Oh my gosh this brings back memories from literally last year I went here with my whole family except my Dad. My whole family was actually kind to eachother for the first time, I miss that time 😥

Us too, we stayed last month, but I haven't had a chance to edit the footage yet as I'm a bit behind. The new activity area is amazing.
Hi! This was one of your first wonderful videos I watched before deciding on Haven Seaview as it offers beautiful views of the sea... Well I've just accidentally booked another bargain £69 break for my birthday in May! Whoopsie.
Ps... There are bargain breaks at Combe Haven (6th-10th May) perfect timing for Jack in the green festival, the main event being on the Monday! Something you might all be interested in & can watch on RUclips first to see if it's your thing.
Bit gutted I didn't Google the dates of Jack in the green before booking Seaview, but will still enjoy Dorset. :)
I'm not familiar with Jack on the green so i will have to look into that. I like trying new things, so maybe this is something i can look at for next year. Shame they choose a Monday and not a weekend day.
@@KarionTravelling The Jack in the Green celebrations runs across the May bank holiday weekend. This year is Friday 3rd-Monday 6th May. There are drummers, bands, Morris Dancers and the like. Gets very busy.

It's a great park, one of my top three. We're trying a few others this year, but I will definitely be going back to Wey Bay soon.

We're staying at Thornas Bay and Whitecliff Bay, I've not been to IoW since I was a girl on a school trip, so I'm looking forward to it.

Went last week, beautiful park, unfortunately not so the van, very tired and hadn't been cleaned or maintained for a while.... didn't let it ruin our break though....
I'm glad you had a lovely time. It's s a shame about the caravan. We stayed in one recently (not Haven) that reminded me of my nans house in the 80s

I love how they give you anti bac wipes
I have a caravan box with wipes and spray, but I take those little packs home with me in case I run out or forget. So far our caravans have always been spotless when we arrive, but it's nice of Haven to provide extras. 😊
Thanks for the video but maybe more information about the park,how long the walk is to the beach instead of insects and watching the carousels
It's about 10-15 minutes stroll down to the beach and the funfair, but if you don't have young kids in tow it probably won't take that long.
Hi, out of the 4 haven dorset park's, which would you say was the best, weymouth Bay?
My favourites are Weymouth Bay or Rockley Park. We haven't stayed at Littlesea yet. Seaview was lovely, it's quite compact and on a hill, but I would stay there again. 😊

It took us about 15-20 minutes gentle stroll with a 4 year old (who kept stopping to look at flowers). It's probably 5-10 minutes for fast walkers. 😊

🤣🤣 I had to stand there for ages waiting for them to move further away so I could film that shot. The weather that week wasn't the best and I couldn't risk coming back another day. Thankfully no 🐍 and 🕷 to worry about though 😊
Hi Kari,sorry to pick your brains,I've stayed at Weymouth Bay multiple times,but never near the area,that is situated near to the church nearby,I've got very young kids,and I've heard that the church bells sound or chime very frequently,I've no issue with church bells,but if I'm on holiday with young kids needing rest/sleep,I wouldn't want them woken up!,have you heard if this is true regarding the bells!,heard it's every 15MINS plus very early in the a.m and up untill late at night!!, apologies for getting in touch on this,just thought you might know??,great video by the way 👍
That's no problem. I remember the bells ringing on the hour during the day but I don't know if they ring at night. I have asked in a group to see if anyone else knows and I'll message back ASAP. 🙂

I've had a reply back to say it's every hour. If it's too noisy you might be able to ask for a alternative van - even in the middle of the night.
@@KarionTravelling many thanks Kari,much appreciated 👍 for your response,my error,I paid an additional cost to select a holiday home near that area,but I'm now in the process of changing this decision!!!,I've stayed in Hillview or Hillside and that area was nice,plus it fairly close to the clubhouse, outdoor play park/pool etc so hopefully we'll end up there.Many thanks.
@@tommytaylor4139 I hope you get it sorted. We stayed on East Lawn and it was lovely, not far from the facilities or play park, and you couldn't really hear the bells.

It's one of my favourite parks, we've been back, but I need to edit the video.
If u know but will it be like that in the summer cuz we are going on the 16 of next month and do I have to wear face masks and the video is Great it helps so much
Hopefully things will be better if the restrictions ease, but I think you'll have a great time anyway. They are working so hard, but no one knows yet what the government will decide. I'm glad you liked the video and wish you a fab holiday.

I'm glad it helped, we had a lovely holiday there and we definitely be going back. I want to see their entertainment and try the pool when all the water features are working. It's in my top two parks alongside Rockley Park.

Thank you very much. Sorry I'm not sure, some Havens took then out during covid. If you try calling them direct, I've always found Haven very helpful.

I will try and talk more in upcoming vlogs and show more of what we get up to, it was difficult with the first few videos this year because of restrictions but 🤞things are getting back to normal.

Yeah, I used to leave a half second gap because of the ads. I watched a 'How to RUclips' video, and he said to leave a slight pause so people didn't miss the beginning. Editing advice has changed a lot over the years. 😊
