From Washington state, USA. I am a Hay. My great grandfather Robert Johnstone Hay born in Lanarkshire in 1901 and left Scotland in 1926. My dream is to come to Scotland and never leave. I just want my family back there. I just don’t feel connected with this rock I live on and have always been in love with my family history. I can’t wait till the day I can join the games.
A HAY! from Mississippi, USA
My grandfather is a Hays (William Monroe Hays) he lied about his age to start his 25 year navy career at 16 where he added an 'e'
I am now the last of my immediate lineage until my son becomes of age.
Can't wait to share our history with him as he matures
I am from the Clay Clan.

im a leith of harthill my great great grandfather came to canada in 1875 he was a alderman in victoria when it was the columbia district and was partners at black ball ferry and sold insurance to my knowledge my leith branch was always closely tied with the gordon clan and suffered greattly due to the english civil war we were on the monarchist side of things my great etc uncle was put to death at age 25 Patrick Leith and my grand grandsire was jailed but got up to some crazy antics the violent laird John Leith Harthill i am a decadent of Patrick 6th of lieth Harthill
i noticed there is not much known about us more recently since patrick 6th but rest assured we are still here in the modern era we are not a dead line
anyways i only came here cause im connected to a specfic group of peerage of hays the leith-hays i have no affiliation with the broader diaspora of hays
we Leith Harthill's actually identify as being apart of clan Gordon
