My SE finally died last year replaced the battery 3 times and the LCD once its running IOS 11 but some off my apps are not functional it was my best purchase so far
I have and am using the SE 3 to make this comment. (Midnight 256GB) And after half a year or so of ownership this is the best, phone I’ve owned yet in all my life. I plan to use it for as long as humanly possible. If you’re on a budget and I understand everyone’s financial situation are different so I really suggest the SE new or used. You can find them really cheap and they will have everything most people will want a phone for, really anything more is overkill in my opinion. And or if you want a home button and or Touch ID the SE 3 is the best of the best in that regard. :) I love my iPhone a lot. :3

Basically it's an iPhone 13 in an iPhone 8 Case. It's like the best combo when you don't want a phone in tablet size. If there would be an iPhone SE4 I would defently buy it. If there would be an iPhone 16, 17, 18 or whatever in a an iPhone 5 case (like the iPhone SE1) I would also defently buy it. I bought an as-new reconditioned 2nd gen SE for £129 with 100% battery and I run iOS 18.1 on it. It's great! It's so tiny. The battery life isn't great compared to modern iPhones, but for a 'going to the pub' phone its brilliant, and you wouldnt care if you dropped it.
I love the iPhone SE. I have the 3rd generation in Midnight. I have the 64gb model and I don’t mind since I don’t really have much things on this phone. It’s an awesome sized phone and performance is great. I don’t mind the small screen and 720p. I barely notice the difference between screens. After a year and a half, I have 88% battery health. It still lasts me many hours. If you need a really good iPhone but on a budget, get this phone but not from Apple, just get it from retailers.
As a 7 Plus user, I’d actually get this considering how expensive iPhones are in my country, I’d only have complaints about the lack of cameras, I just watch RUclips on my phone, text, call and even light gaming sometimes which is like 1% of the time I think, I really don’t care about the design and the display, I just need the latest iOS and I like smaller phones for some strange reason
Here is a very satisfied iPhone SE 2022 user, the phone does everything it needs to, it's fine with me. It actually works very well (I have a Samsung, so I can compare, the Samsung only has a big OLED screen and nothing more)
I had product Red iphone SE 2022, and it was so good. Yeah it was 720p but never noticed it that much cause it's a small phone anyway. This phone was so cute.
It's actually 750p (1334x750), so slightly more pixels than 720p (~80k more pixels). But the real resolution is 326 dpi because of the small screen, so it's still a cutting edge smooth display, bettered only by the newer 400+ dpi screens. And the backlight LEDs are still of higher end quality than on even more expensive phones that are natively more bluish (high-end OLEDs are incredibly expensive). These SE displays are top quality backlit screens if you ask me. EDIT: And it's P3 wide colour, high contrast ratio, pretty impressive.

I have the iPhone se third gen. Horrible battery life after it drops below 90% health. And unfortunately, in any hot environments, the battery will degrade very fast. I am at 84% in 11 months. Yes, 84%. The battery is very tiny that any minor degradation to the battery would considerably effect the battery life unlike the iphone with bigger batteries with the same amount of environmental stressors.
I got my iPhone SE 3rd Gen Starlight 256GB and love it! Many people said battery life is horrible but it doesn't bother me since I have 2 iPhones right now I also have 14 Pro Max so Face ID and Touch ID for me to experience. Using only Face ID is boring 😂😂
before even watching the video, i gotta say, its not worth $429. i got mine for $125, and i would say it's worth $180-$200 at most. it's wicked fast, and I love the design, but it feels really old with a case on, and while i love the size, just get a 13 mini instead, because a 13 mini is less than $429, and way better. Biggest issue I have with the SE is the LCD screen, I just actually hate using that screen, even though the rest of the phone is SO AMAZING. I would love to see a home button iPhone with OLED, I would love it so much. Especially on iOS 18 with large icons also, you can tell how bad the resolution is, as well on the XR. Love everything about the SE except for the low resolution, LCD panel. When the screen is still that dark navy color even when its 0 0 0 black, seeing that the screen is still on is so annoying for me, I'm weird about stuff like that though, not everyone would notice it, but I'm sure all the iPhone nerds in this comment section will notice 😂
I own a SE 1 (not main phone, locked to a carrier I'm not using) and I could use it as a daily driver if it wasn't locked. If I really wanted to, I could just buy a SIM card from the carrier, register and use it.
I like the fact that you mentioned we could purchase this phone through Walmart for $189 locked and with a plan. I feel like not a lot of people would know that. It does make it a little more enticing but Apple should at least get rid of the 64GB model and sell the 128GB model for $429 or maybe $379 at this point and sell the 256GB model for $50 more.
I wish they released a new SE that looked like the 8 Plus, but I don't think that would happen. It's been a very long time without buttons and big bezels for Apple to risk it; people are used to a different form factor which is the current one

I love how the SE Feels and will buy one in the future... specifically the 3rd Gen... As it has a Touch ID and Lightning Port... Much better in my opinion than the Face ID and the USB-C Port...
The USB-C port is literally the best port for everything. Sure, there are millions of different standards. But as long as you have a power delivery and fast transfer speeds, that's all you need.
@@SamCoder. I think this is clearly the Apple's problem as they're now forced to adapt to the USB-C. They should've switched right when they started using them on their MacBook Pro models. Nobody likes proprietary connectors as they're not available from the 3rd parties.
I got SE2022 as a daily driver. Calls, web serfing, messages, videos - it does all of that and battery life is OK for me. Got same "night blue" version with 128Gb memory capacity. Bought it slightly used with IOS 15.4 (first owner hasn't updated it) so i got it jailbroken. A nice replacement for my SE 2016.
I quit using iPhones after the 12, and recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra...for under 300 dollars..it's an amazing phone, but I'll probably get the SE 4 when it's released because it'll be different the price for the SE 3 is much too high.
I realize they're probably going to go with a design similar to the iPhone XR or 11 for the next SE, but I would love if apple just based it off of the iPhone 12/13 mini design instead.

I can't believe how Apple conditioned its users (or perhaps cult members?) to the notch, which to me (who am not having a notch on any of my screens) is a horrible distraction. Who needs to be looked at and their face scanned constantly by a mobile device in their hands anyway? Apple convinced people to believe in a lie that a face scan is 'private and secure'. Not at all, still the most secure measure is to use an internal passphrase (the one that is in your head). Notice how Apple does not offer a password manager app, which to me is as necessary to have as Reminders, Timer or Calculator, etc. They don't want you to use secure passphrases, becuse they want to scan your face constantly, so that AI algorithms can learn your face over the years and years of scanning, so that they can recognise your hidden ilnesses in the future in order to i.e. profile your life expectancy accordingly, so that you are permitted to use only so much of the resources (water, food, etc.). A smart way to smartslavery that most won't even want to notice, just like they learned to not notice the notch.

No it is not worhy buy. A friend of mine has it and he suffers a lot because of the terrible battery life. His phone is constantly connected on charger. But he is iSheep and he says it is not a big deal. For me this phone is suitable only for adult people who use it only for calls and occasional messaging

@@adeptiworks My friend has such SE model and it literally throttles up on anything. Even my old Xioami phone with like a chipset from a flip phone felt more responsive and faster in all daily tasks.
