I worked in fine dining kitchens. Some customers were just absolutely ridiculous. Rude, ignorant, clueless… we just had to laugh at some of the strange requests. Otherwise we’d get grumpy.
Whomever orders a burger split 6 ways should have to be the one that splits the burger. Hand them the knife and be like "You must have done this before because I haven't". Lol
Looks so good but having been a patron of Tom Douglas restaurants since 2014, any chance you could make some videos on why pastry’s are better at restaurants like Dahlias Bakery? Love the videos, keep killin it!
I used to work various stations in a corporate kitchen for a law firm and people always had crazy requests. All I wanted was to get the food moving, but it got ridiculous at times.
Lol.... Matt, no 20.00 burgers in 2017... I worked at the Garden Court in the old Four Seasons Hotel Seattle in the early 90s. Its now the Fairmont Hotel... yeah we had crazy prices in that hotel. Not gonna lie . Those burgers were delicious. Honestly, it was the only employer and job I can say I hated. The Executive chef was an ass on the next level. I ended up cussing him out in no uncertain terms. I ended up going back to The Madison hotel. He later turned up. He was walking out of HR when i saw him on first day. Not me running to tell the staff to watch out for him. I told HR they would be in for a rash of complaints, because in our hotel we werent mean to people. He lasted less than a year. I later learned that the Executive team had all discussed my warnings about him in the beginning. 😂😂😂😂 If I cut the burger up, it looks like I butched the meat myself. You cut for me, it looks even more delicious. And not everyone has touched to the food. You lots of your coworkers don't wash their hands.... lol😅😅😅❤ I would take the dishwasher cutting my food up before coworkers ❤
legends know matt has gone through this more than once
Yep haha
Naah , imagine a grown ass man taking shit too far just cuz splitting 1 burger in six pieces 🤦

Does the $20 Royal with cheese split 6 ways come with a $5 milkshake and 6 straws?
I worked at a bar and a customer wanted a cocktail split into 2 glasses.
That was split nicely, clearly not your first rodeo
When do we get the burger split 8 ways video?
I’m ok
I always did the special request even when it was as ridiculous as no blood on a rare steak 😂
Oh man i remember those
The burger pie
What's the brand name of the heating element you are using?
Man, you don't wanna know. It's the breville induction cooktop. It has amazing features, and might cost more than your entire stove. It's $1,500.
This story has definitely been told before but man it's a funny bit, split in half is one thing but 6 ways ????

All these years later he's still not over it...

The burger that hurts my appetite:
depending on how good of a day i was having ... I'd probably push back on splitting it 6 ways. I'd send out 6 plates and a steak knife.
Haha yep
