Thank you Sarah, no matter how many times you may (in the future) film these techniques, they never get old and the application is always different in some way. I really appreciate YOU. Thank you.
I love your work! Could you please tell me if after finishing the sewing of the dress and the embroidery on top of the pleats, the threads that were used for pleating are removed?
In the video I can’t see the end of the thread. It looks like it’s doubled over, but you said to use 3 strands. We’re you smocking with 3 or 6 strands? And how long of a thread to you use? Thanks!
Sarah, When using floche for geometric smocking, do you use more than one strand? I am new to smocking and not sure how to use the different threads. Thanks for your great videos!
it depends on the look you're going for... I've done just one strand several times when wanting a more delicate look on lightweight fabric. one strand of floche is about 1.5x the width of floss. thanks!

Thank you Sarah for all your tutorials. They have been so helpful as I learn Classic Sewing. Thank you!
Sarah, thank you again and again, you are loved.
Handwork could be relaxing or rambunctiously agonizing 🌷😇

three strands, and about 18 inches long at a time. thanks!
What color floche did you use? I need to order it from this website where all the floche is available...😜
lol it's coming in this month's floche braid ;-) thanks!
When this video started you were taking a stabilizer off of a pleated piece. I’ve never seen that before. Can you explain what you were doing?
it's explained in the construction video that is linked at the end of this video, thanks!
Can you post the link to your website or wherever the pattern is?
