RV6 pilot myself. I LOVE my little RV6. We have flown from SoCAl to AirVenture (OSH) many times, to the east coast and the Florida Keys and back. It is a GREAT airplane!

There are some fly-ins that can be a lot of fun. But between people not paying attention to landing aircraft and crossing an active runway to the pilots that can’t keep track of the right runway numbers, it seems like this place is a tragedy waiting to happen.
My parents have an ‘82 Cessna Centurion P210 out at Temple, TX that you can check out! Can’t remember if I’ve seen you review one before. Love all the great content man 👍
Hey Ian, I’d get a low cost ADS-B receiver (I didn’t see one in the RV-6). You can build one yourself for less than $200. It’s a great tool for building SA approaching a busy airport. Then eyes outside approaching the pattern.

I thought that the Lycoming Fuel Injected engines had horizontal induction and therefore did not need the chin scoop. Does that not apply to the RV-6?
