I love cb, I live 10 min from there shop an the service is top notch as well
Best distributor out there imo and definitely the best bang for your buck.
Forgot to add, great video also 🤙
Thanks!
Great video, I had those wires on the 2332 Pat Downes idiot me and they only lasted 3 seasons…. Trying his new wires now. Keep up the good work!
badass setup. I suggest flipping the coil over so the wires are on the other side and can be hidden better. I know you used the same holes but I got new tins so I was able to mount it even closer over towards the dist to hide wires even better.
I played with it a bit and got everything tucked away nicely. I might make a tube for the plug wires to clean it up even more.
😎Hey, at least the Hell weather is dialing back... a bit. LOL!
Just bought a 66, ran at first, now nothing at ignition turn, new ignition installed, I have this same module....nothing at all. Good video I need to test for spark at this point.
Your projects are amazing but some of us old guys just want to keep what we got running. One of these days I may bring you an engine to wrench on. Would be good to have a "backup." Wherever are the "lifer" guys? Keep up the great work Jason.
I appreciate the support. Some of the cooler stuff I work on comes from friends. I do the best I can to keep at least 2 of my cars going at the same time, and that alone is a ton of work lol.
Mine burned out 1hr after install, still trin to get a new pickup for it.
Very Nice ! .. You want to show people, and yet you stand blocking the audience. Very Nice !
👍
Did you sticking with the springs it came with?
👍⚙️
🤷♀️
I need the ignition Module
I think on the CB distributers you have to replace the whole thing. If you have an 009 or similar you can swap the internals with pertronix or hot spark module.
I have one that has computer setup on it ,do you have any experience with it?
I don't. My other motor has a crank trigger with the EFI and it's laptop tunable. I haven't spent any time with it yet. Mario at thedubshop.com is pretty good with that stuff and he does remote tuning. Maybe he can help?
Any dynorun before and after??
I wish! I don't have access to a dyno.
@@OldVolksTV it would be interesting to se the torque numbers efter after 5he ignition uppgrade
Do you have to reset sparkplug gap
You should do the withe in chrome instead if you ask me...
Chrome reflects a lot of heat in the engine compartment which can make an already hot engine run hotter.
@@OldVolksTV ok good point
