@@KaizenTutorials hi, would you mind helpingme please? there seems to be a problem everytime i try to add a material to my shirt, instead o adding the material i created on blender, it gets a bit more gray
@@KaizenTutorials Thank you for your response. Hmm i dont think i did.. i mean i followed the tutorial.. but there might be something I missed, would you mind explaining how to export my material as images? I would greatly appreciate it, im so close of getting this done, and this setback kinda made mefeel hopeless thankyou!

This was honestly pretty good not gonna lie. Can we do motion tracking with AR too like tracking motion of a room and adding other elements. That would be pretty cool
Thank you Harnai! Yes you actually can. There's so much you can do in Lens Studio and motion track type stuff where you place items in a room and add atmospheric effects are absolutely possible!
@@KaizenTutorials Well thank you so much Kaizen. You have been extremely helpful in blender community. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to your Tutorials
Amazing video! 1. at 2:05 - how do you get the faces to break up into that many squares? 2. When I add an image at 2:48, it covers my entire model rather than just the shirt. What am i doing wrong?
Thank you! That's a subdivided model. So originally the model may have had 40 faces total, then it got subdivided to smooth it out and now it has 200 for example. What you're seeing is that subdivided version. In regards to your entire model having the texture, that means you have the same material applied to your model and not only your shirt. Make sure to select the rest of your model, delete the shirt material and add a new one. Now it should work!
Hey i just followed the video and it works just fine. I have few questions regarding this. The tshirt looks really cartoonish or in other words, it doesnt look like a real cloth. How can I make it more real? And also the dress doesn't fit properly, there are size issues type something. How can we fix it
There's also a way to do real cloth, but it's a completely different process. Sizing is an issue as the app just approximates body types and has to work with generally any body. It's hard to get right afaik. ruclips.net/video/sngmOnEr4Q8/видео.html
Actually, i suggest this rough idea in some interview in clothing brand using AR for customer, so they can imagine a product without going to store and some how it happened 😅
Is there any way to add a carrousel to this method? ive seen ways to add a carousel but with the png mehtod. Also i had to export my texture but it was gray instead of gold, could osmeone please help me ? than kyou
I've only ever seen the carrousel with PNG's too. As for your texture make sure you're exporting the right maps (e.g. base color) so you're getting the correct result!
hi. very nice tutorial. but i have a question. when i put the fbx in lens studio, it apears super little and displaced. what might be the cause? thanks in advance
Maybe you don't have your scale applied? Make sure your object is on the right position in your scene and the scale and other transforms are applied. Don't apply location though as this messes up your origin.
When i put my exported blender fbx file in lens studio it doesnt show my design, however when i open the fbx in windows 3d viewer it does show. Where could this have gone wrong?
Could someone help me PLEASE? everything went smoothly until assigning a material. my shirt changed to a slightly gray version. It was supposed to change to a blue shirt with a heart on it. what happened? thank you
@@KaizenTutorials Excuse me, is there any way you could help me please? I didnt manage to solve that, i found my way around it but now im asked to add another design to this filter, is there any way of doing so ? (a carousel) i would greatly appreciate it!
The shirt automatically adapts to the person afaik through snapchats technology. I can’t change the size or stuff like that, that’s all snapchats backend.

Afrer viewing this, I spent all night making dumb snapchat filters instead of working on the actually design competition so thanks for that. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hahaha no worries. It’s a lot of fun!

Nice! It’s a very cool technique
Its working fine in lens studio but when i publish it, it wont work
Weird! Sounds like u should contact snapchat about that to see why that is

Fixed it by exporting as: a glTF file
Oh nicely done! Alternatively you propably just need to set up your materials in Lens Studio, as they dont compeltely work by default.
how to 2:04?
Sorry, Frist time using blender and didn't know what step you choose because too fast for me.
To select edges press 2 on the keyboard and then hold alt to select edge loops :-)
Is there a shirt file I can use I don't use blender at all please and thank you
Theres probably a ton of models available online such as on Sketchfab!
Could someone help me PLEASE? everything went smoothly until assigning a material. my shirt changed to a slightly gray version. It was supposed to change to a blue shirt with a heart on it. what happened?
thank you
Did you export your material as images? Just importing the material doesn;t work. You need the image textures!

empty mesh isn't appearing in the search
Hmm... it should be available if you followed the steps correctly...

How do we make this shirt adaptable and trigger to get bigger if the camera detects a plus size person? Seems fatphobic that this is just one size :/
