I swear if I lived near your shop I would be there as much as you would let me to just pick you brain on archery. Thank you for the videos you put out because they are the best when it comes to honest reviews.
I know this would take a lot longer to create, but draw-force curves for these bows would be amazing to see for some of us that don't get to shoot a lot of brands. Love your videos!
I think Darton bows are highly underrated, the Spectra-E, Tempest E-T & Vegas E-T are all great shooting bows! You should talk to Randy Kitts I'm sure he'd be curious to hear what you think... I know PJ Riley seemed to like them a fair amount... I don't think they get the recognition they deserve.... Especially since everyone's using a lot of Darton's patents to make their bows.
Exactly, way ahead of the game by a couple years and aren’t actually overpriced in my opinion. Only issue is they move on so fast with technology that some bows like the 3900 you can’t find. One of the best shooting bows I’ve ever handled.
Six feet off the published speed is the effect of the whisker biscuit! Would be more accurate read with a drop away rest. From other reviews I've seen ( PJ Reily Lancaster Archery ) they seem to be in the running with Hoyt, Mathews and the rest of the pack this year! New ownership making a great impression. There also making there own strings which are Pre stretched!
This seems to be the second RUclips review of the Darton Veracity, if you count Lancaster's, and...I don't. Not exactly reviews, per se, if you know what I mean. Your reviews are top notch, MFJJ -- the technical stuff and good subjective assessments. Not too long, no wasted time. Excellent.
I love my dartons. I’ve been shooting them for 30 years and they’ve all been rock solid bows. I’m currently shooting the Maverick xt and my 3d bow is a tempest 3d Just great bows.
I would probably go with the Elite Omnia over this even though I like a 33" to 34" bow. The Darton draw cycle & the sounds u made when bringing it back makes me appreciate the Elite. However I will probably just continue to shoot my Nexus 4 until I can't get strings or cables next year cuz there isn't a Prime dealer within a 100 miles of me in MN.
If you get the chance to shoot a darton do it. Ik exactly what the draw cycle feels like and I can say it is much different than most bows but it becomes normal after a couple times shooting it.
Thanks for the review, Josh. I would definitely put it on my list to shoot for my next bow. By the way, I was looking through an old book that I read years ago by Lon Lauber and I could swear it’s you in the book as a young kid working at the archery shop. Am I crazy or is that you?
I thought IBO speeds were -2 + 2 on draw weight as well as -2 + 2 on a 350 grain arrow... So you can go up to 72# and 348 gr on the arrow... ? What was her duttons were well made. Anyone that I know who had one - never sold theirs...
And as predicted 1/4 inch adjustments are becoming more and more common. Probably makes a very good cross over bow but really needs a 75% module option.
He meant that it comes with draw stop pads that reduce letoff. It is shipped from the factory at 85%. You can just put larger stops on with a single set screw to drop letoff. Super simple. I believe it comes with three to get you down to 70% if desired.
BTW just so you know,,, it is recommended by all bow manufacturers that you turn down the bow limbs when a bow is to be put in a bow press. I never see you do that. I'm surprised you have blown a bow up in your face.
@@connor_bohnts actually he didn't he did the RX7 the ventum 30 and 33 The High Line and the twin turbo which are all Flagship bows well above $1,500 the tourex is Hoyts value bow at under $1,000
It’s so sad that Darton was the pioneer of innovation back in the day but they just can’t keep up nowadays. I wish they could. Love the company itself but it’s been the same bow for the last 5 years lol
Mathews is the leader of rebranding the same bow. We had the halon, halon 28 called the triax, halon 30 called the vertix, halon 27 and 31.5 called it the vxr, then they really got wild and changed shit up with the halon v3 series
Darton does have to keep up. Rex Darlington is making truckloads of dough off royalties from his cam designs. A 330 IBO with a 6-3/4 to 7 inch brace and this bow would be in the chips.
That’s now how you measure reflex😂 I mean it is but your stick is an inch thick and you measuring from the bottom and didn’t even have it all the way up to the top of the limb pockets lol
That is the best I've ever seen for a speed being close to the Ibo

Darton straight Zippin'... Great review as always.
I just built strings for my local shop owners personal veracity 35 and picked up 8 fps. The prelude 32 is the one I’d like to hunt with! Nice review
Looks like a pretty awesome bow
The quarter inch adjustments are an appealing feature. It’s the main reason I had interest in the Elite Kure

I bought a 80 pound draw weight Darton Viper in I'd say the early 80's I think it was, man I loved that Bow...for back then it was a shooter.. lol
3rd time worked! LOL Great video MFJJ! Your head might get cold with that fresh cut buddy!
Love the honesty and input both positive and negative.
Once again Josh good job
Nice mohawk, and a nice bow actually with a Bisquit and hitting 334 out of 339 and not a full 70 pounds ? thats hitting speed in my book well enough.
Id like to see a review on the 2023 Bear Execute 32!
Looks like you got your chrono fixed 😄

That thing sounds super quit! And carries good speed!
Bout damn time they give the hunter more precision thru adjustments!

You should check out the athens visa lineup

Mohawk smaller means less compensation? Did someone get the pill again?
If you were to put a stabilizer, I don't know, like the ones you make on there.....how do they feel? Just saying...
Athens vista 33 or 31
It's up to 31.5" adjustable (not 31).
Waiting for the Prelude E32 review
I would like to see the new darton prelude e 32
Would you test a bear execute bow?
What is your favorite bow that you shoot

MFJJ, how about testing Athens Archery Vista series.

they have modules that come with the bow
@@darrellbarton8727 I sure hope that bow comes from factory with modules😉😂
