sucks. While it is nice to double feathery bindings effect, 10% extra makes quite a difference on its own.
Does rapid firing outweigh the bonus from going invisible? I remember that was a thing for the crescent moon build, but don't recall the bonus from waiting that extra moment.

Idk what happened in the time I took off (Last played during the first DLC) but I was doing way less dmg in the N'erud DLC with the same crescent bow build, topping out at 3.something instead of 5.something per arrow, so I figured something changed, but since you're using it here maybe it was something else. @@RauNash well I think that difficulty does not matter however I'm not sure. The more bosses you kill the more rewards you get so o would go for 19 if you are able to finish it.
Thanks for the builds! For some reason my perfect charges are doing almost 200 less damage than yours (2189 vs 2388) while my failed perfects are doing the exact same as yours. Do you have any idea why?
Yeah It would. If you dont mind swapping nebula for tech22 with bore on it then go for it! I personally love the nebula for its power to deal with small enemies and for perma upkeep of corroded on bosses. :)
When you get a prism to 51 and want to reroll it, do you have to start the xp grind all the way over or do you get the xp that it had previously in it?
Unfortunately you lose all your progress but if you got good fusions on it I would wait because they will introduce a way to reroll legendary powers sometime this month I believe
I don't think there is anything in game right now that does more dmg than plasma cutter. The monorail can hit up to 120k in one shot but its consistent dps is about 7k while plasma has 12-14k dps
Try Genisis with Feathery Binding and Tranquil Heart+ Anastasija's Inspiration (perma haste) and ofc supercharger and it draw&shoot at least as fast as the normal bow :D Like Akopalypse Annihilation i did my first one with Royal Hunting Bow and just today with the top named things and with shoot/dodge timings it felt same comfortable. Just the damage of Genisis is much better :D
Yeah that's also a nice way to play it but with the setup you mentioned I am running out of ammo quickly. Its not really a problem for me since I can just pop ammo box but I wanted to make this build for all players, including the ones that dont have enough scrap to buy ammo boxes.
Mr Nacho i was wonder if you have tried making a build with the new Canine Keepsake i struggle making grey health builds and would like to see ur expertise in build crafting
I have tried it but its really hard to pull off. The best thing I can recommend is either go for ring of phantom pain or ring of omens. With the phantom pain go for the broken heart relic. This way you will have canine active 100% of the time. Other than that it depends what you want to do, skills, gun dmg, dots, modspam etc.
I don't think it's worth it to go full glass cannon anymore for the gauntlet, it's just too risky. Also that prism is carrying the majority of the DPS, so maybe adding some tanky rings would be better. 🤔
Yeah if you want to balance things out then sure. It's not really worth it if you die but if you can dodge then it will be quicker to blast through the boss rush. My previous builds incorporate nice damage and tankiness. This one is strict damage and nothing else :D
Jack of all trades is almost as good as sharpshooter for a ranged build so you won't feel too much difference but if you want to minmax then hell yeah go for it!
@@Mr-Nacho420 Honestly I feel like Jack Of All Trades could be better. At least for bossing, I mean if that boosts All damage by 45% and you set yourself up spam mod, skill, status and range damage, those all would do 45% more.

i do think that this build is good but for build showcase do not use prism with op legendary, at lease not until people can re-roll it. It over shadow everything. You can use a stick and it will still hit like a truck with that legendary perk.
Not really. Even with this legendary power and maxed prism the blackmaw does like 7k dps meanwhile these can do 12-14k dps. The weapons and build matters
For me its more consistent as hunters focus requires you to activate it and it can sometimes be tricky to do so. Thats the same reason why I didnt go with ring of flawed beauty, I wanted the DPS to be realistic.
I pretty much made a similar build thats comfort for apoc runs with heavy armor. Those abberations with hexer can melt through that light armor and rrally ruin q good run lol
i'd like to add that i don't think high crit chance is good with high fire rate , i think you should aim for crit damage or normal damage rather than crit chance when you have high fire rate
Surprisingly tanky too, would think you'd get 1 shot in Apoc. Used the bow build in a veteran run, the damage plus the traits just speedrun it especially with other players, really hoping they don't nerf it. Don't even have a good Prism either but still getting over 7k dps with the same setup. Now if only there were worthwhile apoc rewards... 15% just ain't it. 50% maybe, if there were better items other than shards as well
@@Mr-Nacho420 It'd be cool to see if they do, but yeah even playing on apoc just has 0 incentive right now. It can be made easy with good builds, but regardless those same builds will still clear Veteran way faster for basically the same reward
Why use akari war band? U hardly ever activate it and is esther situational when the goal is to just go in and melt the boss. Wouldn't something likr probability cord be better?
I have probability cord on both setups and akari I personally like. You dodge a lot with this build so its quite easy to activate it assuming that the boss is still alive :D If you want to go full dps then go for anastasias ring for haste or for zanias for weakspot damage
@@Mr-Nacho420Not sure how they would approach this but it would be awesome if they didn’t nerf this kind of insane DPS, but instead made it so that you had to forego a ton of defense to make it work. I know this game has some of its own RSTR (from dark souls) equivalents, but maybe much more effective versions
@Mr-Nacho420 so the build I'm working on uses the permanent grey health legendary fragment and the do 100% more damage bit take 100% more damage, on apocalypse you get one-shot with light armor anyway, eat 1 mystery jerky and try not to get smacked, not an easy build but huge numbers

It is very good but for csavior you might want tome way to prevent mod charge decay so you'd have to sacrifice a ring slot and 10 trait points but it would do a lot of damage as well :)
@@Mr-Nacho420nope, just activate the mod without firing it and you won’t decay any mod - then deactivate it whenever you want to shoot and you now have 100% stage 5 mod uptime!
Technically not the "Highest Possible DPS Build", Canine Keepsake & Ring of the Dammed aswell as Brutal ( Legendary Fragment) would greatly increase your dmg.
Oh yeah! This is a kind of a build where you play with your friends and someone can pick you up or when you are going for speed kills. My other builds are for comfy boss rush, this one is adrenaline and being on the verge of death all the time

Are you sure you have everything fully levelled? Like mutators lvl10, archetypes lvl10, weapons lvl10 and full prism completed with sharpshooter legendary power?

Yeah that is more of a flex slot. The build is very squishy so I would personally swap it for ring of crisis or black cat band but if you manage to activate akari then it does way more than atonement
Yeah if you go for something like ring of the flawed beauty or brutality legendary power then you will get higher dps but at a cost of it being only on a dummy in ward 13 :D
@@Mr-Nacho420 i can sustain it on bosses, usually overkill my bosses, plus dummy DPS is a good metric to go off of for players who can put damage on a boss and actually dodge

On the bow you also get 15% crit chance from the gunslinger skill, so when active with the hunter skill thats 105% crit chance

momentum was nerfed and now it maxes at 20% crit chance and crit damage so for plasma cutter thousand cuts is better. For any other weapon go momentum

I rock that amulet a LOT, 15% extra damage plus infinite ammo. Which works well with the Genesis bow.

Yeah, the Zero Divide amulet is a godsend for guns that have ammo issues for sure.

Very impressive. But I'll stick to my ring of spears spam. Gets me a bit less DPS, but I can shoot while sprinting
Personally I would swap akari war band for tolerance band for faster charge speed and more consistent perfect shots

For this weapon its better to fire more often so shroud just does less DPS. The shroud is better for other bows though

How do you get the zero hour amulet?
It's just a random world drop in N'erud. The best way to get it tho is boss rush I think.

It's very good but the dps on C Savior is a bit lower. It will however work very well with the same setup as plasma cutter

Try Genisis with Feathery Binding and Tranquil Heart+ Anastasija's Inspiration (perma haste) and ofc supercharger and it draw&shoot at least as fast as the normal bow :D
Like Akopalypse Annihilation i did my first one with Royal Hunting Bow and just today with the top named things and with shoot/dodge timings it felt same comfortable. Just the damage of Genisis is much better :D
Yeah that's also a nice way to play it but with the setup you mentioned I am running out of ammo quickly. Its not really a problem for me since I can just pop ammo box but I wanted to make this build for all players, including the ones that dont have enough scrap to buy ammo boxes.

Mr Nacho i was wonder if you have tried making a build with the new Canine Keepsake i struggle making grey health builds and would like to see ur expertise in build crafting
I have tried it but its really hard to pull off. The best thing I can recommend is either go for ring of phantom pain or ring of omens. With the phantom pain go for the broken heart relic. This way you will have canine active 100% of the time. Other than that it depends what you want to do, skills, gun dmg, dots, modspam etc.

They moved the fragments to a separate tab called fragments. Hope this helps

My build, without Prism, is pretty similiar. I just use Zero divide for unlimited ammo on Genesis.

I don't think it's worth it to go full glass cannon anymore for the gauntlet, it's just too risky. Also that prism is carrying the majority of the DPS, so maybe adding some tanky rings would be better. 🤔
Yeah if you want to balance things out then sure. It's not really worth it if you die but if you can dodge then it will be quicker to blast through the boss rush. My previous builds incorporate nice damage and tankiness. This one is strict damage and nothing else :D

I have a prism with jack of all trades. So flat 45% bonus damage. But I'm thinking I need to start building a second prism to get sharp shooter.
Jack of all trades is almost as good as sharpshooter for a ranged build so you won't feel too much difference but if you want to minmax then hell yeah go for it!
@@Mr-Nacho420 Honestly I feel like Jack Of All Trades could be better. At least for bossing, I mean if that boosts All damage by 45% and you set yourself up spam mod, skill, status and range damage, those all would do 45% more.

i do think that this build is good but for build showcase do not use prism with op legendary, at lease not until people can re-roll it. It over shadow everything. You can use a stick and it will still hit like a truck with that legendary perk.
Not really. Even with this legendary power and maxed prism the blackmaw does like 7k dps meanwhile these can do 12-14k dps. The weapons and build matters
Why hunters mark over focus?
For me its more consistent as hunters focus requires you to activate it and it can sometimes be tricky to do so. Thats the same reason why I didnt go with ring of flawed beauty, I wanted the DPS to be realistic.
I pretty much made a similar build thats comfort for apoc runs with heavy armor. Those abberations with hexer can melt through that light armor and rrally ruin q good run lol
Oh yeah. Abberations have caused me much more troubles than any of the bosses

i'd like to add that i don't think high crit chance is good with high fire rate , i think you should aim for crit damage or normal damage rather than crit chance when you have high fire rate

Surprisingly tanky too, would think you'd get 1 shot in Apoc. Used the bow build in a veteran run, the damage plus the traits just speedrun it especially with other players, really hoping they don't nerf it. Don't even have a good Prism either but still getting over 7k dps with the same setup. Now if only there were worthwhile apoc rewards... 15% just ain't it. 50% maybe, if there were better items other than shards as well
I think honestly that they will introduce new difficulty in the future but Im not sure about it.
@@Mr-Nacho420 It'd be cool to see if they do, but yeah even playing on apoc just has 0 incentive right now. It can be made easy with good builds, but regardless those same builds will still clear Veteran way faster for basically the same reward

It would be fine here but it does not scale with crits so it would actually not heal us very much.
Why use akari war band? U hardly ever activate it and is esther situational when the goal is to just go in and melt the boss. Wouldn't something likr probability cord be better?
I have probability cord on both setups and akari I personally like. You dodge a lot with this build so its quite easy to activate it assuming that the boss is still alive :D If you want to go full dps then go for anastasias ring for haste or for zanias for weakspot damage

I know this game has some of its own RSTR (from dark souls) equivalents, but maybe much more effective versions
The new strongest amulet is the Canine one, it gives more all damage, more crit chance and more crit damage
yeah but you need some tech for the grey hp to be there so you sacrifice a ring slot or two for it. Also you are at 50% hp so you are way less tanky
@Mr-Nacho420 so the build I'm working on uses the permanent grey health legendary fragment and the do 100% more damage bit take 100% more damage, on apocalypse you get one-shot with light armor anyway, eat 1 mystery jerky and try not to get smacked, not an easy build but huge numbers

Yeah if I were to release it every time perfectly it would be more DPS but it's not really doable in a real game for most people

When it drops items that you already have then it changes them into scrap and since I have all items then scrap is all that I can get

I honestly haven't checked how much currency a boss usually drops but I thought it is less than this.

It is very good but for csavior you might want tome way to prevent mod charge decay so you'd have to sacrifice a ring slot and 10 trait points but it would do a lot of damage as well :)
@@Mr-Nacho420nope, just activate the mod without firing it and you won’t decay any mod - then deactivate it whenever you want to shoot and you now have 100% stage 5 mod uptime!
Corrupted savior tho is ammo hungry so you sorta need to run the infinite ammo amulet (still get +15% damage!)

Oh yeah! This is a kind of a build where you play with your friends and someone can pick you up or when you are going for speed kills. My other builds are for comfy boss rush, this one is adrenaline and being on the verge of death all the time

It is by no means necessary to have this prism and the bow or plasma cutter will have still higher dps than any other weapon

Yeah that is more of a flex slot. The build is very squishy so I would personally swap it for ring of crisis or black cat band but if you manage to activate akari then it does way more than atonement

this damage is good but it's not the highest, i got my plasma cutter @ 16k dps on the dummy, plus crescent moon is higher DPS
Yeah if you go for something like ring of the flawed beauty or brutality legendary power then you will get higher dps but at a cost of it being only on a dummy in ward 13 :D
@@Mr-Nacho420 i can sustain it on bosses, usually overkill my bosses, plus dummy DPS is a good metric to go off of for players who can put damage on a boss and actually dodge
