Hey Tim, thought I should let you know that your content is like a shining light amongst the men's lifestyle community on RUclips; always so fresh, different and unique... I'm always stumped at how you always have something new to share. Great work!👏🏻
Yep i totally agree with that statement, most of the men fashion lifestyle content on the internet are mostly over the top screaming, while Tim's content arr mostly chill and really enjoyable to watch
Colors make a lot of people nervous because there’s so much to mess up if you’re not comfortable with it but this was a great simple video showing people they shouldn’t be afraid to switch it up
Might sound weird but pink & grey is an absolutely great colour combo for formal clothing. Especially if you wanna inject some colour into your normal business formal /business suit attire. Pair a pink Oxford shirt with grey trousers and navy blazer and see your yourself
I have worn outfit 1 to several social events and received lots of compliments! I'm still getting my basics down, the black, white and greys, but have been trying solid colours like the camel overcoat. I finally feel like I'm finding my sense of style and it's def from watching guys like you, your videos over and over. Truly inspiring! Thank you 🤗
4:27 ayy, finally someone talks about the underrated combination of neon green and black! one of my go-to outfits is actually an all-black outfit with my mild neon green (almost mint) shoes
Not sure why I got recommended this as I never watch anything to do with clothes, colours or fashion. but boy am I glad I did, immediate add to favourites
I love you mentioned that you take inspiration from women's fashion, well I take inspiration from men's common true neutral fashion... Black, beige, navy and of course my favourite WHITE... ❤️
I was so glad to hear that you take inspiration from women's fashion, because you are a huge inspiration to my fashion! I binged a lot of your videos when I first found you and loved your style. I started trying to find the female version of you, but I realized she didn't exist and it would be better to watch your incredibly well-made videos and incorporate your style tips into my wardrobe as I please. You have inspired me to take some leaps that have seriously elevated my boring look, hahaha. So thanks, Tim! Keep up the great work!
Watching you from all the way out in Namibia,Africa. Love you vids bro I learn alot,I finally got a date with my college crush and took your style advice. She loved the look Thanks broo💕
These color combos are so fresh, i love it! i'm not even a guy but i'm aiming for a sort of androgenous vibe, i've been using about a third of these combos on the daily and i'm looking forward to try the others😁 I appreciate how you zoomed in onto the accessories here, i'd love to see a video focused in them!
I just started adding a lot of like swamp colors to my wardrobe, where it's like faded black, taupe, some muddy browns and greens. For me this really helps patching from neutral colors to a piece with statement colors because you can do tonal outfits that's toned down and just have like maybe one stand out piece of color. Orange with browns, rust and taupe and like a pistachio green with kahki, faded black and forrest green. To me this way of wearing colors brings it down because it brings down both contrast between the colors but also the overall brightness of the outfit.
I absolutely love your style!! It's funny that you said that you were inspired by women, and I am actually inspired by you and try to adapt your ideas in my outfits, beautiful combinations!
Tim, every single video you do inspires me so much and after watching it I feel like I've achieved another level of understanding a style. Thank you so much for your useful tips, great editing and work in general! Your channel is the best in this niche 🌿
You can pull off a lot of colours! For those of us with cooler skin-tone and lighter hair (ie. "summers" in colour analysis), oranges, yellows, yellowy greens, and blacks really wash us out and make us look ill if too close to the face. I'm learning to lean toward greys, neutrals, and cooler colours (blue, aqua, cooler greens, blue-leaning purples, and muted cooler pinks). These colours make a world of difference framing the face.
Hey, Tim. Just wanna say that since I started watching your vids, I've really stepped up my style game. Your vids have such high production value, such a relaxed approach and good, nuanced and experienced content. Hope you can make a vid about shoe types and pairings and a collab with other stylish men with diff body types, like more muscular ones so I know how to wear more things! Have a great one, man!
Thank you for your kind words! I really appreciate it! You should check out the collab I did with Nathan McCallum, he definitely has a muscular body type and great fashion sense 🙂 I'll be making more collabs in the future too!
I have learned sooo much more from your videos (especially this one) than any women's fashion or styling videos!! So even though this content wasn't intended for me/women thanksss!!!
Very helpful and insightful videos! I actually used a lot of those color combination myself without even realizing it. Since I am very minimalistic, and I very rarely wear something formal, my only - but very trusted - datenight outfit is a pair of black chunky derbies (very close to dr martens), a beige chino, a black turtleneck sweater and a dark petrol sport jacket. It just always works! It top it off with my Seiko Sarb033 and it feels elegant without being too formal.
Totally down with adding colors! I actually thought you were going to go a bit more wild. But it does make sense that you keep that clean design going that is really in your wheelhouse. I use quite a bit more colors that you do and have actually been paring back lately. Right now I'm wearing black shoes with camel chinos and a patterned button-down that is navy with bits of blue, coral, and camel. My button up sweater is beige and my overcoat black. This is a toned down outfit for me - lol
It's ironic bc I get most of my inspiration from menswear and channels like yours! I like how men's clothing keeps it simple, classic, and neutral haha
1. Camel and Black - I liked the second outfit with the black jacket better. The camel jacket felt too in your face. The camel shirt felt like a dip into the color but not too harsh. 2. Blue and Pink - Never would have thought to put the two together. I preferred the color of the pink shirt to the sweatshirt/hoodie. Obviously, I should have thought about blue jeans. 3. Green and Brown - You see this color combo all the time in camo. The green jacket was so cool. 4. Blue and Orange - I don't like it when people go like bright orange and then some drastic other color. 5. Black and Beige - I like Beige also called Khaki but I feel like with Khaki you have to wear a polo shirt and I hate those things. Black is a nice color compliment though. 6. Neon and Black - I guess everything looks good with black. 7. Pink and Grey - I adore this color combo. So cute. Works with any shade of grey. Men should wear pink more. 8. Navy and Burgandy - I love that color combo. Dark red is one of my favorite shades of red like ever. Navy is super pretty too. 9. Green and Blue - Don't love this color combo. Not really working for me. 10. White and Off-White - An elites would never put the two together.

Hear for my daily dose of fashion tips. I was already using some of these but I have not yet experimented with some of them but neon and black that's defs something I should look into if I want a colour to pop more. Also that off white corduroy jacket is sick. Great tips as always Tim, keep up the good work.
This was extremely helpful as an artist and someone who likes to wear good outfits, thank you very much, now I can experiment more with designing characters’ clothes and just overall outfits irl
Your content is so good it flew al the way to my household in the Philippines and even though im a woman and your leaning mote on mens fashion people dont see it that way instead you also gove tips and tricks in pairing nuetralizing and having to mix colorrs that are shocking like the neon one paired with black all in all i just teally love your content
I have a dark skin and never scare of using bright colors. Sometimes, I am more skeptical about matching the outfit than that of using bright colors. But I am getting better at it.
This is my first time discovering you channel, and when i checked your description to see that every look i saw and wanted in the video was located in it made me subscribe and drop a like with the quickness, thank you & please keep up this work!
I literally bought 3 things in this video on an impulse i thank you so much for including the products in the description... oh and by the way you dropped this: 👑
While we're here, it's worth thinking about pairing colours that are similar ie light pastel colours with white or black with grey but also colours that are opposite like oranges with blues (believe it or not a dark rusty orange goes really well with a dark blue). If you do it right, these kinds of combinations can look really good and you will get noticed/complimented on your fashion style. Also a white shoe goes with everything 👌👌
I'm slowly organizing my, formerly packed with old clothes, closet in color groups so I can easily get whatever whenever. That tip of the sticky would definitely be useful since I spend too much time thinking about good schemes to wear. I'm trying to get into jewellry pairing atm. Trying different metal colors to pair with the schemes.
Hey Tim great video as always, you're my favorite style RUclips's I've been binging your videos since I found you lately and I love your style and presentation. Definitely the best fashion youtuber out there
Other S tier fashion youtubers: Daniel Simmons, Tim, Marcel Floruss, Nathan Griffiths
Colors make a lot of people nervous because there’s so much to mess up if you’re not comfortable with it but this was a great simple video showing people they shouldn’t be afraid to switch it up
Yes! Glad you enjoyed it 😊
it's not the colours, it's the people's mind being fragile enough to have themselves be irritated by it
Might sound weird but pink & grey is an absolutely great colour combo for formal clothing. Especially if you wanna inject some colour into your normal business formal /business suit attire.
Pair a pink Oxford shirt with grey trousers and navy blazer and see your yourself
I think that looks really cool and definitely pops in an office setting. But you gotta get the blue/pink saturation right otherwise it doesn't work.
For sure! It's a killer combo for office wear 👌
My favourite color combo on earth is pink and grey 😍
my favourite is yellow and grey. now that i think about it, i think grey actually works really well with bright colours because of the contrast.
Saaaaaaame
very clean bro, love the critical hit combos here!
the minimalist look is great for us who work at a clothing store and can’t show other brands.
I have worn outfit 1 to several social events and received lots of compliments! I finally feel like I'm finding my sense of style and it's def from watching guys like you, your videos over and over. Truly inspiring! Thank you 🤗
I'm so glad to hear that man! Thank you 🙏
The Pink and Grey combo hit so hard! I tried it last year and i felt so confident and relaxed.
Right! It's so good 🙌
My favourites: Black-Beige, Navy-Burgundy, Green-Blue. You always present style choices that make us look better.
4:27 ayy, finally someone talks about the underrated combination of neon green and black! one of my go-to outfits is actually an all-black outfit with my mild neon green (almost mint) shoes
Last's color scheme is a straight bliss for the eyes. Loved it!
Thank you Abdul! 😊
Ooook the best color advices i’ve found come from you 👍🏽 a woman learning from a man about fashion is OMG NEW GENERATION AND SO COOL 🥲
Not sure why I got recommended this as I never watch anything to do with clothes, colours or fashion. but boy am I glad I did, immediate add to favourites
3:19 fun tip, you can kinda do a form of this with ginger hair. Unfortunately I pay for this by looking terrible in a lot of red clothing
I also think that greens especially emerald green can look really good on gingers.
@@Birtheish meanwhile gingers on st patricks day
2:22 “Audi-das” oh so you’re cultured cultured. Love the content you push out man. Keep creating ✅
Thank you James! Glad you enjoy the content 😊
i dont get it
Retrax CraEZy think he meant the way tim pronounced adidas
@@vr4n4 He pronounced it the way Germans would (as it's a German company). It's like saying Volkswagen as Folksvagen
Yeah American would’ve pronounced it as “ A- dee- ds”, I guess!
2:12 aaaaaaaah the right one! such a pretty color!
That burgundy and navy blue outfit was amazing! Gonna try my own version of it! Keep the videos coming Tim!

Thank you Lia! Glad you enjoyed the video 🙂 I definitely plan to do a video on accessories.
i wear a lot of these combos, especially green and brown. thanks for sharing to ppl that colours can be worn well
Brown and offwhite is also a very good combo. It feels very warm.
Yesss!
Blush & Olive.
They complement each other so well, the analogous blue and green or the time and tested blue and pink just can't compete with it.
I’m afab & trying to get more color into my wardrobe, seeing you in color makes me feel so included and cool. thank you so much

Also SUCH a big fan of your man bun. My husband is Asian and would look SO GOOD styled similarly to you but it's not his thing.
My favorite is burgandy (shirt or polo) with a medium blue denim for sure.
that Navy and Burgandy combo was fire
Honestly the best fashion channel on RUclips. Love the fits !

earth tones are the best!
Why didn't I find this chanel earlier 😭😭, love your videos mate, from Chile 🌎
I was just thinking about injecting some color into my mostly neutral wardrobe. This video is coming in clutch.
Get that pop of color! 😊
Loved the video, only wish you explored color combo #4 more!

I'm trying to get into jewellry pairing atm. Trying different metal colors to pair with the schemes.
