- I find color blocking to be a fascinating style. I love using color in fashion to help tell a story and craft outfits that make a statement. However, I know it’s easy to get overwhelmed by the many possibilities of color combinations, so I wanted to make this video to help you have some guidelines you can go back to the next time you’re debating which color goes best with that burgundy jacket or that yellow sweater.

Yess! Contrasting is not all about bold bright colours, you can go for more subtle combos like olive green/burgundy 🙂

@@justincasubuan5860 lmao ikr, colorblindness isn't that serious but when you think about it, they miss out on a lot of jobs that require color accuracy and be very careful when choosing clothes, not to mention driving could be affected as well. Blue being actually purple.

Chile I literally just watched a video on how Cyan Magenta and Yellow were the primary colors and now THIS?!? I’m so overwhelmed
There are different sets of accepted "primary" colors, CMY is generally used for printers, RGB for monitors, and RYB by artists (for painting for example). I think the one that translates best into fashion is RYB.

While I get this video in a fashion sense, I think it is also very important to know the brand you are advertising. United Colors of Benneton is a company that really hurts our world, not just in an enviromental way (which would be obvious). They destroy large parts of South America, forcing the people that live there to leave, using violence if they refuse t give up their property. They do this with the support of the governments, which explaines why the governments don't do anything about it. The company is unethical and researching a little about the company you are advertising should be normal. Have a great day, but please inform yourself better.

Primary colors aren't red blue and yellow... CMY, cian magenta and yellow, or RGB in light, red, blue and GREEN
RYB (red-yellow-blue) is very much a valid primary color set, it's especially used by artists (in painting, for instance). Generally RGB is used by computers and CMYK by printers, but all three are valid systems.
well, red yellow and blue Is a wrong system, i'm an illustrator, and by using those colors you can't make any color. Light don't work that way. Anyway, i liked the video, the tips are very usefull, it's just a nickpick. The "RBY primary colors theory" Is a misconception, and it's better if you can actually teach the right concept. Anyway, it's a good video, everything else Is really helpful
