HOW TO COLAB - PART 1, Collaboration with ALEX HÖFFKEN on drums
I’m excited to share the first part of a collaboration with Berlin-based drummer Alex Höffken. I started by recording an instrumental track and invited Alex to add his drumming to it. He recorded the drums in his studio and sent me the files, which I then mixed.
Stay tuned for PART 2, where I’ll be sharing the mixing session here on this channel. I’ll dive into the details of my guitar sounds, how I structured the session, and other behind-the-scenes insights.
In PART 3, over on Alex’s channel, he’ll take you through his recording process, explaining how he tracked the drums and the various percussion elements he used.
