Awesome Informative Explanation mate! Here's a thought that occured to me. What if you *(and I know people prob gonna dislike the idea, as it destroys the rng thing)* just before you hit lvl 51 *(And by that I mean, to make sure you are still lvl 50, and only need a fraction of xp, to hit lvl 51)* , you back up your save file. Feed prism to get lvl 51, and check the legendary prism buffs. Ye don't like it, restore backed up save file, and feed again, to see if you got the desired legendary. I'm pretty sure once you hit lvl 51, it will *safe* the 3 legendary prism buffs for the choice into the save file to prevent this exact idea of overcoming rng god by backing up save files. So to overcome THAT, you simply make sure you are missing a fraction of xp, before hitting lvl 51 for the legendary prisms to roll into the save file. At the very worst, they'll probably just save the 3 legendary prisms at lvl 0, to prevent overcoming the rng gods when backing up save files. Hope that ain't the case tho. Just pointing that out, because there's over. 40. legendary. prisms. According to the devs. And you only get to choose 3 of 'em. So to me, that sounds like a reeaaally low chance to get what you want for the amount of grinds you need to do. Like you displayed, that's a REALLY BIG grind especially with the 4 fusion prisms. Haven't gotten to test it yet, as I myself got to reach lvl 50->51. That's the kind of rng that would fit an mmo, not an action rpg soulslike. But yea, great breakdown!
Awesome info! Breaks down very easily. Still not in love with the insane RNG for legendaries but what can you do. Is boss rush the most efficient farm method right now?
Thanks! I am also not a fan of how hard it is to obtain and how RNG heavy it is but I cant change that. The most efficient way is the 19 boss bossrush run. If you do it then you are like 1/3 way there I think.
@@NightDemon115 you do get a fair xp multiplier from the difficulty but be personally. I would do the easier difficulty just for comfort and consistency. But if you are extremely confident in your build then take advantage of the bonus difficulty points
Wiki says a prism requires roughly 1,350,000 if you don't do any fusions. Since you get 95,000 experience on a survivor gauntlet and runs are usually about an hour, that means you need almost 15.5 hours to max level a prism without fusions. Mr. Nacho, does that feel about right from your prism experience?
what are you doing to grind xp? I don't think apoc is the best difficulty for boss rush cuz I only got a 15% difficulty multiplier xp bonus which is not much for how much longer it takes to kill bosses
Question for you guys, can you get part of a fusion upgrade (i.e., skill cd after getting revitalize) after you already have the fusion? I am trying to stack skill cd so I can free up ring slots, but feeding relic fragments doesn't let me boost the skill cd odds again after getting the fusion. Edit: Didn't have time to finish video before I had to go and it answered my question.
I think you can't. You can only double up if it's one of the normal relic fragments you slot in and out. So you'd have 20% less cooldown in total. 10% from revitalize, and 10% for skill CD.
Started today. Used Losomn Sanatorium farm with Miasma Ritualist/Warden build. Took longer for the first fusion, but it was rolling after that. Fusions in same order as your vid. Working on last one now. This is taxing. The devs need to give us a double XP weekend. 😅
Great guide, I kinda wish you shown the difference in damage on the test dummies without and then with the prism. (I know its high but seeing those rolls in action would have been nice!)
Also from what I'm hearing the legendary perk is not extreme RNG it is actually (seeded RNG) the final lvls put in your prism will help skew the odds of getting the legendary you want for example I'm hoping to get double mod charges so I'm hoping mod dmg mod regen being the last perk I lvl to max will help that legendary appear
So, im just gonna ask this here: When i got the warden archetype i noticed that wallace had 1 more question mark item. Anybody know what that is? I got every archetype, relic maxed out. Edit: its the jealousy prism.
great guide! but what should i do if i roll an enhancement that i dont need?for example i rolled 3 unwanted enchanments. i dont want none of them but it forces me to choose
You need to choose one of them. Then you have a choice to make, either flush the entire prism and start over or wait some time until they introduce a way to reroll a legendary and use a different prism in the meantime.

19 boss gauntlets on Apocalypse is the best but only if you can do it reasonably fast. If for example you can do 2 survivor ones then it is tough to say.
Great video! YOu mentioned you just buy the fragments at dwell? ive played a lot of this game, but mostly on veteran, and i almost have no fragments on Mythic quality, is buying the ones for relic dust the best farmign method?

@@PalpyRNG A lot. Honestly I found out that doing it on apoc is about 115k xp and survivor is 95k so its much easier and faster to do it on survivor with one person for aoe mobs and one person with single target for bosses. So far there is no better way.
@@Mr-Nacho420 Okay thank you so much!! I thought that you were doing it like 2 times on Apo and getting 10lvls+ every time. Thank you for letting people know
You need to do it all over again so the most important part is that you get your fusions correctly. No matter what legendary power you get keep it as you will be able to reroll the legendary power in the near future as far as I know.
It's a little bit of a bummer that there are so few fusion combinations. I was kind of hoping that the prism would enable hybrid builds that didn't work before, like Gun/Mod or Skill/Melee. It seems that the only hybrid builds the devs want us playing is Skill/Mod or Ranged/Melee.
Yeah and on top of that there is one that reduces the charge time and reduces heat buildup. There is only one weapon that can use it and that's corrupted cube gun which is hardly a popular weapon
@@trainedorphan9640the first shot is considered a charge (and can be used with Closed Loop) though subsequent shots aren’t You can just ‘tap’ fire to make every shot a charge at the cost of a slightly slower fire-rate.
I feel like you're looking at the combinations wrong. you can still get Skill/Melee, but they will want to be fused with their own other fusions. Maybe not the penultimate combination of 9 fragments, but there is still some room to make things somewhat powerful.
Thanks for the guide. IMHO, Jack of All Trades is superior to Sharpshooter because it boosts ALL damage including Range Critical Damage and Weakspot damage by 45% whereas Sharpshooter only boosts Ranged Damage (excluding Range Critical Damage and Weakspot Damage which are separate) by a respectable 75%. When you speak to dwell he will be selling some fragments. They will have a red, blue and yellow icons respectively. When you buy one of them there is a chance it will be the one you are missing or he will give you one you already have at which point it will just turn into relic dust so its more gambling
Can you have a certain buff twice in a Prism ? Like certain buff in a 2 different combos (x, y) + (x, z) or one in a combo and one solitary (x, y) + x ?????
Nope. You can only have every unique buff once. If you get firerate you cannot get firerate again no matter what the combination is. It would be super strong to go 5 x crit chance :D
Thats a tough one. i would go for the infinite nerudian energy or 50% cooldown reduction for engineer prime. Other than that jack of all trades is always ok
@@Mr-Nacho420 my thoughts exactly. Honestly, neither the fused shards nor the legendary ones really focus on heavy weapons for the most part. Îm guessing fully upgraded they become mythic fragments. But how do you use Dwell efficiently? From what i could tell, he seems to sells randoms fragments, correct?
Yeah he does sell random fragments and to get the highest tier ones (mythic) you need to level up multiple archetypes to full (lvl10) so make sure that you are using and levelling multiple archetypes :)

Super informative and helpful video! Just curious, but about how much in-game time did it take you to go from resetting that fragment in the video, to the new one being fully leveled up with the max fusions and legendary fragment? including the grinding time of course?
That takes a ton of XP and I am not entirely sure how long it is but boss rush is the best way to do it so far. If you can slot in sage ring the yellow tonic and the scholar trait it goes by faster but you sacrifice a lot of damage or survivability for it. Best to play in group too!
How do you fully cleanse a prism? Every time I do it, it only takes out the xp to the next level and doesnt remove any of the actual progress... am I just missing something obvious?
Yeah you need to get them back. One way is to just buy from Dwell if you have enough relic dust. If not then doing boss rush rewards you with a lot of those too!
Great review! 😃 I thought it was gonna take a while before i could see the list of all fusions. I cant belive it 😮 We are not even 24 hours past the launch of the DLC and we got it. You are the first one who uploaded this info i guess. I have some questions if i may. Do you have the list of all legendary powers? Is there a limit of experience a prism can hold before i start upgrading it? Or i can collect xp in one go for all 50 levels and then upgrade it? Is there a differece between prisms? You have 3 of them i belive so far. How did you get the third one? I mean you get one when you start and you can buy one from Dwell. Thank you for a great breakdown! It is awesome! 🤗🙏
Thanks I appreciate it. So it seems like there are different prisms with different inclinations towards legendary powers but this has to be yet confirmed. You can store a lot of XP on a prism but it's not enough if you want to do the fusions you will have to keep revisiting it like I did in the video. And if you want to see all legendary powers go to remnant 2 toolkit website and click on create new build. There you will be able to select all legendary powers and see what they do!
If I want to do boss rush quick I just go with my quickdraw build usually but since they reversed the nerfs on miasma the ritualist/warden build is great too. Very low risk and chill gameplay
Are you certain those are all the combinations? As an engineer heavy weapon main I'm pretty pissed that they just completely overlooked this build type despite making the system so complicated
Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet but just in case: If you want Dwell to give you Mythic Fragments set your world to Apocalypse then buy Fragments from him. I've been getting them that way and I think the devs increased the likelihood of them appearing via Dwell because it took me forever originally to get just one from him before. I'm going to add a bit of untested theory and say that Explorer may or may not help as well.
Thanks for adding this comment. I was very confused how people are able to get some many mythic fragments. I've played since release (not constantly) and have one managed to find one or two mythics out in the wild from repeatedly picking them up
You should have some from just playing the game normally. And you also only want too feed them for the sake of them appearing in the prism and not to level it up. For levelling just run boss rush on survivor
@@Mr-Nacho420 yeah but I don't have a lot. Jw what's the best root for farming them if there was a way I'm missing. Also great video very informative and straightforward

If you do boss rush the xp is given at the very end so you can play with a good one and just swap to the new one on the last boss so that it will get all of the xp
Now that Sharpshooter is nerfed to 60% and Jack of All Trades is nerfed to 40%, whould you say Sharpshooter is still the best legendary for this prism? or is Jack of All Trades the better option.
There is no confirmation that there is any difference between the prisms. You can for sure get any build on any prism but they might favor some legendary powers over others etc

I already tried that and it doesnt work. The legendary perk selection is tied to the prisms seed and it more or less pre determined from the start
@@Mr-Nacho420 Ye. Tested it myself. It's what I expected tho.
Does it matter if u run it on apocalypse or nightmare or veteran?

Wiki says a prism requires roughly 1,350,000 if you don't do any fusions. Since you get 95,000 experience on a survivor gauntlet and runs are usually about an hour, that means you need almost 15.5 hours to max level a prism without fusions.
Mr. Nacho, does that feel about right from your prism experience?
So casual gamer friendly from the devs. Amazing...
Yeah that system is super grindy and RNG. Not sure why it is this way but nothing we can do I'm afraid
what are you doing to grind xp? I don't think apoc is the best difficulty for boss rush cuz I only got a 15% difficulty multiplier xp bonus which is not much for how much longer it takes to kill bosses
Yea if you can just blast through them on lower difficulties then go for that but bossrush is by far the best option.

morrow sanitarium method = lvls 40-51 in a few hours (about 5 hrs)
Question for you guys, can you get part of a fusion upgrade (i.e., skill cd after getting revitalize) after you already have the fusion? I am trying to stack skill cd so I can free up ring slots, but feeding relic fragments doesn't let me boost the skill cd odds again after getting the fusion.
Edit: Didn't have time to finish video before I had to go and it answered my question.
I think you can't. You can only double up if it's one of the normal relic fragments you slot in and out. So you'd have 20% less cooldown in total. 10% from revitalize, and 10% for skill CD.
@@ChloeHV Thanks ChloeHV.
Started today. Used Losomn Sanatorium farm with Miasma Ritualist/Warden build. Took longer for the first fusion, but it was rolling after that. Fusions in same order as your vid. Working on last one now. This is taxing. The devs need to give us a double XP weekend. 😅
You are almost done with it! The hardest part is the fusions. After that you can reroll the legendary power very easily
Great guide, I kinda wish you shown the difference in damage on the test dummies without and then with the prism.
(I know its high but seeing those rolls in action would have been nice!)
The plasma cutter is between 12-14k DPS :D
Also from what I'm hearing the legendary perk is not extreme RNG it is actually (seeded RNG) the final lvls put in your prism will help skew the odds of getting the legendary you want for example I'm hoping to get double mod charges so I'm hoping mod dmg mod regen being the last perk I lvl to max will help that legendary appear
I go for jack of all traits. I like the invoker gunslinger combo.

Is the higher difficulty multiplier worth it?
Or is doing the 19 boss gauntlet vs trial by fire the best?
19 boss gauntlets on Apocalypse is the best but only if you can do it reasonably fast. If for example you can do 2 survivor ones then it is tough to say.

To get mythic ones you need to have almost all archetypes on max level. Getting relic fragments is easy from dwell if you have enough relic dust. If not then the best way is to do boss rush or play the game normally

They will add a way to reroll legendary powers today I think so just wait :D
Hi but if you reset the prism to level 51 can you put the points back or do you have to do it all over again? Thanks in advance
You need to do it all over again so the most important part is that you get your fusions correctly. No matter what legendary power you get keep it as you will be able to reroll the legendary power in the near future as far as I know.
do we know anything about being able to reset a prism without maxing it out?
The devs said they are thinking about it but no specifics were given
@@Mr-Nacho420 guess i'll spam boss rush to max out the one i fucked up
It's a little bit of a bummer that there are so few fusion combinations.
@@Mr-Nacho420what part of the gun uses charge?
@@trainedorphan9640the first shot is considered a charge (and can be used with Closed Loop) though subsequent shots aren’t
You can just ‘tap’ fire to make every shot a charge at the cost of a slightly slower fire-rate.
@@genericyoutuber5533 oh, didn’t know that. That’s pretty neat actually
I feel like you're looking at the combinations wrong. you can still get Skill/Melee, but they will want to be fused with their own other fusions. Maybe not the penultimate combination of 9 fragments, but there is still some room to make things somewhat powerful.
Is it possible to have like tank and sapper, because they have both DR. Or can judt one affect appear once?
You can only have one unique effect in a prism. If they overlap then they exclude each other as far as I know
Thanks for the guide. IMHO, Jack of All Trades is superior to Sharpshooter because it boosts ALL damage including Range Critical Damage and Weakspot damage by 45% whereas Sharpshooter only boosts Ranged Damage (excluding Range Critical Damage and Weakspot Damage which are separate) by a respectable 75%. i have cleared the game tho and almost all the dlcs
When you speak to dwell he will be selling some fragments. They will have a red, blue and yellow icons respectively. When you buy one of them there is a chance it will be the one you are missing or he will give you one you already have at which point it will just turn into relic dust so its more gambling
The relics you feed to the prism, are they gone permanently and you need to rebuy them from the vendor? Or do they reset?
The ones I feed are gone and I need to get them back if I want to use them.

Thank you for this video, and i’m wondering…. If i don’t have all +5 lvl, i should wait to have it +5 before build the prism ?

That takes a ton of XP and I am not entirely sure how long it is but boss rush is the best way to do it so far. If you can slot in sage ring the yellow tonic and the scholar trait it goes by faster but you sacrifice a lot of damage or survivability for it. Best to play in group too!
