Now in this video I'll be highlighting all the things I do for my bearded dragons like feeding, cleaning, and giving baths. No wonder your Beardies are so tame and sweet. What is depicted here is rigorous daily training, not simply regular handling, and you have imprinted the survival circuits in their brains to approach YOU for food and comfort.
Also, the daily bath does the same, by imprinting in their brains that you are helping them to seek out comfort. The first circuit of the brain deals with seeking food and comfort and avoiding predators; so you must have made imprints in their brains, teaching them that in allowing you to handle them, they have their needs met.
This is beautiful. Such conscientious care, love, and respect for animals is admirable! 🐉🦎🐉

My big boy free ranges 100% of the time. He uses a light strip across my aquarium as his heating pad. I have UV A and UV B lamps over it to provide his UV needs. But I also try to get him outside every chance I get, which is often here in Phoenix, Arizona. He gets a soak in the sink every morning which gives him a chance to drink, and he usually poops in the sink as well. No accidents in the house since he usually only poops once a day. Easy peasy.
Heating pay are not good for them but you do you I'm just trying to help hope this helps if you have any questions please feel free to ask me

Chlorhexidine can be purchased at drugs stores as well but deff make sure to dilute before using its a very strong antibacterial wash i use to use it as a wash for dogs ears when I was a groomer

How many insects should I feed my beardie (quantity wise) or do they stop eating when they are full...
They’re all so cute! I just got my first ball python 2 days ago and today I’m going to be feeding it! I’m more of a snake person since I hate bugs 😂 but I love how well you take care of all your reptiles

Honestly I would say yes because it's made from natural ingredients but I would still look more into it before using it.
How did you get them to eat veggies?? I have a juvenile bearded dragon and he wont eat any😭😭. When I try he just closes his eyes or ignores the bowl.

I always say when I am asked how to care for them and when I’m told they are a lot of work to please not get one then. Most ask to get them for their kids and it’s just a lot for a kid.

My boyfriend and I just got a baby bearded dragon, we love her so much! She is still under 6 months old. Question, is it normal if she only eats like 6-10 crickets a day? So many websites say like 15-20 a day...I've tried some veggies too she doesnt seem to be a huge fan lol... but I'll try the tricks from your other video! Your videos are super helpful!
Are the crickets the proper size? They should be as small as the length between your beardie's eyes. Sometimes if they don't eat, it could be parasites. When I got mine, she didn't eat much. I took her to get a fecal and found out she had a bunch of worms., indicating improper care where she had come from. Whenever you get a new beardie, you should always get a fecal done for parasites to make sure they are healthy. Babies will have a diet that is mainly protein--insects--but this changes as they mature. Salads should still be provided, but it's completely normal that she isn't eating them.
