Yeah remember when video games were fun. And didn't have a over bearing message. And no one was trying to shove unrealistic character development into certain genders. Basically just making playable cartoons.

I make games as a hobby and I always look at the ones I played as a kid for design and gameplay guides. Somehow, even though you got an instruction manual, old games still had very well made in-game tutorials. Yet some modern games (without instruction manuals) are worse at explaining controls. Very annoying. And also the political crap like you mentioned.

To this day, the large eyes of the characters still creep me out. 😱

I'm pretty sure the reason why the characters had large eyes may be because of a blend of early manga & 90s Anime styles mixed together to make each character have distinct facial expressions which is why the characters eyes are quite large. At least that's what I think.

Been waiting for this! I wanted to compare how accurate it was to the Japanese version (it turns out: quite!) This dub is better sounding in my opinion, I don't like the US voices.
